ManageEngine Password Manager Pro Features
Centralized Password Vault
The platform stores all privileged credentials in an AES-256-encrypted vault, supporting ready-made resource templates, including servers, network devices, and databases. Administrators can organize, access, and share credentials from one console. Centralized storage reduces the risk of credential sprawl and improves team-wide accountability.
Automated Password Resets
ManageEngine Password Manager Pro enforces password policies and auto-rotates credentials across systems on a defined schedule. Custom scripts can be triggered after each reset to handle follow-up actions on endpoints. This eliminates manual password management and reduces exposure from stale or reused credentials.
Granular Password Sharing
The software applies least-privilege access by letting administrators assign role-based permissions and manage request-release workflows. Time-limited access can be granted based on specific user needs and job roles. This ensures sensitive credentials are shared only when necessary, limiting insider risk and enforcing accountability.
Disaster Recovery
The platform supports redundant server and database configurations to maintain access during outages. Administrators can schedule automated database backups and restore operations within minutes. This continuity of planning ensures that mission-critical credentials remain accessible even during unexpected infrastructure failures.
