CloudM Archive Features

Archive adds a step to offboarding that moves leavers’ Mail and Drive data into long-term storage automatically. This reduces manual effort, frees paid licenses sooner, and ensures records remain accessible for audits, investigations, or reference without keeping deactivated accounts hanging around in your tenant.

See How It Works

Create bespoke retention policies and assign them via dynamic groups so the right data is archived, retained, or purged on schedule. Automation lowers manual error risk, aligns with compliance timelines, and helps control storage growth. These CloudM Archive features support consistent retention at scale.

See How It Works

Restore a single email, file, or an entire user’s Mail or Drive content, and track progress in Archive and Restoration Status views. Searchable archives help IT, HR, and legal teams retrieve evidence quickly for audits and e-discovery, reducing delays during incident response or employee disputes.

See How It Works

Host archived data in your organization’s Google Cloud Storage bucket rather than a vendor repository. Keeping storage under your control helps avoid lock-in, improves data governance, and reduces Google Archived User license costs by moving required records out of paid AU licenses.

See How It Works

Extend archiving to data retained in Google Vault by capturing eligible deleted items into long-term storage. This closes gaps that arise when content leaves user accounts, and supports later restoration to another account when retention rules still require access to those records.

Great cloud management solution

Pros

Data migration capabilities are really impressive for me when dealing with server load issues. It handles transfers from multiple platforms easily which is perfect for SaaS companies that need to move data quickly when requirements change. The new automated permission assignment feature is fantastic, saves so much time of me by handling access controls automatically.

Cons

Lack of AI integration is noticeable, once they add this feature, I think it's going to transform how the platform works and make everything much more efficient for me.

outstanding support experience

Pros

Migration capabilities are really great and I was impressed with how smoothly the data transfer went. The support team showed incredible patience throughout our process, we had some complex organizational changes that required multiple reschedules but they stuck with us. Our migration specialist was understanding about all the administrative complications we faced and everything worked out perfectly in the end.

Cons

Initial setup they want you to handle yourself is pretty technical for someone like me who isn't in IT. Even though I think their directions and tutorials cover everything, migrating data is still tough to follow when you don't have much experience with that stuff.
