“My fast, simple payroll helper

It is fast and simple to use and it really cuts down the time I spend on payroll. It also makes it much simpler when I need to backtrack to find an employee's hours. The support team has been fantastic to work with and incredibly helpful.

Honestly, I can't think of any drawback, I have nothing but good things to say about this app.

I find it super simple to clock in and out with Vericlock and whenever I need time off, I can request it straight through the app without any issue.

I have to keep my phone's GPS switched on the whole time I use the app and that constant location tracking really makes my battery run down much faster than normal.

I do not really have any drawbacks to report, the only minor issue I've noticed is the tracking which could be a bit more accurate, though that's largely a limitation of my phone rather than the app itself.

Using it feels very simple and easy to learn, so I can start working without much setup. Their customer service has been really helpful whenever I've needed assistance. I love the way reports are displayed, the visuals and layout make the data simple to understand.

It is really simple and it reliably handles my everyday tasks, I especially appreciate that reports can be tailored to my needs, and the IT and customer support teams have been incredibly responsive and supportive.

It's simple to operate, both for administrators and staff. For the user there's essentially one button to hit to clock in and another to press to clock out, making it easy. I find the admin side packed with features that can feel overwhelming but the support during setup and ongoing is excellent. They even customize reports so I can upload them into my payroll software for my business.

Cons

I've noticed the GPS location can be a little off. I don't blame them, in my experience it's usually the user's phone or poor cellular service overall.

Clocking in and out has honestly never been easier for us. I can use an app, a phone call or just go online and everyone's hours are captured without issue. My team stopped having problems with timesheets because everything is automatically recorded now. The QuickBooks integration has been a game-changer and it cuts down the admin work since we no longer have to manually enter each employee's time. Also, the support team replies quickly and guided me through the initial setup.

At the start I found it a little frustrating to get my head around how the program works and there was a learning curve. After spending some time using it, though, I discovered it's actually very simple and fast to operate.

It's simple enough for every team member to use, the app uploads quickly and feels interactive to use. I find it very cost-effective and scalable. The GPS tracking lets me see profit per job clearly. I also like that the reporting tools are simple to customize.

I'd really like this software to include a built-in scheduling feature and to be able to sync directly with our payroll system.

“Saves time & gives me confidence

Pros

Switching from chasing staff to hand in paper timesheets to this system has been transformative for us. Beyond giving me confidence that people aren't fudging their hours, it also lets us export the tracked time straight into QuickBooks. That saves me an enormous amount of time and frees me up to focus on other priorities.

Cons

I do notice the location tracking can be off at times even with location services enabled on the phones, but those inaccuracies are relatively infrequent so they haven't been a major issue for us.

I have the app on my phone and the website is great and fast on my computer. Final reports look excellent and their customer service is always quick and friendly.

As a restaurant owner, I don't have the time for a five-step setup. I really did try to get it to work for us. We operate 3 restaurants with different managers. While I managed to convince staff to use it, the managers struggled to quickly access the detailed reports.

I have some employees who refuse to enter payroll electronically or use their phones for it, and that resistance makes it hard for everyone involved to use it effectively.

this has been an excellent way to monitor employees and be sure they actually went to the locations they reported. It really gives me peace of mind.

Because I'm running a small company that's only getting off the ground, the cost ended up being more than I could justify, furthermore the fees would jump dramatically as I added more staff which made it unsustainable for me financially. I really liked how the software worked, I just wish it had been offered at a price point I could afford.

I am finding it really simple to use, super simple to install. There's a helpful chat support option and they generally reply back fairly quickly.

What bothers me most is that it only performs front-page calculations on a weekly schedule and there's absolutely no way for me to customize its behavior.
