“Offers great return on investment
Pros
The best feature of CASEpeer is how efficiently it compiles treatment details and costs when preparing a case for settlement. It updates as you go, acting like the assistant you've always wanted, and everyone on the team can stay on the same page.
Cons
Every platform has its downsides, but I think the usability could be improved for viewing open cases under the reports tab. It takes a long time to load, and the Medpay features under settlements can be confusing.

“Texting feature is superb
Pros
I love how it helps me stay organized and track what's been completed or still needs to be done on each case. The texting feature is a huge time saver as well.
Cons
I'm not a fan of the fact that some features are only available on CASEpeer advanced.

“Reliable for court deadlines and protocols
Pros
What I liked most about Casepeer was its litigation tab and the calendar features. I rely on it because every county uses different court rules and it consistently got the deadlines and the various court-specific protocols right.
Cons
I did notice the calendar layout can be hard to read when a single day is full of events as it becomes cluttered. Linking the calendar to Outlook, however really helps and makes those busy days much easier for me to see clearly.

“Refines critical pi practice management
Pros
For me adding clients, signing them up and tracking records and bills which I consider the most critical part of a PI practice has been refined by this software.
Cons
I find that not being able to tailor the settlement and negotiation worksheets is limiting, so I still rely on my own spreadsheets for negotiation and subrogation.

Pros
this CMS is tailored for personal injury work but so many other platforms are not and it is easy to miss that even after doing a ton of research before choosing one. But CASEpeer really gets what a PI firm handles and requires.
Cons
Visually, it isn't as polished as I would prefer, though that's something I believe can be refined over time with updates and tweaks.

it is easy to use and I appreciate how organized it is and how simple it is to locate what I need.
Cons
About 70% of the time I cannot add a direct note when I hit 'Reply' I end up having to refresh and then click into each individual note before I am able to post a note for every single entry.

I find it�simple�to use and I can locate what I need to access quickly.
Cons
What bothers me is that WC cases are organized the same way as PI cases I think there ought to be an employer/insurer designation instead of labeling them as the defendant.

Everything I need is visible at a glance and I find the interface really�easy�to use. The organized tabs hold all required details and the document tab makes it simple for me to locate related files.
Cons
I am frustrated by the note auto-save. I often have multiple tabs open to indicate I am actively working on a file, yet when I return the note has disappeared, so it is easy for me to unintentionally move on without it. Additionally whenever I am editing entries in the Medical tab or in Documents and save, the interface jumps back to the top of the page, forcing me to scroll down again to find the exact item I was working on.

“Excellent pi management
Pros
I have found the out of the box PI file management to be excellent. The built-in client texting is phenomenal for keeping clients up to date and the alerts about stale cases are incredibly helpful. Plus the eSignature feature has completely changed how I manage documents. it is a real game-changer. Overall it is a fantastic product and although there are a few tweaks I'd like to see, it is absolutely worth using.
Cons
There is a real need for a much better Negotiations tab or section as the current setup is lacking. The settlement worksheet isn't something I like and it should be possible to run it without having to create accounting entries first. Cost tracking also needs attention, specifically how soft costs that the firm is owed but hasn't been paid in advance are handled. So this area should be reworked and clarified. I'd love more user customization options overall. My previous software had a stronger, more powerful calendar. One small annoyance is that under UM insurance the adjuster must be labeled 'bodily injury' instead of simply 'UM adjuster,' which feels awkward.

I can capture and record details immediately as they happen which helps me keep documentation accurate in real time.
Cons
It would be really useful if I could search using a medical provider's name so I can quickly pull up clients whose profiles match or are linked to that provider in some way or another.

I find it very�user-friendly�to use and mostly self-explanatory.
Cons
My biggest frustration is the litigation folder as it is really sub-par. It mostly serves only as a place to plug in information and doesn't provide useful tools beyond data entry. One major shortcoming is that deadlines are not calculated automatically and that omission is huge when you are managing trial dates and court deadlines. The litigation area feels far too basic and could be much better with a few key enhancements. On top of that there is no way to pull a comprehensive list of all cases in a single folder-like view. I end up having to search by name which is fine with a low case count but quickly becomes problematic as my caseload grows.
