“hassle-free data entry”
Pros
What I appreciate most is how uncomplicated data entry feels. Getting information into the system is simple which saves time and reduces frustration
Cons
I haven't run into anything that gets in the way of entering information. Whenever I do have a question, I just reach out to technical support for help.

“Easy to get used to”
Pros
In my opinion this software is very user-friendly and it didn't take long to feel comfortable using it. It covers all the essentials I need to run my business.
Cons
There are still a few things I haven't figured out how to do yet.

“Documents wherever i need them”
Pros
Having all of my documents available at any time has been a huge plus. We still keep paper files but being able to pull up what I need even when I'm not in or near the office is incredibly helpful.
Cons
I'm still getting the hang of Clio Grow. It feels a little intimidating while I'm trying to learn it but I'm sure once it clicks, I'll appreciate it just as much as I do Clio Manage.

“doesn't take long to get started”
Pros
I find it simple to understand and it takes hardly any training to learn. You can begin using it productively from day one.
Cons
The matter and client search functions should be combined so all related options appear in one place.

“Impressive template feature”
Pros
The integration between the CRM and case management has been a big plus for us and the template feature is especially valuable. Since we handle both real estate and estate planning matters, a lot of our work relies on form-based documents. We've also taken it a step further by customizing those documents through the CRM integration which lets us auto-fill them with the right information.
Cons
The only thing that bothers me is that "non-billable" entries do not appear on invoices. I really think clients should be able to see that clearly.

“Helped us go paperless”
Pros
It has been incredibly smooth when it comes to helping our company move toward a paperless workflow.
Cons
Sometimes, communication gets tricky with clients who have more than one matter because their email ends up being tied to a different matter.

“Enjoyable experience”
Pros
It felt clear and simple to navigate so it's never hard to find what I need. The time-tracking feature is something I especially value. Using Clio has also taught me a lot about legal software in general and how it stacks up against other options. It's definitely near the top of the list for me. When people bring up other platforms, I usually end up recommending it because I genuinely enjoy using it.
Cons
If I could change one thing, I'd add a dashboard or activity feed for each matter. That way, everything that has happened on a case could be viewed quickly in one place. I'd also say customer service could be better at times.

“Solid tool for document management”
Pros
Document management has been really solid and being able to send documents out for signature is something I've really appreciated since it helps reduce paper use. The invoicing side is simple to handle too.
Cons
I'd change the way documents are saved into it. I'd prefer to save them directly there instead of first downloading them to my desktop and then uploading them manually.

“No major issues”
Pros
Convenient and user-friendly. It has made my work a lot more easier and fun.
Cons
I really haven't run into any major issues yet since I haven't been using it very long. The only possible concern is that I still can't seem to figure out how to go back and view my daily docketing.

“clean design”
Pros
Everything is very user-friendly and keeps all my work neatly organized. The web interface also has a clean, uncluttered design that feels pleasant to use.
Cons
Undo option is missing after something gets deleted. Also, when I download emails from the Clio communications tab, the email formatting gets changed.

Pros

“case tracking works well”
Pros
Keeping cases organized from start to finish is where it really does its best work. Compared with other programs I've used, it's much easier to search for and pull up case files without a lot of hassle.
Cons
Where it falls short is in the smaller quality-of-life details. It still doesn't offer 3-way reconciliation, creating custom documents or invoice templates is tedious and the results are fairly underwhelming, automated expense creation isn't available and the client portal can be confusing for clients to navigate.

“connects with QuickBooks online and Microsoft 365”
Pros
Getting started and growing a small practice feels much more manageable with Clio because it's very user-friendly and connects fully with the other tools I already rely on, like QuickBooks Online and Microsoft 365. That combination makes it feel close to an all-in-one solution for what I need.
Cons
My biggest frustration has been with Clio Payments. I don't like that it's harder for clients to choose e-Check first instead of being pushed toward credit card payments. There was also a period when customer service took a long time to answer calls although that has improved a lot since then.

“our trusted case management hub”
Pros
At the heart of our law practice, Clio is the system everything revolves around. It serves as our single source of truth and has been a reliable, dependable backbone for handling our full range of case management needs.
Cons
CRM functionality could be stronger. Clio Grow is supposed to cover that as a separate companion product but because the integration between the two is fairly limited, the gap between them can be frustrating to navigate. A few other parts of the platform could also use improvement especially billing features like invoice creation and external sharing, along with document management, even though it still performs well overall.

Pros
Fitting this into our existing workflow was smooth especially with the calendar and contact sync already working the way we needed.
