As someone who is not the best with technology, I was worried this software would be difficult but it turns out I am really enjoying using it.

If there are any issues, they're not significant enough for me to remember everything's been working great.

MerusCase takes the guesswork out of scheduling tasks for different cases which is great.

At times it can be slow and the pages due to which documents I need do not load properly.

MerusCase functionality works well for our company. So based on how much I use it I have no complaints.

Merging documents is easy and emails get attached pretty easily.

There is no red flag alert on cases. For example if a client does not want their spouse to get case information after a divorce, a red flag alert should pop up when opening the case which covers the case profile and clearly stating not to share info with the spouse.

There is no spell check feature when writing emails which I love to see. Even though it seems like a simple thing to have.

MerusCase software was a game changer for our company. It helped us move from paper files to electronic ones just 3 months before we had to leave the office due to the pandemic. The staff adapted quickly and it was easy to use. With AI scanning, we have been able to reduce clerical staff and improved responsiveness in an area of law where decisions and communication are important on an hourly basis.

I have heard it can be difficult to customize the program for some of the unique procedures and functions we have historically used in our firm, but we are confident the Merus team will help us implement some of our suggestions.

The case management system works great. Also it is simple to use, highly reliable, well organized and regularly updated.

This is my first time using Merus Case! After working in the Workers Comp industry for over 31 years and using other systems like A-1, Time Matters and Practice Masters, I have to say I love MerusCase. It is very easy to understand and it has everything you need from Excel to Jet Filing. The connection to EAMS makes setting up files quick and less difficult. My favorite part is the open data base. I learned to code and create my own templates just by watching the videos which saves time and money compared to other systems that require calling in for training. Thank you MerusCase!

Cons

Well I really wish Excel and Word were integrated into MerusCase. Having everything in one place would save time and reduce mistakes when saving documents. Its tough to save files from Word to Merus right now.

The software delivers as promised which provides us a cloud based platform for managing case files, billing and more.

MerusCase suite only works with an internet connection and while it started off promising, its tried to be a jack of all trades without really mastering anything. The Office integration is weak and new features are introduced without clear instructions on how to apply them to existing cases. Honestly if we were not so tied to the platform, I would have switched to a different provider a year ago.

It is designed so that all information in a file is easy to access. Features like the automatic buttons for making voucher referrals and ordering records are very useful.

MerusCase drop down box for tags is small and hard to scroll through.

MerusCase makes managing cases from anywhere really easy. Linking emails and other information to files for case analysis and decision making is pretty simple.

We have had trouble getting some templates set up for our office. We need better functionality for writing legal documents that are ready to file in court.

To be honest there is nothing I do not like about it. MerusCase is a great software for any law company whether small or large.
