poor implementation experience

Pros

There's absolutely nothing worthwhile for me to highlight here, this remains the most disheartening HRIS deployment I've come accrosss in my professional life.

Cons

I am profoundly dissatisfied with the whole engagement, beginning with the project implementation team and extending through to the final software delivery, because what was promised bore little resemblance to what was actually executed. During initial discussions with the sales representatives (Zing), we were presented with an excessively polished, upbeat demonstration that painted an overly flattering picture and consequently elevated our expectations to a level that the implementation and product could not possibly meet. In practice, the rollout was managed ineptly, lacking both substantive technical competence and a genuine understanding of the domain which resulted in a process that felt hurried and superficial and showed scant respect for our stated requirements or agreed timelines. The product itself appears antiquated and underdeveloped, honestly resembling something that might emerge from a student project rather than from an established technology vendor and this is reflected in a tough UI/UX and functionality that seems only partially implemented. Given that the overall experience falls well short of reasonable enterprise standards, I find it difficult to endorse or continue with this platform unless there is a comprehensive and rapid overhaul of both the product and the support services.

Full HR modules but outdated UI

Pros

The software's functionality impresses me, as it consistently includes all the HR modules my team needs for daily operations.

Cons

My main frustration is that the user interface feels very outdated and is neither simple nor easy to navigate which slows me down.

Quick access to HR records

Pros

One thing I rely on is the ability to check attendance, access HR support materials and retrieve complete payroll files, payslips, salary letters and more, whenever I need them.

Cons

Occasionally when I attempt to regularize my attendance the process runs very slowly and fails to finish the request, after two or three attempts it finally succeeds.

easy setup with good design

Pros

Setup and implementation were easy for me and I genuinely appreciate the thoughtful feature set and attractive design.

Cons

While it did demand a bit of training to get fully comfortable, I still find myself missing certain capabilities that I used to rely on in Bob.

Easy attendance with travel integration

Pros

As a daily user, I find the interface exceptionally easy for monitoring attendance, logging leave and calculating working hours and its integration with travel expense management sets it apart from other solutions.

Cons

There are occasions when the app becomes very laggy and in my experience that often causes multiple 'punch in' records to be created for the same attendance event, although once performance settles the problem typically goes away.

Inflexible and unfair 3-day regularization limit

Pros

A feature I value is the ability to regularize an absence simply by submitting a request to my manager, which aligns the process.

Cons

Personally, the biggest drawback I face is that if I do not regularize an absence within three days, I am no longer allowed to do so which feels unfair because while we are working I might not notice or check this tool immediately and therefore should have more flexibility to correct the record.

synced data with lag problems

Pros

What benefits me most is how the application gathers and synchronizes all data, consolidating every entry made during shifts so I can verify, update and use information independently without needing senior-level assistance.

Cons

However, I frequently experience lag, particularly when punching in and out and there is no easy recovery process if I forget my password, as a result, I become anxious and find myself compelled to write down my credentials every time I change them because occasionally my account gets locked.

punch-in tracking failures

Pros

This tool is extremely useful for me because my salary is credited based on the attendance records, giving full transparency into everyone's attendance patterns.

Cons

In my experience, the system sometimes suddenly refuses to record punch-ins and punch-outs which interrupts time tracking and causes frustration until it is restarted or fixed.

Delay implementation!!

Pros

Nothing appeals to me about this system, especially after the sales cycle filled with false promises and misleading claims that left me feeling deceived.

Cons

After more than three months of engagement, I still don't have a finished implementation because the team has repeatedly failed to deliver on commitments made during sales and the implementation group offers no meaningful assistance, repeatedly dismissing every request as 'not a standard requirement', even after I escalated the matter to the CEO, my emails remain unanswered, leaving me without resolution or support.

clean interface with instant approvals

Pros

The application feels remarkably simple for me to operate, with a clean and sharp interface, I also appreciate that notifications arrive instantly and leave requests are approved without delay.

Cons

While I acknowledge its benefits, in my experience the program depends heavily on having a very fast, stable internet connection and I have noticed that the compensatory offs it creates do not always get refreshed as they should.

Extremely user-friendly and feature-rich

Pros

As someone who uses it daily within our company, I find the platform extremely user-friendly and equipped with virtually every option required to support our business's structure and functional needs and because it is cloud-based we can access all modules remotely from any device, employees themselves are able to view and download their payslips, review IT declarations and other personal details and even submit leave requests directly through the same interface which aligns HR processes considerably.

Cons

However, I have noticed performance issues at times, because pages can take an excessive amount of time to reload or to transition when navigating between sections and login can also be slow on occasion, so I often have to wait for several moments after signing in before I can continue working.

delayed integration progress

outdated UI usability concerns

Pros

When I moved from another HRMS to ubiRecruit a few months back and subscribed to most of its modules, the decision worked out really well for me. It covers everything from hiring to exit, follows Indian HR processes closely and feels easy to use. The mobile app helps me file claims and handle small tasks on the go and the pricing fits small and mid-sized businesses nicely.

Cons

I find the user interface rather lacking and believe it could benefit from a substantial redesign, because a complete overhaul of the UI would greatly enhance usability and make the system far more simple for end users, improving adoption and day-to-day efficiency.

smooth integration module support

Pros

The integration worked smoothly for me with the systems we already rely on, especially attendance and I also get leave and expense management support. I can enable or shift the payroll module whenever it's required.

Cons

Our expectation is that customization options should be made more readily available through customer support channels and completing expense reports would become significantly more user-friendly if there were features to reuse previous expense entries and similar conveniences.

workflow and reporting gaps

Pros

Getting started was simple on my side and I like how clean the interface looks. Attendance tracking has been reliable for me and having expense management with approval flows is useful. The overall workflows stay easy to follow.

Cons

In certain scenarios I believe the workflows could use refinement and I also find that synchronization and reporting with our time-management tool leave room for enhancement.
