great integration but reporting needs advanced features

Pros

I've moved between several different programs but SmartLinx brings together scheduling, payroll and compliance all in one place. Having everything connected like this makes it easy to see who's available and qualified for shifts, plus payroll runs well based on actual hours worked.

Cons

The reporting features lack advanced filtering and on-platform analysis capabilities, forcing users to export data and complete time-consuming manual manipulation in spreadsheets. More user-friendly and powerful built-in reporting would greatly enhance efficiency

Keeps us compliant

Pros

Saves me lot of time throughout the day. Everything I need is centralized in one place which makes finding information so much easier. Helps keep us compliant with all the regulations we need to follow. Really appreciate having so many useful features bundled together under one platform.

Cons

Sometimes the multiple number of features can make things feel overwhelming and harder to navigate.

scheduling automation is a time-saver

Pros

What really stands out to me is how easy this tool is to use while still packing in tons of features that have made running my business so much easier. The scheduling automation is a game-changer as it saves us countless hours when organizing our team. I'm also impressed by the interface and how well it adapts to our organization's specific requirements.

Cons

The only downside I've come across are occasional minor technical glitches, though support always resolves them quickly.

allows me clock in and out from my phone

Pros

Being able to clock in and out right from my phone when I'm on the move is really convenient.

Cons

I dont like whne i can't fix dates once I have entered them incorrectly

not for colorblind people

Pros

The overtime and hour overage warnings are a helpful addition though getting everything configured feels awkward and a bit complicated.

Cons

Hard to use when you're colorblind since there's no accessibility mode for people with vision issues

Eliminates overtime issues

Pros

Scheduling and attendance features are really helpful for managing payroll and staying compliant. It does a great job eliminating overtime issues and keeps us on track with regulations.

organized system, but hard to get used to

Pros

Unable to set up payroll and time-off policies

Pros

Being cloud-based means everyone on the team can jump in from anywhere, which helps keep our workflow smooth and efficient.

Cons

There's quite a few bugs in the updated system and they're struggling to set up certain parts of our payroll and time-off policies properly.

Convenient having everything at one place

Pros

I really appreciate being able to clock in and out through this, plus I can check my timecard, view my hours in the system and access all my pay stubs. Having everything in one spot is very convenient.

Cons

I find it annoying that I have to go through the motions of requesting time off just to check my accrued PTO balance. Would be much more convenient if this info was displayed somewhere accessible without the extra steps.

Cuts out unnecessary expenses

Pros

Boosts our productivity significantly and cuts out unnecessary expenses plus it really helps reduce the risk of errors too.
