“Works fine for me

Pros

Textio has become my go to tool all day long. Since I work in HR I am constantly posting hiring content across different job boards and emails and Textio makes editing those documents so much easier. The Textio Score tool is especially helpful because it lets me see how my writing stacks up against my colleagues.

Cons

There is really nothing in particular that I dislike about it.

“Awesome for recruiting

Pros

I am a big fan of the scoring feature because it keeps pushing me to keep leveling up my job posts instead of just settling for good enough.

Cons

Sometimes deleting stuff can be tricky as it feels like some things are hard coded by the employer and even though our internal recruiting team does not force us to use it, occasionally posts end up with duplicate boilerplates.

“Simple to use

Pros

It was quite simple to get started with and I find the interface is clean and really easy to move around in.

Cons

Honestly I did not really have any major complaints about it. Maybe it is a little too picky about verb choices sometimes but that's about it nothing too serious.

“Helped us level up our job postings big time

Pros

Textio helps make our job posts way more engaging and lets us connect better with our target audience. Also I love that it balances masculine and feminine language in job descriptions so we can be more fair to everyone applying.

Cons

It adds another layer on top of our ATS but it is totally worth it. I just wish the integration between the two was a bit smoother.

“Perfect tool

Pros

I really like how it helps make job descriptions sound more attractive to candidates and shows exactly where hidden biases might be sneaking into the wording.

Cons

The price feels a little steep considering how many job descriptions we actually use it for.

“Simply love it

Pros

When I first heard about Textio I was not totally convinced it would be effective but once I started using it, it really surprised me. Also it is very easy to navigate. One thing I love is how it shows real-time stats like audience insights, grammar tips, typography and more while I am writing. Plus it suggests words and rates their strength so you are never stuck staring at a blank page. Overall my experience has been great and I totally agree with their motto"the words reveal you."

Cons

Even though my experience has been really good overall I should mention that when I first started using it English was the only language option available which felt a bit limiting at the time.

“Not recommended

Pros

I really like how the platform is organized visually and how it uses augmented writing to help me create job posts that bring in more qualified and diverse candidates.

Cons

The settings section where it says things like be true or a linguist's dream is kind of funny because that is actually what it feels like.

“Had a really great time using it

Pros

It is honestly quite simple and incredibly easy for me to use without any hassle.

Cons

Not a lot of people around me use it so I do not get to take full advantage of it as much as I like.

Pros

Not only is it pretty useful but really accurate and has helped streamline everything I do. In short it makes the whole process feel so simple.

Cons

Nothing major. Yes it has got a few small flaws but nothing that really bothers me.
