“frustrating experience, poor service!
Pros
It seemed okay, but we ended up moving to another product.
Cons
After dealing with poor service from Osprey, we made the decision to switch to a competitor. The experience felt frustratingly childish, like 'toys out of the pram' and we knew it was time for a change

“Clear accounts but slow and unresponsive
Pros
The accounts are clear and it's easy to set up new matters and search the database.
Cons
It doesn't provide one solid platform or browser to use it on. It's slow and unresponsive, and while support seems helpful at first, they often can't actually fix the issues.

“Hard to use and inflexible

Honestly, I can't think of anything good to say about it.
Cons
It's difficult to use, painfully slow, and feels outdated. The interface isn't user-friendly, making even basic functions more complicated than they should be. On top of that, it's extremely inflexible and doesn't adapt well to our needs.

“Simple tool but long upload times
Pros
For me, it was pretty simple to get started with and anyone can pick up the basics without training. The customer service team is great, really friendly and always ready to help. The new updated interface is much more appealing too.
Cons
Upload times are way too long and it freezes if the file is over a certain size. I have to refresh it several times to get it to work again.

“Super easy to learn
Pros
I really appreciate how simple and straightforward it is to use. When I started my current role, I had no experience with systems like Osprey but I was able to teach myself how to use it in no time.
Cons
I'm not sure if this is a software issue or a problem with our internet, or a mix of both, but sometimes I just can't use my normal web link to access Osprey. I had to contact the help center to arrange an alternative link, which was frustrating since I couldn't use it for a day or two.

“flexible software, needs Add-In improvements
Pros
The software is easy to use and it's simple to customize to fit our needs.
Cons
The add-ins don't work properly with our standard letters and it doesn't look like this will be fixed anytime soon. It's a real shame and will cause problems in the future.

I understand it's great for our accounting team's needs.
Cons
Older version looked more old-fashioned and while there have been some improvements, the system is still clunky and lacks some of the advanced features of more modern case management systems.

Pros
Adding new templates is fairly easy, as long as you know the codes for titles and names. It makes it easier to find all the client information you need.
Cons
I found the older version much easier to use. The new update hasn't improved things much.

“Beginner and User Friendly
Pros
What I like most about this software is how user-friendly it is, and it's super easy to train staff on the relevant features of the case management system. Whenever there's an issue, the support staff is always quick and helpful.
Cons
There are a few issues with losing documents if the intranet goes down and maybe more features could be added in relation to emails, like attaching documents to them. Right now, you can import emails, but when sending them, all the documents automatically attach. Also, as a law firm, the bundle package needs to be updated.

Pros
The new look is a major upgrade, it's like switching from Windows 98 to Windows 10. The difference is huge, and everything feels a lot more modern and easier to use

Uploading your own templates should have been made much easier this time around.

Pros
The software is really responsive, which makes navigating through matters and ledgers almost too easy. It allows for quick reviews of files and documentation pluse the UI looks great and is incredibly user-friendly.
Cons
For me, the software can sometimes take a while to generate a document, but that might be more due to my computer speed than the tool itself.

Pros
I've been using the Osprey system since 2017, back when it had the old format. The update, with the new logo color, was a smart choice. It makes the system look sleek and modern. Whenever I need help or support, they're always quick and efficient.
Cons
Printing certain pages can be tricky, but once you get the hang of it, it's doable.

“great features but navigation needs improvement
Pros
It does most of what I need really well, including document production and accounts. There are a lot more features I don't use or haven't had the time to set up. The recent upgrade to Osprey Approach is a huge improvement over the previous version. It's also competitively priced, despite a recent price hike.
Cons
Too many features and functions are hard to find, and Osprey needs to fix the issue where the system reverts to a previous client's details when changing pages, just because the matter number hasn't been entered on the matter history page. The minimum subscription is 3 licenses when I only need 2, though it's still cheaper than alternatives.
