“great for data integrity & export”
Pros
Hanzo is a web archiving tool that is highly capable and trustworthy. What stood out to me was how well it handles all kinds of web content, especially modern websites with lots of interactive features and scripts. These complex pages are captured and preserved accurately, creating archives that are a true and dependable copy of the original. The powerful search tools made it simple for me to find specific pieces of information later, even in a large collection of archived materials. I also appreciated the ability to export the archives in different formats, which was very practical for sharing and reporting. Plus, knowing that the company prioritizes data integrity and follows strict compliance standards gave me great peace of mind. This was especially important when I needed to securely keep and retrieve essential information from the web for legal or regulatory reasons
Cons
Although it includes numerous strengths, the element I found most frustrating was the complexity of its user interface since the design introduced a steep learning curve and required a fair amount of time before I felt comfortable with the breadth of features and capabilities. Navigation did not feel as intuitive as I would have liked, particularly when someone is new to the tasks involved in web archiving which can slow adoption. I also discovered that the pricing model lacked clarity, making it occasionally challenging for me to estimate costs based on anticipated usage or particular needs, so simplifying the overall user experience and offering more transparent pricing details would significantly improve the platform's usability.

“Best for homegrown site data”
Pros
I appreciate that I can run data collection and indexing directly against our internally built websites which helps me to more comprehensively review items that might be responsive and align our review workflows.
Cons
I believe this concern has already been resolved, my main hesitation was around Hanzo running their tools on their own machines against on-premises sites. I would prefer an agent-based approach that performs collections locally so that clients can execute collections themselves and become advanced users of the platform but again, I think this may already have been addressed.

“simple setup & responsive support”
Pros
I find the dashboard clean which makes locating and extracting archives easy and configuring those archive jobs is generally uncomplicated. Additionally, their support team responds very quickly when I have urgent issues.
Cons
That said, I do need some database skills to run certain searches from the dashboard and as someone with only basic experience it can be challenging to track down particular archives when I'm looking for them.

“A major upgrade for us”
Pros
Compared to our old archiving solution, I find this tool significantly better and Hanzo's very simple interface is what I appreciate most because it's easy to use.
Cons
Hanzo dashboard would benefit from additional enhancements and refinements to make it more interactive and feature-complete for everyday use.

I've found it to be a very capable platform that covers everything from eDiscovery and archiving to compliance and legal document management. My overall experience has been successful. Since it's web-based, I haven't had any compatibility issues and it integrates really well with Google Workspace, Slack and Box
Cons
From my perspective, this is missing several helpful archiving capabilities most notably email archiving and more flexible eDiscovery and I believe the product would greatly benefit from added case analytics and document-tracking features. Additionally, its legal document management lacks granular access controls and collaborative tools that my team needs.

In my experience the product is flexible and very easy to operate and I regularly receive exceptional assistance from the support team. The platform's adaptable, fully customizable features align with our business requirements and their team consistently produces measurable results while surpassing what I anticipated.
Cons
I wish there were a more visible job status dashboard or a clearer job status bar to track progress.

“Perfectly saves new complex websites”

Dependable and versatile, It provides us far beyond a mere compliance solution because our recently deployed sites rely on JavaScript frameworks to render intensive data-driven pages, no other archiving provider was capable of crawling and preserving those pages with the pixel-perfect fidelity that Hanzo delivers, so after we migrated to their service following the site launches we have had no reason to revert.
Cons
The 'Save to PDF' feature requires refinement, in particular I have come accross issues when attempting to convert very long pages which can sometimes fail or produce unsatisfactory results.

I've found that dynamic and static archiving are entirely dependable, thorough and accurate. the customer support I've encountered here is the best in this field, consistently responsive and knowledgeable moreover, the fact that a site map isn't required represents a significant advantage for our workflows.
Cons
At this point I have no criticisms to report because It already delivers everything our organization requires from an archiving provider.

In my experience, it consistently fulfills and often exceeds every one of our requirements for archiving public-facing websites and their team addresses issues quickly while remaining readily accessible and extremely responsive whenever we need assistance.
