the interface is really simple and uncluttered, which makes it simple to use. Both managers and staff consistently report that the platform runs very efficiently.
Cons
Honestly, I can't think of anything negative right now. The development team did an excellent job setting everything up.

“Tracks all time & time off well
Pros
We can monitor when our staff clock in and out, plus manage PTO and holidays and generate reports from that information, it's also simple for team members who split their time across several sites.
Cons
I don't really have any complaints, it meets our needs without issues.

Overall, it's pretty simple to use and I receive solid support from GHG, who we work with.
Cons
Where I run into problems is when adding a new employee and getting the system to integrate smoothly with QuickBooks.

“best for all...needs better reports

From my side as an employee, clocking in and logging hours was fast and simple. On the admin end, I found creating users, setting up charge codes and overall configuration simple, so new admins could pick up the process quickly.
Cons
the reporting options are limited. Setting up user profiles for employees with overtime felt a bit clunky and the process for importing data into QuickBooks was awkward.

My team finds it simple to use, it reliably captures the hours employees enter and generates clean, comprehensive timesheets that clearly show all recorded time, edits and approvals.
Cons
I dislike that when leave is approved on or after the actual date, it fails to appear on the timesheets after approval which causes confusion and requires manual follow-up.

“Great detail tracker with company news
Pros
this tool is really simple to use, it records time exactly the way we need it and lets us split entries by customer, by project under a given customer and by corporate-level projects, while also handling different types of time off like holidays, vacation and sick leave. Plus, the News area is fantastic for sharing company-wide updates since not everyone checks email but everyone must enter their time, they will see whatever is posted there first. I consider this a highly useful feature, although I wish it were a little more powerful.
Cons
We rely on the News feature heavily but it really needs to be more robust it 'blows up' or fails on us when we include too many characters in a post which is frustrating because we use it all the time and consider it extremely valuable.

I really liked that I could assign specific codes to each employee, which ensured their time was charged accurately.
Cons
Although the initial setup required quite a bit of time, I appreciated that once it was finished, adding new employees became very easy.

I'm really impressed with the site's layout and how well everything is organized, the content is clear and thorough and finding what I need is simple.
Cons
It would be helpful to have a main home screen with quick links to frequently used apps so I can jump straight to what I need. For example, I always go to Supervisor first and then select 'view timesheets', so a customizable home screen that lets me click those options quickly would simplify my routine a bit. Overall, a small dashboard of shortcuts would save time and reduce clicks.

“Very flexible with great help
Pros
Clockwise is incredibly forgiving. With a bit of effort I can correct a lot of issues. The customer support team is excellent and knowledgeable when I reach out. We've seen very little downtime, which I appreciate.
Cons
I'm missing a clear timesheet approval status feature for our team. It would also be helpful if timesheet notes were visible to the end user but that's not an option right now. Because we oversee a large number of client: project combinations that each have different approval needs, it can't handle those variations for us. As a result I end up exporting the data and doing weekly Excel workarounds to track and update approval statuses for every project.
