“Unresponsive and stuck support!!

Pros

Filling out W-2 forms felt feasible and easy for me within the system. However I was frustrated that I couldn't submit them despite everything appearing correct and being charged in that situation felt disappointing.

Cons

Because it won't allow me to submit, I'm now behind and possibly late, there is absolutely no help via email or AI support and I can't get anyone to assist me so I remain stuck.

“Extremely unreliable and buggy system

Pros

Managing W-9 requests along with 1099 creation, submission and distribution has become much more convenient for me since I can handle everything from one centralized platform.

Cons

I find this system extremely unreliable and filled with bugs, in my experience it's the worst I've used and it keeps getting worse.

At first, I found it surprisingly simple to use.

What I thought would save me money turned out to be false. A UI problem forced me into paying for duplicate submissions. I watched a status sit unchanged for ten days while it looked like the issue was on their side yet they kept blaming the IRS. Customer support rarely responded. There was no sense of accountability. Support refused to process a refund for the UI-caused errors even after I sent video proof several times and still received no acknowledgement. The Modern interface was broken and made me buy new submissions because tapping edit opened a new form instead of editing, charging me again before I learned the Classic view worked correctly.

I'm really impressed by how feasible the interface is and that my documents are stored securely online.

Cons

So far I haven't found any problems when filing 1099 tax forms and I really like it.

From my experience this isn't modern technology, many of its workflows, templates and integrations feel dated and clunky compared with newer tools. Despite those antiquated elements, I've never had it fail, it's proven reliable over time and still supports current tax form issuance without issues.

Really simple to navigate. I knew nothing about submitting our annual because we always relied on an accountant before this year and honestly it only took me under 20 minutes to get all the filings done from the moment I began.

Signing up was super feasible, I could import templates easily and upload everything really quickly.

The service quality is excellent, the support team was helpful and I'm extremely satisfied with the overall experience.

For many years I've used this excellent 1099 tax platform and while I expected consistent benefits from my paid annual membership, they billed me for a year and I didn't receive any real advantages. They even emailed a 20% off coupon but when I tried to redeem it I was told it had already expired. That feels like misleading advertising to me.
