Iolite Trademark Management Features
Iolite Trademark Management software manages the complete life of a trademark application by storing and organizing all associated case information, required documents, and important deadlines. The system records the process from the very first filing through to the time of publication, eventual registration, and preparation for renewal.
This feature is for managing cases where a third party legally objects to a trademark application. It stores and tracks all documents, deadlines, and details related to the opposition case, starting from the opposition filing. This includes managing documents like counter statements, evidence submissions, and hearing schedules within the central repository.
The platform handles the organization and storage of all legal documents associated with a case, such as affidavit, evidence of use, invoice copies, and powers of attorney (POA/GPA). The system gives staff the ability to download an individual document file in PDF format. Staff can also choose to download many selected files together in one compressed zip file.
This financial feature is used for creating necessary financial records, including Invoices, Receipts, and Credit Notes, using standardized templates. Staff can directly email these generated financial documents to the respective clients. It also performs the administrative function of creating overall summary reports and detailed Statements of Account for any client.
Iolite Trademark Management allows staff to precisely record the specific work completed on trademark application and opposition filings. The recorded details include the exact start time and end time of the task performed. A full description of the work completed by the staff member is also logged and maintained by this feature.
This feature helps remind clients of their trademark expiration by automatically retrieving the details of all approaching renewals within a set time. When the renewal document is received, the system records it. This action finalizes the renewal in the system and correctly updates the date when the next renewal will be due, typically ten years later.
