“Not Worth the Switch
Pros
Search functionality is really great and finds what I need quickly. Saving documents is pretty easy most of the time. I appreciate how the compare feature works easily, you can use it within the system or externally if needed. Downloading email attachments is super simple and hassle free.
Cons
Setting up new clients and matters takes way too many steps compared to what I'm used to. The help function is unnecessarily complicated and hard to navigate. During migration, they didn't automatically transfer all my subfolder levels, only gave me clients and matters initially. Had to fight with them to get the rest set up which cost me extra money. When they finally created the subfolders, most only had cryptic short names instead of the descriptive ones I had before. They also created a bunch of document type folders based on old settings that I don't actually need, cluttering everything up. Now I can't figure out how to create new subfolders, save documents to existing ones, or even open them except through search. They couldn't replicate my Outlook integration that automatically deleted emails after saving them. The document list shows fewer items per page now which is really annoying. Those auto generated Doc Type folders are completely useless. I'm also concerned about storage limits and whether costs will increase as I save more files, or if I'll need to download things for offline storage. Support has been practically non existent throughout this whole process.

“slow tool and disappointing support experience
Pros
Interface is really easy and simple for me. Having all my documents centralized in one location saves me tons of time. I can attach and send multiple documents via email with just a single click which is incredibly convenient.
Cons
The app runs pretty slow most of the time. It crashes way too often which gets really frustrating. I need a ton of bandwidth to run it properly. And don't even get me started on trying to upload documents from my computer, it's absolutely terrible and takes forever.

“Great DMs with mixed results
Pros
It has been a game changer for our organization, dramatically enhancing how we file, store and search for documents. The improvement in our workflow efficiency has been remarkable.
Cons
I wish the Outlook plugin was stronger, I found myself constantly jumping out to the web browser way more than I wanted to (especially compared to iManage that I used before). Also the thing that bothers me is that how I have to organize everything into seperate cabinets for different matters.

“Best file organization Tool
Pros
I love how it keeps everything organized in one interface with multiple folders, makes finding documents so much easier! Creating new folders and subfolders is easy and I can rename files whenever needed. The check in/check out feature is really handy for version control. What's great is being able to keep different versions of files, so if I need an older version, it's right there. Plus, I can preview documents without downloading them first which saves time.
Cons
Sometimes it's slow to create folders when I'm using Safari, though Chrome works fine for this.

“secure Document sharing Made simple
Pros
I can just give clients the netdoc ID when they have an account, makes sharing so much simpler for me. For those who don't have accounts, the external link with password protection is perfect for letting anyone view documents. It really simplifies the whole document sharing process.
Cons
I struggled with finding documents I'd uploaded, the folder organization made it really difficult for me to locate files without searching by their ID number. I think the layout definitely needs more emphasis on better folder structure.

“Great document organization tool
Pros
Love how this tool organizes everything with profiles that create virtual folders for us. The way it sorts documents by client, matter, name and type makes finding things so much easier. Being able to add comments and notes directly to documents is incredibly helpful for keeping track of important details. The email integration works easily and I love that everyone on the team can access what they need. The checkout feature prevents conflicts when multiple people are working and version control keeps everything organized as documents evolve. It's perfect for our law practice.
Cons
I can't think of anything I dislike about this platform, everything works well for me and I'd definitely recommend it to others.

“Reliable Daily Uploading
Pros
It makes it so easy for me to upload several documents at once. I really appreciate that feature.
Cons
Finding documents can be really frustrating, the search function seems unpredictable and sometimes pulls up random files while missing the ones I actually need. It's not great when I am trying to quickly locate something to open, move or download.

“frustrating interface hurts workflow efficiency
Pros
Feature I like most is that I appreciate having everything stored in the cloud where my team can grab documents from anywhere. It's also been great for freeing up space on our servers.
Cons
File upload process is painfully slow since I have to do each document one by one. Finding specific matter numbers is a real difficulty too. Honestly, I'm way more productive just using Windows Explorer instead. I can't even have multiple file windows open at once, so there's all this annoying back and forth clicking between files that really slows me down.

“Decent choice for non-Mac users
Pros
Having a centralized spot is perfect for me where all our case documents live, no more hunting through random folders. The tagging system is fantastic since I can assign multiple tags to each file which makes searches much more effective. Once everything's configured properly, then navigating becomes pretty easy.
Cons
I think the Mac integration isn't nearly as simple as advertised. Two of our lawyers often work offline because of this and they don't always get their document versions saved to the system. Sometimes it's just them forgetting but other times it's definitely a platform issue. While saving, documents requires multiple steps, I still think the extra effort pays off.

“okay for PC users only
Pros
For my team document management feels really clean and easy to navigate. Having selective access control has been incredibly helpful for our workflow. This is definitely a huge step up from what we were using before.
Cons
The Mac functionality was definitely oversold to us. While it runs smoothly on our PCs with hardly any problems for most users, Mac compatibility has been a real struggle. We were assured it would work just as well on Mac as PC but honestly, the functionality gap is pretty significan't.

“smooth cloud Migration solution
Pros
Document management is incredibly easy for me with this system. Being able to customize my homepage means I never have to hunt around for files I'm constantly using and I can build a to do list right alongside them. Working remotely has become so much smoother and I've actually been able to eliminate other software since this covers most of what I need in one place.
Cons
I wish multiple people could work on the same document simultaneously without needing a shared workspace. The Clio integration works well overall but I have to manually link from Clio to NetDocs which can slow things down initially. Once that's set up though, it runs smoothly! You can gradually incorporate this into your workflow over the first few months rather than doing everything at once.
