Quick setup with preconfigured Staff Files

Pros

Because it came preconfigured, I could immediately begin entering information for each of our employees, that allowed me to get the initial database up and running quickly and afterwards I was able to continue making adjustments and additions as our needs evolved.

Cons

The reporting functionality is fairly limited and I still can't figure out how to filter or sort reports by particular fields which has been a source of real frustration for me.

Clear insights from reporting features

Pros

As a user, I find the software remarkably easy to navigate and its reporting features deliver clear and useful insights that help me understand the data.

Cons

Nothing..... I honestly can't come up with any drawbacks at this point, since my experience has been consistently positive across the different features.

Useful HR Tool

Pros

Overall, I find that it addresses the bulk of our HR requirements and generally meets our operational needs within that domain, although there are a handful of refinements I would like to see implemented to make it more great for day-to-day use, for example, a feature that allows vacation schedules to be printed in a month-by-month calendar layout so I can distribute hard copies to staff would be extremely helpful and eliminate the manual formatting we currently do. In addition, I feel strongly that a confirmation prompt or question box before changes are committed would prevent accidental edits from being saved, because I have, on occasion, had an employee record open while multitasking and inadvertently pressed keys that either removed or altered a name or other field and there is presently no safeguard against auto-saving those unintended modifications, a manual "Save" button would also serve this purpose well. I would also greatly appreciate an undo/redo capability so that I can revert to previous information when mistakes are made which ties into the need to reference earlier data after an erroneous change. Furthermore, importing more detailed data from QuickBooks, such as wage information, would align our reconciliation process (though that limitation may be related to QuickBooks itself). Finally, adding a search function to locate an employee by name instead of scrolling through long lists would save valuable time. Note: I was unable to get the star rating feature to function correctly, my overall rating for the system is 4, Ease of Use is 3 and Customer Service is 3.

saves time on HR tasks and accruals

Pros

I honestly can't mention how much time this program has saved both me and my office manager, since we depend on it for nearly every administrative and HR-related task we handle, in particular the User tab which allows us to customize fields, permissions and settings in great detail, has been configured by us to mirror our entire workflow and the system's reminder functionality has been indispensable for keeping us on top of evaluations, certification exams, recurring training periods and other deadlines, additionally, the accrual module is outstanding, it supports multiple accrual schedules and automatically applies different rules based on how long an employee has been with us, so it manages all of those calculations and recordkeeping without manual intervention, freeing us to focus on higher-value work and I truly appreciate the extra time it has given our team.

Cons

Nothing..... I haven't come across any drawbacks or issues to report.

Great tool but export limitations!

Pros

In my experience, it serves as a generally great HR solution, offering the functionality you need for routine employee management but there is one feature gap that I would absolutely love to see addressed, the ability to export any desired field into an Excel spreadsheet. Right now you can partially accomplish this by navigating to "Reports" and then selecting "Employee List," yet when you examine that output you quickly discover that not every field is included or selectable. If the product team were able to implement a mechanism allowing any and all fields to be added to that employee list export, I would substantially raise my rating, since that capability would eliminate a major data-access limitation.

Cons

At the moment, I have no additional complaints beyond the export limitation.

Simplifies HR document management

Pros

In my role within human resources, I've found it to be an excellent software suite that our HR team can fully leverage, combining an simple interface with a easy setup process that quickly became a significant asset to our operations. The process of scanning and categorizing personnel documents is remarkably simple and locating specific files within an employee record is equally effortless which has saved me considerable time, furthermore, my directors have direct access to the pro system so they can review personnel files remotely without needing to come to my office and we also have the ability to send documents via email to employees or directors when required. The drawbacks are minor: when I scan multiple new items that belong under the same label (for example, FMLA paperwork), the most recent file ends up at the end of the list instead of being placed at the front where I would expect it to appear and there is no functionality to affix virtual "post-it" style notes to scanned documents. Despite these small issues, I have recommended this tool to several colleagues and actively encourage HR departments to adopt it.

great for digital records

Pros

I consider this a great piece of software for keeping employees digital records organized and I believe it would unquestionably align our workflows if there were the ability to drag and drop files directly from my computer into an individual employee's record, additionally, it would be extremely helpful if, when the link to one or more documents changes, I could remove multiple documents at once instead of handling them one by one, because having to delete each file individually makes the whole procedure very time-consuming.

monitors and sends reminders!

Pros

Within our organisation, it allows us to monitor, evaluate and generate detailed reports which significantly aligns our HR workflows and because of the reminder feature we never miss licence renewals or mandatory training deadlines which is crucial for this company's operations, support has been responsive and helpful and on the whole I would recommend this solution to any small- to medium-sized business seeking HR software that is easy to deploy, manage and operate.

Easy to organize data by date

Pros

Overall, it is a useful application for keeping information, yet I would prefer if the way data is saved were organized a bit differently, specifically, when reviewing an individual employee's details, presenting the entries by date would make the tool considerably more helpful for audit trails and easier cross-referencing.

Clear and simple reporting

Pros

I find the interface exceptionally easy to use, enabling me to complete tasks quickly without a steep learning curve.

Cons

Having never needed to contact customer support, I've been able to navigate the product on my own since it is clear and simple, I particularly appreciate how easy the reporting capabilities are and because I only use it to track vacation and sick time, I consider it well worth the cost.

Affordable and user-friendly tool

Tracks trainings easily

Pros

As a user, I appreciate that it is one of the more affordable solutions available and I particularly value the feature that prompts us when trainings lapse which helps keep certifications current, additionally, I enjoy the multi-user capability because it allows different departments across the company to input their own data and the interface is genuinely user-friendly, while easy reports are simple to create, use and print and I also like that I don't necessarily have to open each employee's personal file just to locate basic information.

Cons

I faced multiple, separate issues while using the software, starting with the lack of any one-time training option which was a significant limitation for our needs, moreover, we were compelled to purchase the latest release because technical support insisted on only assisting customers on the most recent version and recurring program errors forced us to compress and send our database in a zip file to their team so we had to wait for them to repair it instead of being able to resolve the problem over the phone and on one occasion the technical adviser I spoke with was unable to resolve my concerns or provide satisfactory answers to my questions.
