“Simple, plus user-friendly front and back end
Pros
Both the front end and back end are very user-friendly and simple. The back-end programming of the rules makes sense and the learning curve is very minor as it requires minimal training time.
Cons
It would be ideal if payroll processing were integrated directly into SSC instead of using a third-party provider. As having everything in one place would allow employees to access their pay stubs directly within SSC.

“Easy to use but reporting needs work
Pros
It is easy to use but the main issue arises when we cannot figure out how to run a specific report. The support team often seems unsure as well.
Cons
The latest update requires page refreshes for certain users like management. Additionally having two mobile apps confuses staff and causes them to see the wrong calendar or schedule which is quite frustrating.

“Scheduling is easy but reporting is difficult
Pros
Integration is easy for scheduling but not as smooth for reports. However I like the wizard feature as it is excellent.
Cons
Reports can be a bit confusing, with so many options to click through. So I feel like it might help if the most frequently used reports were highlighted in a different color to make them easier to find.

“Transition was very smooth and hassle-free
Pros
The transition has been relatively smooth thanks to the training and customer service provided by your team.
Cons
Overall scheduling is easy but can be tricky especially when an employee is on vacation, LOA or working casually, as they don't show up on the weekly schedule. So it takes a bit of extra effort to manually of ours add them.

“Easy scheduling but needs auto AC codes
Pros
I like how simple it is to schedule especially with the active staffing requirements page. Also I like how the ECC app lets me copy and paste information within the schedules.
Cons
Well I wish that when shift exchange requests or giveaways are approved, an AC code is automatically added to the staff member's timecards. This would remind us when working on payroll or generating reports. Also I like how you can add a staff member to an available shift when approving someone's vacation or float request. However I wish the list of available staff members was longer. Staff would also like having a calendar view of their schedule in the app. Additionally it would be helpful if the active schedule showed all employees, even those with no scheduled shifts.

“Customer support is the best I've experienced
Pros
Well I really like the the color scheme and the fact that I can make changes easily is a big plus. The customer support is also incredible as it is fast and thorough.
Cons
We are in the process of upgrading so I am hopeful that the new software will be more user-friendly.

“Good customer service but too many punch rules
Pros
I love the customer service as they are always helpful and respond quickly.
Cons
There are too many rules in the system and if they are not entered precisely, it can affect punch-ins and punch-outs.

“Simplifies my workflow
Pros
With StaffScheduleCare I can view employee schedules be it daily, monthly or the master schedule, along with time banks, time cards and payroll. In short everything I need is right at my fingertips which saves me a lot of time.
Cons
One thing I noticed is that the time required to learn the new features when integrating a new version can be quite a lot.

“Loved it as it is the best
Pros
Setting up and using the software was pretty easy. When issues arise, the customer support team is the best I have ever experienced as they are quick, friendly and extremely helpful.
Cons
I have not noticed any issues with the software yet but I have only just started using it.

Pros
I am still in the process of learning the software even though I have been here for six months.
Cons
The software is not very user-friendly. Understanding the reports feels like learning a whole new language. Unfortunately there is no instruction manual for the process as we are only shown what's required. Employee data tracking is weak too and the screens overlap making it difficult to see all the information.
