“Ideal for anyone looking for mentorship
Pros
Torch is the best for our organization's mentorship program. Also it helps track participants, guides both mentors and mentees and the profile matching system is a brilliant feature ensuring everyone gets paired with the right mentor for their journey.
Cons
Honestly I have not faced any issues. Whenever I have faced technical hiccups, the support team has been quick to resolve them. So thank you.

“Professional coaches who are responsive and great
Pros
I am really happy with my Customer Support team. They are professional, responsive and easy to work with. As a company I can see they are always looking for ways to improve processes and better serve their clients. Also the coaches are top notch and the feedback from my organization's participants is overwhelmingly positive.
Cons
Well I have been using it for a few years now. And while I was not initially impressed with their interface, I am happy to report that they have made significant improvements in reporting and making the platform easier to use both for admins and participants/coachees.

Pros
The user experience is fantastic. From the moment I logged in, I was impressed by how user friendly everything was. The design is modern yet simple making it easy for coachees to navigate. And the best part is how flexible the software is. Plus organizations can customize it to fit their specific goals and culture. Whether you are managing a large group or individual sessions, Torch adjusts to your needs. The reports and analytics it provides are quite helpful for assessing the effectiveness of coaching programs. Lastly the customer service is amazing too as they are always quick, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful.
Cons
Even with all its features, keeping users engaged has been a bit of a challenge. And at times the platform can feel a bit static to me and without frequent prompts or interactive features, it can be hard for everyone to keep the energy up.

Pros
We love using the Torch platform to support our mentoring program. It is a perfect fit for our small HR team as it makes it easy for us to run a strong mentoring program without much of problem.

Torch is such an awesome resource for our staff. All our managers get to take advantage of it throughout their time with us and we always hear nothing but positive feedback about the platform, the coaches and the growth our employees experience. Also it is simple, smooth and everyone loves it!
Cons
Just one wish that we could able to purchase it as a company wide tool rather than being limited to a set number of seats.

Pros
It has proven to be an excellent resource for our mid level leaders. They are paired with coaches who really understand their strengths and areas for growth helping them develop and mentor their team members properly.
Cons
The reporting could be clearer from an admin perspective but there is reporting available and I do feel like I can monitor how teams are doing without being too intrusive. Also I can see their progress without digging into the specifics of their coaching which was exactly what we wanted.

Torch is truly a strategic partner. They help us design programs that really deliver a return on investment. Their coaches customize the coaching to meet the exact needs of participants, filling in performance gaps.
Cons
Sometimes the platform can be a bit clunky and I am not a fan of how it does not sync well with our other programs.

I must say the team at Torch is simply the best to work with. As from assessing our needs and setting up the contract to supporting us with enrolling coachees and navigating the coaching process, they done it all for us. Overall it has made everything easy and we have never been let down. The feedback from our initial coachees has been overwhelmingly positive.

We love partnering with their team. From the sales process onward we felt comfortable and connected with everyone. They go above and beyond to ensure we have a great experience and are always accommodating. We have regular check-ins, with action items followed up on quickly. Also we have even tapped into their behavioral science team for valuable insights and they are always open to hearing our ideas for product improvements.
Cons
This is not so much a personal dislike but I have heard from some participants that they wish they could have an interview or quick chat with their coach before selecting them. Also at times it is hard to get a real sense of the coach just from their profile. And from an admin standpoint my only issue is the manual effort needed to ensure participants are staying active and completing tasks on time though this can vary depending on the company.

As an admin I really appreciate how easy it is to track participant engagement and filter data by team, individual or number of meetings held.
Cons
From a participant's perspective, the UI can be a bit confusing especially during onboarding. Also there are quite a few steps and it is not always clear what is mandatory, what is optional or what comes first. Also since I have participants in two different regions, I wish I could separate the data by region so I only see US-specific participant information.

Pros
When I first joined Torch I really appreciated being asked about my expectations for coaching and why I thought I needed it. Also I liked being able to choose from a selection of coaches based on the type of coaching I would benefit from whether I needed something more assertive or advisory. This helped me make a well informed decision. Plus it has been a huge help in my personal and professional growth, especially in becoming a more assertive leader. The system is easy to use and my account team at Torch is amazing. They are very supportive too and always go the extra mile. I am really grateful for everything they have done for me and my organization.
Cons
I have not found any downsides to using it, as it is an amazing tool for any business.

Well the thing I like the most about it is that the learner has full control of their learning journey. They get a clear, simple overview of what to accomplish and there is even a leaderboard that adds a fun, competitive element to keep people motivated to keep coming back.
Cons
The learning feels too linear as you complete one step then move to the next. Also it does not always match how learning happens on the job. Plus I feel like the dashboards could be a bit more user friendly for end users as they mainly just see the leaderboard.

The 360 review process was fine though I find nothing too impressive.

Honestly I am not sure what there is to like. You would probably be better off finding your own coach rather than using Torch. I was recommended Torch by another founder but the experience has been disappointing. After they merged with Everwise, the service seems to have gone downhill. After signing up, you are kind of left on your own. And for the price I expected more. No one from customer success reached out to help me onboard and the coach matching process was poor. Also you only get four options with very little info and you do not get to meet the coaches first. You pick one based on very little information and that is it. In real life most coaches offer a free first session but not with Torch. I would have preferred the chance to interview a few coaches first. It seems like this was possible before but now it is not. The coach I ended up with was not a good fit too and I was really disappointed with the whole onboarding process.

I love the UX design. Plus logging in for the first time felt like magic as everything I needed was easy to find and use and it did not feel like I was a first time user at all.
Cons
Well I really hope Everwise grows as a company. It has given me a lot and I have nothing bad to say about it. I wish you all the best. However it is mostly designed for professional networking but that is not how it is often used. Maybe that is something to consider for future updates.

Cons
Nothing to report right now though I feel like better integration with ATS systems and tools like Kronos would be a nice improvement.
