Easy to use customer portal and helpful staff

Pros

The customer portal is simple and easy to navigate. I also like the step by step email guidance throughout the relocation process. UrbanBounds customer support is outstanding and top-notch.

Cons

I have not encountered any negative aspects with UrbanBound. Everything seems to be working well.

amazing partnership and support

Pros

One thing UrbanBound really excels at is building strong relationships. I have heard over and over from employees that their UB Partner was absolutely fantastic. On top of that our recruiting team genuinely enjoys working with the UrbanBound internal team. It's honestly the best meeting of the quarter for us!

Cons

We've had some challenges when it comes to moving employees into and out of remote areas but they are actively working on improving that.

Very thoughtful updates

Pros

Working with the team behind this software has been a really positive experience. They are professional, committed and genuinely attentive to what their clients need. I also like that they listen to feedback and actively make improvements based on it. Overall it's been a pleasure collaborating with them.

Cons

Because this is software-based, it's naturally limited by existing specifications so requested changes cannot always happen right away and may require development updates that take months to roll out. That said the changes I needed were taken seriously right away and the team quickly put together a plan to implement them.

Simple tracking and decent support

Pros

UrbanBound software is easy to use. Plus the interface is clean and simple and it does a good job of tracking employees throughout the process. Their team also stays in close contact especially when there are budget updates or delays during the move which has been very helpful.

Cons

I haven't run into any issues with it so far.

time saving and user friendly

Pros

It is simple and the customer support has been excellent. Overall it saves a lot of time.

Cons

There really isn't much to complain about. The only thing I'd like to see improved is an easier way to search for employees but aside from that it's been excellent.

Proven the best for us!

Pros

UrbanBound has been a real game changer for our program. It lets us offer a lump sum, core benefits such as housing and travel and a flexible managed lump-sum option. The platform provides a clear way to estimate costs, keeping our Finance team and business partners happy while still giving relocating employees and new hires ample flexibility. We also use it for new college graduates and people who only get a lump sum. Before this tool, that group would receive a small lump sum and travel costs without any real support. With a relatively small investment, they now get relocation guidance, advice on how to make the most of their lump sum and access to a strong network of service providers through UB. Another thing that works very well is that the product fits employees at all levels and with different communication styles. Some people are happy handling everything through the software, while others prefer working with a relocation consultant. It does not feel like a one size fits all solution.

Cons

At the beginning there were a few features we felt UB was missing. That said they took the time to understand not just what our program needed but also how those additions could help other clients and they have since built in the functionality we asked for.

relocation support that delivers

Pros

From an administrative standpoint UrbanBound takes very little effort to manage. Everyone supporting our account has been highly responsive and has done an excellent job championing our policy. On top of that strong service, the team regularly shares program performance updates, offers thoughtful recommendations and handles execution for our company. I could honestly list dozens of wonderful things about working with it for our relocation services.

Cons

The one drawback is the reporting functionality. That said whenever there's something I am unable to pull on my own, our account rep gets it to me incredibly fast.

fantastic support always!

Pros

The platform is very user-friendly and the customer service and account management teams have been excellent. Whenever questions come up, they respond quickly and are always helpful.

Cons

Reporting for active licenses could be better but it still gets the job done.

Pros

The software is very easy to use and more importantly, it leaves a strong impression on employees who are being relocated. It helps our company come across as organized, professional and very well put together.

Cons

Based on your company's specific needs, the kinds of employees you're relocating and how frequently moves happen, the initial setup can take a little more time while getting all the policies properly configured.
