I really like this platform because it offers powerful logic capabilities across workflows and the target templates I use. Having the ability to set a paywall was essential for me since it saved me from dealing with invoicing and payment collection. Customer support has been outstanding.

There's definitely room for improvement. In our specific case I wish the platform included more advanced mathematical functions and a feature that forces signers to enter text as part of the e-signature workflow which would help our process.

it's versatile for non-legal tasks like contract management and document creation. for me the UX is convenient and easy to use without legal expertise. It gets constant updates and responsive customer support.

Honestly, this product feels ridiculously capable. After evaluating several legal automation platforms, I found this one stood out above the rest for what it can do. My aim with automation is to have documents arrive to me nearly perfect so I only need to do a final pass and this solution achieved that goal for my workflows. There were numerous little capabilities I hadn't even considered, for example, nested repeating elements, that turned out to be feasible to configure here. Beyond the functionality, the customer success team consistently shows they care about our outcomes and the founder is engaged and genuinely invested as well.

It's genuinely difficult for me to point out major drawbacks. Features I asked about during the demo were already available by the time I signed on which really impressed me. I also appreciate how the team keeps a public wishlist and actually follows through on implementing many customer suggestions instead of just making promises.

this strikes the perfect balance between power and simplicity. The tool has completely transformed how I run my law practice because I can crank out full sets of documents in a fraction of the time and getting it up and running was feasible. Honestly, it's excellent software across the board.

my team used to be stuck making custom quotes and duplicating paperwork all the time. We put together our first automation in about ten minutes and since then we've been refining the rest and adding complexity. It feels like there are virtually no limitations to what we can build with it.

Whenever I've suggested new features, the support team has taken my input seriously and implemented improvements which makes it hard for me to think of any real downsides.

I've heard others mention this but I still find it incredible how much I can accomplish with such a tidy no-code interface. The app really centers on just two areas, the questions section (your questionnaire, or what they label as "interviews") and the generated documents. Despite the simple setup, I did pick it up within the first twenty minutes. It supports nested logic, bespoke naming rules, tables, gender agreement and more.

At this point, I truly have no complaints. The platform has made document creation simple and efficient for me.

Now I can align the whole process by collecting information via a web form and having those responses automatically flow into the document, where they trigger changes using conditional logic.

We've relied on Documate to create Statements of Work and a variety of sales agreements and setting up our workflows was feasible while the platform itself is surprisingly great. Whenever I throw at them something unusual or highly customized and ask if it's doable, they either confirm it's possible or they have a solution ready within a few days.

At the moment I'm waiting for them to integrate with Salesforce and I'm currently participating in the beta to try out that functionality.

I've found Documate makes it feasible to move away from outdated software like HotDocs, letting people at any skill level get set up and running quickly. From my experience it's clearly designed to be simple and effective for end users.

That said, I know Documate is still expanding, so not every feature I want is available right now. I've noticed, however, that their team responds quickly and is actively working to meet customer needs and in my interactions they've been excellent at listening to and acting on feedback.

After spending more than a year researching and trying out different programs across the internet, I still haven't found anything else that matches what Documate can do, aside from maybe a single enterprise-grade solution that would have set me back tens of thousands of dollars every month. The interface is incredibly user-friendly, yet the system is capable of handling nearly any automation, calculation, or formatting task I can throw at it. And on the rare occasions when I couldn't figure out how to make something work, the support team stepped in and helped me get it done.

it is the most great platform available and really the only one that met our strict security requirements. At first I adopted it just for preparing legal documents but pretty quickly I realized it had a lot more power and capacity than I expected, so I've expanded its use to handle my projects, HR paperwork and the PDF forms our teams need to fill out. It's genuinely been a game changer for us. The team set up SSO and the API let us integrate smoothly with our existing systems.

After switching from HotDocs, my overall experience has been excellent. Here are the highlights I care about, it's convenient and visually appealing both for me as the creator and for clients on their end, it works well on my Mac, I don't need to write code to make it do powerful stuff, it supports extremely complex logic, I can send interview workflows to clients or run them internally to produce documents, email ties in nicely and the support team is friendly, even on weekends.

only thing I wish for is more color choices and additional design themes, more visual options would make the app feel even more polished to me.
