“fast team setup and easy to use
Pros
As the recruiting team, we evaluated, tailored, deployed and started using this tool in just a couple of hours and we found the platform remarkably easy and user-friendly.
Cons
I would like to see a larger selection of object-oriented C++ questions available for our assessments, since the current inventory feels too limited for our needs.

“User-friendly interface
Pros
I appreciate the easy interface and I find the question banks to be reasonably large while the platform also offers online proctoring capabilities.
Cons
Id like to see a greater number of technical questions specifically focused on Quality Assurance.

“On-demand tests save recruiting budget
Pros
On-demand approach particularly valuable because it allows me to conserve budget when recruiting developers, giving my team the flexibility to scale talent up or down without committing to long-term hires.
Cons
From my perspective, the exercise validation conditions are not exposed in a technical implementation view which prevents me from seeing how the checks are performed and complicates troubleshooting and integration efforts.

“instantly ranks developer candidates
Pros
We have drastically reduced the time our interview panel spends when sourcing new developers, whether for permanent roles or contractors and it gives us an immediate sense of where any applicant ranks relative to the pool of other candidates
Cons
No comment. I love using the product when recruiting new candidates.

“Time-saving preselection with easy setup
Pros
By adopting this platform I've managed to cut down significantly on the time I spend preselecting candidates, since its assessments are excellent and the initial setup is easy and hassle-free.
Cons
The visual interface could be much improved and I'd welcome a more polished GUI as well as native support to use VS Code as an embedded editor similar to how GitHub integrates it.

“Flexible credit purchase
Pros
Cost was one of the decisive factors for us, given that we have no plan to acquire credits in large quantities, so we appreciated that it permits us to buy credits in smaller bundles which suits our needs even though it results in a higher price per credit. Moreover, the platform's easy administrative workflow combined with responsive customer support has made running remote assessments remarkably simple and whereas previously we used to bring candidates into our offices to sit for tests, the constraints imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic necessitated that we move that process onto this tool.
Cons
I feel that the pre-test administrative guidance could be made more explicit because several of our applicants appeared to be confused about the expectations, for example they did not realize that the timer shown applies to each individual question rather than representing the total time allowed for the whole assessment and as a result they struggled with pacing themselves appropriately during the test.

“Cost-effective tool
Pros
Although I'm budget-conscious, I appreciate the low cost, the cloud-managed setup, how easy it is for me to invite candidates and the ability to review a detailed history of their tests.
Cons
Not a con but I often struggle with the interface when trying to locate candidates who haven't completed tests which makes filtering them tough and time-consuming.

“Limited customization
Pros
For my needs, I appreciate the level of customization offered and the clear proctoring confirmations, since these features let me tailor settings and verify exam monitoring efficiently.
Cons
However, I'm frustrated that I cannot modify our company templates or embed our logo and branding designs into invitation messages, nor can I connect the platform to the other systems we use through integrations which significantly limits how professional and cohesive our communications appear.

“All expected features available
Pros
I've discovered that the platform encompasses every feature I expected and the accompanying test questions are thoughtfully constructed and highly effective for accurately assessing users knowledge.
Cons
At this stage my team and I remain satisfied with the software's functionality and user experience and consequently we have not identified any disadvantages or problems worth reporting.

“interactive questions with real-time evaluation
Pros
From my experience, the collection of relevant, interactive questions to choose from is incredibly useful and I especially value the capability to watch a candidate work through those problems with live compilation coupled with immediate unit-test evaluation as they progress, overall, I feel you've done a fantastic job creating software geared toward assessing software developers.
Cons
I can't think of any major negatives off the top of my head, although there may be occasional bugs when it comes to tracking a candidate's progression within a single question but I'm confident your team is aware of these issues and is working to resolve them.

“Unlimited user management
Pros
Great tool... I appreciate that the platform allows unlimited managerial accounts, so my team can grow without license headaches and I only incur costs for what I actually need since charges apply solely to the tests taken, additionally, I find the interface easy to navigate and inviting candidates is a quick, hassle-free process.
Cons
The GUI isn't particularly attractive which I find disappointing, the pool of ready-made questions is quite limited so we end up having to author many more ourselves and there are only a handful of configuration settings to tailor notification behavior, while user management also lacks any departmental hierarchy that would help us organize roles more effectively.

“Instructions unclear and inconsistent test cases
Pros
I found the interface arrangement to be acceptable and I could navigate to the site without difficulty.
Cons
In my experience, a number of the instructions are ambiguous or appear fragmented on the display which makes following them difficult, further complicating matters, the system frequently reports that an answer is correct even though it ultimately fails due to their hidden test cases. When I contacted support about this discrepancy they insisted that they do not rely on 'test cases', yet their own interface shows evidence to the contrary and to this day support has been unable to clarify the origin of those tests which are not documented in the question specifications across the board.
