Supportive communication.. no complaints

Pros

I always feel genuinely supported by the company as they've consistently welcomed me with clear and thoughtful communication which I really appreciate. Whether it's onboarding, updates or just checking in, they make sure I never feel left in the dark. It's rare to find that level of care and consistency.

Cons

I have NOT had any negative experiences with the company. I feel like I have plenty of opportunities and the team does a great job of making that clear.

Quick solutions & great service

Pros

The speed at which things get solved is what stands out most about Velocity's work....they absolutely nail it every single time. Issues are addressed almost instantly and nothing drags on longer than it should. It's that kind of reliability and efficiency that makes all the difference.

Cons

They don't reach out much except by email but that's fine since the communication is clear when they do.

smooth onboarding

Pros

What I really liked was how quick and easy it was to request information. Plus Tatia was amazing in helping me with all my questions. During onboarding she explained everything I needed to know about my direct benefits.

Cons

So far I have not had a bad experience. Everything's been smooth and I am happy with how things are going.

very quick responses

Pros

I like that their response time to any queries is super fast. The whole team (BR - Carolina, Marina andreia) is incredible...so helpful, respectful and friendly. They always resolve issues quickly.

Cons

Honestly nothing to dislike so far. Everyone has been great and everything has worked as expected.

User-friendly & proactive support

Pros

Most of the services from it are very easy and user friendly. Reimbursements for equipment and other expenses are processed fast and the company keeps us updated regularly. The staff especially Customer Support is always proactive and friendly. I also use the payslip visualization system a lot and it works perfectly.

Cons

My main issue with it is their Health Care system. The insurance is very centralized in Sao Paulo which makes it challenging for employees in other areas. Mediservice is an option but the coverage is limited, the information provided (like the site list) is outdated and using it can be really frustrating. I wouldn't recommend their Health Care providers, Care Plus and Mediservice, to anyone. It would be great if it offered more health care provider options for employees outside of Sao Paulo. Also when employees suggest improvements, it feels like their concerns are brushed off and the company just emphasizes the advantages of the current provider instead of addressing the issues.

good communication and easy to use

Pros

Communication with Maria is always great. I like how it keeps us informed about all the changes and they have regular meetings to review everything. Their platform is simple and useful for checking payslips and other things. They always respond quickly when I need documentation or any paperwork.

Cons

Okta SSO can be messy especially when trying to review something on your mobile. I think it could improve the mobile experience and offer a better way to review things on your phone.

Responsive HR but missing benefits

Pros

Their HR team is super responsive to any inquiries I have. Their responses are always clear, concise and they get back to me quickly.

Cons

One downside for me is the lack of employee benefits like gym memberships or discounts. It would be nice to have those perks.

easy onboarding with minor website bugs

Pros

Since I've never worked with an Employer of Record company before I can't compare but I am pretty sure no one does it better than them. My onboarding was smooth and easy and They have been there for me every step of the way which was exactly what I needed when I first started.

Cons

There is really nothing negative to say. If I had to mention something, I'd say their website can be a little buggy sometimes but it's not a huge deal.

multi-manager process is confusing

Pros

The way to open tickets through email is really easy. Sometimes the platform is inconvenient but emailing is pretty easy.

Cons

Sometimes dealing with "three managers" can be confusing. The processes are a bit tricky to understand because you have to report to a partner through it rather than directly. It can be a little frustrating.

Reliable and efficient support

Pros

What I like most about them is their availability, reliability and openness to feedback. They are always there when I need assistance and I can count on them to respond quickly and efficiently.

Cons

There's not much to add here. An outsourcing company like it is supposed to help maintain a professional relationship between the parent company and the employee while staying out of the way. I think Velocity does that well.

Quick support but benefits lack communication

Pros

Customer support team is super responsive and always ready to help with any questions or issues I have.

Cons

Although it's unrelated to their excellent customer support I think it could improve their benefits. A big issue this year was the unexpected reduction in our health insurance coverage and it was not communicated well. Our own company, Parrot Analytics, didn't even know about the change. There's also concern that the benefits are losing value over time especially since other companies are offering more competitive and comprehensive packages. Clearer communication and better benefits would definitely help.

best support with regional challenges

Pros

The team is always prompt with their responses and I really appreciate that. It makes communication smooth and helps everything move along quickly without delays.

Cons

The only downside is that everything is remote and some laws (like holidays) only apply in Sao Paulo even though they hire all over the country. It's a challenge for people outside Sao Paulo.

loved support but slow external processes

Pros

What i appreciate about this tool is the personalized and efficient support from the HR team in Brazil. They're quick to respond, usually in just over an hour and really show they care about customer satisfaction. Team members like Carolina, Marina and Andreia handle everything professionally and with attention to detail. Whether it's solving issues, managing documents or following up, their service stands out.

Cons

What I find challenging about it is that some processes with external partners can take longer than expected. While the internal HR team is great with quick responses, the external partner process can feel slower. Plus there are sometimes region-specific complexities that would benefit from more proactive updates to keep clients in the loop.

Excellent HR support

Pros

HR team is really quick and efficient at responding to everything. The way they treat employees at Velocity Global is warm and respectful. Any support or resolutions are fast and well-handled, no matter the issue. In less than 24 hours, I get all the answers I need. I've never had any issues with payments, holidays or other HR matters. The employees always keep us updated with comms and newsletters about pay, holidays and government info.

Cons

There are no downsides to Velocity Global's services. Everything has been great for me.

It's super easy to integrate with external companies which is a huge plus.

Friendly support and healthcare needs improvement

Pros

They respond super quickly and are always so polite which makes working with them a pleasure. It's refreshing to get such friendly and efficient support every time.

Cons

Overall I think it does a great job. However I think the health care they choose could be better. The coverage is not broad enough in smaller cities, the reimbursement process is too complicated and the amount reimbursed is pretty low.

Clean interface but login process needs work

Pros

I have been using the app for a while now and overall, it's been great. The site is easy to use with a clean interface and most features are simple to use, even for someone who's not super tech-savvy. It's not something I need all the time but when I do, it works efficiently. It makes submitting expenses and booking vacations super easy. Overall I like it.

Cons

The login authentication process can be wonky. Sometimes it does not work smoothly which can be annoying.

very smooth services

Pros

My experience with it was smooth and quick. The way the company is structured makes communication clear and the whole process simple. It focuses on being agile and simple which is so important today. The integration with the team was easy and proactive from the start. Employee support is always clear and I've noticed that questions are answered quickly which is great. I highly recommend it. My experience was awesome and I think it's because of their efficient and thorough structure.

Cons

In my experience with Velocity everything has been pretty smooth. I have not faced any major issues and am really happy with the service so far.

Pros

friendly support but health plan setup issues

Pros

Everyone is super accessible, friendly and helpful. The computer systems are easy to use which made me feel right at home.

Cons

The health plan was difficult to use outside Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and the reimbursements for visits to out-of-network doctors were really low. It could be improved for people in other locations.

Smooth process and great experience

Pros

My process was clear and simple. I got the offer and started working less than two weeks later. Marina, who's in charge of me has been there since day one, helping me and clearing up any doubts. I'd definitely recommend Velocity Global.

Attentive team... could use more details

Pros

Team in Brazil is very attentive and always responds quickly. They are always willing to clear up any doubts and support me with anything I need.

Cons

Top notch software so far

Pros

I really like that it responds to my questions in a very short period of time. The best part is that their answers are very easy which makes everything so much easier to understand and act on quickly.

Cons

It could definitely find better third parties for things like meal vouchers, health insurance and other benefits. The current options just don't feel like the best fit.

Loved their team seriouslyy..

Pros

The customer support team is amazing...they are so fast. Whenever I submit a ticket, it's usually solved in just a few minutes which is awesome and saves me so much time.

Cons

platform needs work

Pros

The local team in Brazil is always so on point with their answers. They give me accurate information every time and they always respond in a timely manner which really helps me keep everything on track.

Cons
