Overview

LawWare offers case management, legal accounting, CRM, and document generation for UK firms. Users value centralized client files and AML checks; however, some small firms report onboarding and support issues. Nonetheless, the feature breadth and cloud or server deployment provide an integrated option.

Packed with fantastic features

Pros

From what I saw in the demos, the software looked the best. Plus being able to keep everything tied to a single client file in one place and view documents, emails and related information together is very appealing. The integrations with other services, such as AML checks for new clients, would also be a big plus if they actually worked.

Cons

Unfortunately I still haven't been able to useitat all. I am basically paying for nothing because the customer service was so poor as no one helped me get set up and nobody followed up after my repeated attempts to get support. I was told they would assist with creating templates for engagement letters but they never gave me information on how to build the templates myself and no one created them for me either. At this point I am just paying the monthly fee until I can cancel once my 12 month contract ends. In the meantime, I am paying twice because I am still using Clio which I had originally planned to move away from.
