good value and team learning

Pros

For the price, I got excellent value and it boosted our team's productivity, made tracking hours much easier and doubled as a really useful learning experience.

Cons

The screenshot monitoring felt pretty tedious and dull. I think there should be other options, because constantly taking screenshots wasn't very enjoyable.

Great schedule but needs more tools

Pros

Its really useful when I oversee rotating staff or have to coordinate front desk, cleaning teams and part-time helpers across multiple sites. The scheduling interface is interactive and automated timesheets cut down on manual tracking

Cons

However, I wish it supported room booking, customer messaging, or tenant coordination and features I consider essential for running a shared workspace.

Tracks hours well

Pros

I can easily keep track of my working hours, even the breaks.

Cons

Setting it up the very first time was aissue for me, it felt difficult and took a long time to configure everything.

Pros

works good for pay

Pros

One thing I appreciate is that I'm able to import employees' time directly into my payroll software. I also like being able to see when an employee edits or changes their timesheet.

Cons

The multiple timesheet feature could be more reliable, because it doesn't always work as expected and needs improvement. I also wish I could view timesheets one week at a time and get the totals for each week.

helpful but not efficient

Pros

What I like is how it links directly with our accounting software, so all we need to do is bring in the timesheets and payroll is ready to run right away. I'm also a fan of the archiving and document management tools and there are many other helpful features.

Cons

My biggest problem is that it doesn't show how many timesheets (i.e., employees) I'm about to import. I need that tally so I can confirm everything's prepared before importing it's crucial for my workflow. It would also be helpful if the system displayed the total hours being imported so I can verify the sums ahead of time.

best for our business needs

Pros

While the program comes loaded with a lot of capabilitiesmany of which we don't ever tapwe bought it mainly so our staff would have a simple, reliable way to record their work hours and categorize time by job. The entries are what we rely on to build payroll, bill our clients and satisfy audit documentation for cost-reimbursed contracts. In practice it has turned out to be an important and dependable resource that helps us meet all of those administrative and compliance needs.

Cons

I don't have any criticisms about the Clockwise features we currently use. Given my positive experience with the parts we rely on, I would expect that the other features would also meet my needs and leave me equally satisfied if we chose to use them.

simple but broken on some browsers

Pros

Its very friendly and easy to use, the site is always available, simple and dependable.

Cons

the app behaves oddly depending on which browser I use. The rows never align, which drives me nuts when I'm trying to track time. The GUI is rigid and makes reviewing timecards far more time-consuming than it should be. Whenever we've requested even small updates or improvements, nothing has been changed.

Easy to use with great support

Pros

the software is fairly simple to use and the technical support team has been absolutely fantastic.

Cons

It doesn't reliably track PTO or vacation time the way it's supposed to, so my team and I had to stop using it to manage our PTO/vacation records.

Great for clock-in and staff

Pros

I'm extremely grateful that you have joe on your customer support team, he's helped me use several difficult issues.

Cons

Affordable and simple to use

Pros

this solution is extremely affordable, simple to operate and simple to teach our staff how to use. The customer support team is exceptional, someone is consistently on hand and prepared to assist.

Cons

Moving data back and forth between our payroll and timekeeping platforms feels clunky. Manually adding each employee in both systems eats up a lot of time. I wish timesheets saved automatically.

Clever hour and mileage tracker

Pros

For my organization, I really appreciated how simple it is to monitor hours at the top of the timesheet while being able to allocate those hours across multiple programs lower down. I also appreciated that mileage can be billed directly within the timesheet and then exported into a spreadsheet for easy import into our payroll system. There's even a place to upload the actual mileage logs, so I had all the backup documentation right there attached to the timesheet, which made record-keeping and audits much less of aissue for our team.

Cons

During setup, figuring out the precise CSV or .text file layout that would import cleanly into our accounting software proved to be somewhat tricky. I found there was no magic export that came out flawless, so we ended up doing a bit of manual reformatting for the accounting imports. On the plus side, imports of leave and paystubs did work when sent back into Clockwise and after a couple of weeks everything settled down and required only minimal tweaks. One remaining annoyance for me is that, even though timesheets are bi-weekly, the system doesn't subtotal each individual week having weekly totals would have made calculating overtime much simpler.

Simple time logs but double entry

Pros

I find it really simple to log labor hours.

Cons

Project coding can be somewhat confusing because I'm required to enter information in two different modules but once I work through it, it becomes easy.

best for audit rules

Pros

I'm really pleased that the platform is DCAA/DCMA audit compliant, as it helps small businesses handle complex timekeeping regulations and ultimately secure a favorable audit outcome or an approved accounting system letter.

Cons

In my experience, the mobile app is more tailored to shift workers than to exempt employees and it lacks a Supervisor timecard view so managers can't easily review or approve workers' hours.

very smooth integration

Pros

What I appreciate are the integrations, I can connect it with other workplace apps which makes it easy to use effectively and the plug-and-play setup makes scheduling meetings and defining work hours simple.

Cons
