“Great for managing claims and automation”
Pros
We've been using this for 4 years now to manage all our daily files and it's been excellent for handling the entire claims process, everything from tracking contacts to managing due dates. There are tons of useful tools but my favorite time saver is the template feature with tokens that automatically pulls specific details like claim numbers, insured info, policy details, VIN numbers, etc. from files to basically automate reports. It's also great for generating production reports and billing, plus keeping everyone updated through text and email alerts in the diary notes.
Cons
Setting it up initially was quite tricky for me and ate up a lot of time getting our company configured in there, though productivity has really improved since we got through that phase.

“Top-notch platform”
Pros
Having worked with many claims management systems and roster platforms throughout my career, FileTrac stands above most of them. It is an excellent ready to use solution, with most of the features you'd want already built in that too without the high price tag that usually comes with a customized system. The service and support are also outstanding. Overall it is a very decent choice.
Cons
It is clearly continuing to evolve. I'd still like to see integrated website roster management and more flexibility in customizing data fields so reports can better match specific client requirements. On the positive side I already know those enhancements are currently in development.

“helpful support team”
Pros
Using FileTrac Evolve has been very easy and the support service is the part I like most.
Cons
Well it is in the middle of a lot of major changes all at once. I'd prefer to see updates and upgrades introduced more gradually, a little at a time and I believe that will likely happen going forward.

“Decent tool it is”
Pros
Whenever I am on the phone with an insurance carrier or a customer, I can pull claim details together very quickly. The Multi Criteria Search feature is something I rely on several times throughout the day.
Cons
A downside is that some file documents still cannot be uploaded into the tool because of integration problems. In most cases, it happens with certain types of digital photo files.

“Saves time”
Pros
Being able to track and review every company file, diary and status in one place has been fantastic. At any point we can jump into a file and keep things moving with whatever handling is needed.
Cons
We'd still like better support from some of our clients during assignment integration since that would help speed up the claims handling process.

“Powerful analytics and scalability”
Pros
Across the organization this software has helped improve both structure and efficiency. The analytics available to users are very useful and the product is simple to customize which makes it a scalable solution that can support the needs of both small teams and larger organizations.
Cons
The integration process was fairly painless. Ongoing communication also helps drive product improvements and makes new enhancements easier to understand when they are released.

“User friendly and simple”
Pros
FileTrac Evolve has been user friendly and easy to use. The pricing is very attractive as no upfront fees, no hidden costs and unlimited users and locations are included at no extra charge. The only expense is a very affordable one time fee per claim and that cost is quickly recovered through the efficiency gains it brings. It also scales well and FileTrac keeps improving the product by regularly adding useful new features. Integration with platforms like Xactimate, Symbility and QuickBooks is also smooth. The reporting tools are advanced enough to handle almost any situation and the diary system is very convenient to use. Tech support has been outstanding. Features like timesheet tracking and adjuster payout tracking make billing and commission reporting much easier. Since it's web-based, claims can be handled from anywhere which is ideal for businesses with multiple offices and locations. Everything is secure and backed up so there's no worry about losing claim data, notes, reports or photos. On top of that it is like a true partner and gives each client the attention you would expect if you were their only customer.
Cons
Honestly I do not have any complaints about this software. I have nothing negative to say about either the product itself or the support team.

“powerful integrations and shared success”
Pros
From day one FileTrac Evolve was simple to use and just as simple to set up. The user experience is so clear that we did not need to spend time training employees. One of the biggest advantages is how well it connects with all the different software we use, no matter the carrier. With the Symbility bridge, claims flow in automatically through Symbility so there is no tedious setup for every single claim. We can assign files through a map by zip code, adjuster, manager or supervisor and that can all be automated based on the file's details. Data also syncs back into Symbility easily so notes only need to be kept in one place instead of across the invoice, FileTrac and Symbility separately. On top of that there's also an Xactimate bridge, a HOVER bridge and they'll even work with you if you have your own system. I honestly cannot say that about many other vendors I have worked with, at least not to this extent. They truly operate with a shared-fate mindset and feel like they're in it with you. They want you to succeed because when one side wins, both sides benefit. That relationship works both ways as they continue to grow, the software gets stronger and our operation gets stronger with it. To me, the true value of a claims company comes from its process, not just claim volume. It has also helped us create an amazing process, almost like a claims assembly line, where repetitive work is automated and our team can spend more time focusing on quality instead of routine tasks. Overall it has been a major part of our success.
Cons
At first I thought it was missing some of the automation features we needed but it turned out those functions were already there and just needed to be configured differently. And for the ones that truly weren't available, they actually built them for us.

“fantastic support when needed”
Pros
More than anything, the customer service and support deserve recognition. This really is like a thank you to everyone who has helped us throughout the years. The software is simple to learn so new users can get started very quickly but at the same time it is incredibly powerful. It has boosted our productivity tremendously. For our management team, the communication and diary tools in FileTrac have been the standout features. Because it is web-based, it is vital for our business since we operate across multiple locations. Everything updates in real time which gives us a dependable view of our workflow. That has been especially important during the shift to remote work because of Covid-19. Our firm has been able to keep operating without disruption and it has played a huge role in that. After more than 10 years of using it, it still ranks as one of the best business decisions we have made.
Cons
It continues to roll out new features on a regular basis and they are currently in the middle of a major and exciting update. Honestly any drawbacks I might have mentioned have already been addressed over the years.

“responsive support and custom reports”
Pros
Being able to bulk dispatch through the mapping system has been a huge plus and I really like that we can build our own reports around our specific needs. Their customer support team is another standout. They're responsive, open-minded and quick to help no matter the day or time an issue comes up. They genuinely feel like true partners.
Cons
I have a hard time coming up with any negatives about this CMS.
