“Flexible candidate testing schedule
Pros
I appreciate that candidates are able to complete tests at times that suit their schedules and I find the library of pre-defined tests especially convenient to deploy.
Cons
For me, it's difficult to determine the optimal mix of test questions, as selecting the right combination can be challenging given the options available.

“Excellent for candidate testing
Pros
Platform's question bank and comprehensive test ecosystem are pretty great. I find the candidate management features and varied testing options, particularly useful for hiring workflows.
Cons
Regarding data and business intelligence topics, I found there weren't sufficient questions available, so I was compelled to create and insert them manually.

“Simple dev knowledge evaluation
Pros
I find it practical and easy and we are able to accurately gauge the level of developers' knowledge which makes the tool easy to understand and use.
Cons
As a small business owner operating with limited funds, I find the price excessively high and therefore difficult for us to justify despite the product's benefits.

“Customizable skill-specific tests
Pros
From my experience, I can tailor each assessment precisely to the specific skills I'm targeting and then relax while it handles everything else on my behalf, including test administration and automatic scoring.

“Variety of questions with timely notifications
Pros
Easy to use tool... I find the platform simple and easy to navigate, offering a broad selection of test questions, while also delivering timely notifications alongside swift result reporting.
Cons
Would really love it if this tool added new test questions more often. It would keep the question pool feeling fresh and up-to-date.

“Automated testing!
Pros
I appreciate that candidates can complete assessments at times that suit their schedules, along with the platform's automated test administration and scoring features.
Cons
As a test-taker, I found the interplay between time zones and the imposed time limits somewhat confusing and difficult to decipher.

“Prebuilt programming tests with debug tool
Pros
This tool stands out as remarkably easy to set up and use, offering an extensive library of ready-made tests across most programming languages and frameworks. It also provides a real-time debug/run tool to validate code as I write it, along with the flexibility to add my own questions, whether multiple-choice, programming, or custom formats.
Cons
From my perspective, because I've only employed this tool within the confines of online recruitment processes so far, I have not experienced any notable drawbacks or limitations with the software.

“massive time-saver with a great question library
Pros
The platform provides an extensive library of preloaded test questions that are neatly categorized by software stack which makes assembling role-specific assessments much faster and more consistent for me, because it performs automatic grading I don't have to be a developer to determine which applicants are qualified to advance in our hiring process, saving me time and reducing dependence on technical staff. In fact, since I began using this tool more than two years ago I have not hired anyone who lacked the requisite skills, a track record that gives me confidence in the screening process. Additionally, the system captures images during tests to discourage cheating which adds another layer of integrity to remote assessments.
Cons
Just a suggestion... I would like to see enhancements that add a hiring pipeline dashboard to better visualize candidate progress and align decision-making.

“Easy assessment creation
Pros
We appreciate how easy it is to set up and revise assessment materials and how effortlessly we can distribute those assessments to candidates which aligns our hiring workflow.
Cons
I find that, occasionally, I need to create my own questions because the test bank does not contain suitable items for the specific assessments we require.

“Simple test setup and email
Pros
I found that creating the tests and sending them by email to candidates was remarkably easy and the evaluations reliably separated the truly qualified applicants from those who were less suitable.
Cons
For improvements, I'd appreciate a greater number of brief, quick-to-solve questions so I can better evaluate a wider range of candidates' abilities.

“quick test setup saves interview time
Pros
For me, being able to create and configure an assessment for job candidates with such simplicity has been essential in eliminating unnecessary interviews and saving time.
Cons
I haven't found any problems to date and I successfully utilized the platform to hire for four separate roles.

“Large diverse library with flexible testing
Pros
For our recruitment process, I've relied on the platform's large and varied library of test questions combined with great candidate management features and I appreciate that it lets me design fully custom assessments, beyond that, there is a great deal of flexibility when constructing test sets, from choosing which questions to include and setting specific time limits per assessment to enabling online proctoring and other configurable options, and their customer support has been exemplary. The vendor continuously rolls out updates that add new languages, expand the question pool and remove questions when answers are discovered online and overall this solution has materially improved our hiring outcomes by serving as a valued component of our evaluation workflow.
Cons
That said, I have noticed the user interface can be less simple for certain tasks that seem obvious which sometimes causes confusion for candidates who must navigate the assessment structure, for instance, individual questions are timed separately and cannot be revisited and users are not able to view test details if an attempt fails which complicates troubleshooting. Moreover, from my perspective the pricing is on the higher side, especially if you only need a small package of tests.

“Customizable tests and pre-defined options
Pros
I value that the platform allows me to create fully customized tests while also providing a selection of ready-made, pre-defined assessments that I can choose from which gives me a lot of flexibility in how I evaluate users.
Cons
At this stage, I haven't found any features I dislike, since the software fulfills all of my requirements and operates exactly as I need it to, leaving me no complaints.

“Easy-to-use tool
Pros
Although I evaluate many platforms, what I appreciate most is how simple the product is to use and I find that it provides a generous number of tests spanning different technologies while also enabling me to handle candidates and their assessments with clear, efficient management tools and workflows.
Cons
I would like the candidate list to be sortable by date because currently the inability to order applicants chronologically complicates my review process and furthermore I would prefer the test allocation to be expressed as a monthly quota rather than a fixed number per plan, since I would accept a smaller amount if it renewed each month instead of being a one-time fixed pool of tests.

“quick mobile setup with automated scoring
Pros
From my smartphone browser, I could set up an account and have a test configured in a matter of minutes which made the whole process extremely convenient when recruiting on the go, sending those assessments to prospective hires and subsequently checking their scores proved easy and the platform's automated webcam photo proctoring feature provides excellent evidence that candidates are not receiving outside help. It was simple to add additional assessments to my dashboard and to tailor specific tests for individual applicants and the automated grading saved me substantial time when screening each new submission quickly.
Cons
Okay, this isn't really a complaint, because I get it, scoring complex Excel questions is tough for any system. There are always multiple right ways to do something, so the automated grading can sometimes feel a bit rough around the edges. But the good part is, it's easy for me to just open the workbook they submitted, check their work against the answer key myself and manually adjust the score whenever the system misses a correct but unusual method

“Finding good questions in the large library is tough
Pros
For me, it accomplishes the necessary tasks reliably, the user interface is simple and easy to navigate and the pricing is suitable for a small business.
Cons
I have trouble locating high-quality questions, the list is lengthy and it becomes time-consuming and tough to sift through all the items when assembling my online test.

“Helps with initial candidate screening
Pros
As a recruiter responsible for hiring, I find that it helps considerably with the initial screening of candidates, enabling me to quickly narrow down applicants before moving to more in-depth assessments.
Cons
That said, the set of built-in question templates is far too narrow for our needs and because we are a software company, we repeatedly failed to locate questions or templates covering many of the specific technologies and frameworks that we rely on.

“Track deadlines and results easily
Pros
Someone who uses this all the time, I find the interface really smooth for keeping track of test deadlines and checking results. I also love that we have unlimited accounts it makes it so easy to share the work and delegate roles within my team.
Cons
However, I have found several issues, many of the question banks are not current across all the technical stacks I use, the configuration options feel fairly limited, the plagiarism detection is inadequate and I would prefer if the remaining test credits were displayed prominently on the main dashboard so I can more easily keep track of how many assessments I have left.

“Validates technical and real-life skills
Pros
For validating technical skills and practical, real-world experience in digital positions I have increasingly relied on structured assessment questions, because they allow me to more rapidly identify appropriate candidates compared with sifting through resumes that fail to capture the whole picture and I have found this tool particularly useful in this regard.
Cons
I would appreciate a brief FAQ outlining how to navigate and use the platform, since providing that guidance could significantly lower the volume of support inquiries that candidates currently submit.

“Broad test coverage!
Pros
We've used this platform to screen candidates across a wide spectrum of roles, e.g. product designers, quant developers, software developers, etc and test breadth is truly excellent.
Cons
While I find the UX good, it can be improved, for example, when I create test by adding questions I must leave the questions section and go back one page to check total test time.
