“fast legal invoice tracking”
Pros
Using it has been convenient from the start and it has cut down a lot of the time I used to spend manually tracking legal invoices. The time logs are especially useful because I can review and approve them while seeing exactly how much time was spent for each client. Getting everything set up initially was simple and it's also convenient to add more people and give them access when needed.
Cons
I haven't come across any issues or dislikes at this point.

“More guidance needed for setup fields”
Pros
Only started using it within the last year but from what I've seen, it's been a positive experience overall. I also appreciate that it's fairly easy to use.
Cons
A few fields, like "Substantive law," are not very clear and when I'm creating or configuring a new legal case/client matter in the software, I'm not always sure what information is supposed to go into those sections.

Pros
It feels fairly simple to use overall. Most parts of the system follow a logical flow so even when I'm unsure what to do, I can usually work it out without too much trouble. I also appreciate how interactive it is especially with the different spending metrics and reports.
Cons
Reporting section can still be tricky to navigate at times. Building reports from scratch with the report generator feels more difficult than it should. I'd also really value an option to skip the billing guideline reviewer and send an invoice straight to the primary approver.

Pros
Keeping up with legal research and daily regulatory monitoring is much more manageable with this tool. It does a really good job of handling the huge volume of regulatory updates I need to review every day. The feature I value most is the regulatory update notifications especially because they're detailed enough to filter by practice area and jurisdiction. Getting everything set up at the beginning was also fairly easy which was a nice bonus.
Cons
One thing that would make it even better is adding more legal content, particularly when it comes to regulatory analysis.

Pros
Navigation feels very simple yet it still offers a high level of detail in the data which helps deliver accurate insights for tracking legal matters.
Cons
Honestly nothing comes to mind. I haven't used other matter-tracking software so I don't really have anything to compare it against.

Pros
Program feels simple and clearly built to help corporate companies get the most value from the work their law firms provide. It also comes with plenty of features that corporate clients can choose to use or skip and those options can be adjusted to fit their specific needs.
Cons
When a more complicated issue comes up trying to communicate back and forth through email is frustrating. On top of that, the one-on-one training sessions are usually limited to 30 minutes which makes it tough to get much done in that short amount of time over Teams.

Handling outside counsel billing is really simple with this software.
Cons
The frustrating part is the rate rejections. Once I reject a rate, there's no way to see what that rejected rate was because it disappears which feels countersimple. Accepted rates remain visible but when a firm resubmits a rate, I can't go back and review the previous one. Because of that, I have to keep a separate spreadsheet of all submitted rates just to maintain accurate records.

Pros
Right away, the user-friendly design made a big difference in how I handle more complex tasks. It takes a lot of the hassle out of managing them which has been a real plus. I've also had a very good experience with the support team because there's always someone knowledgeable available whenever I want to explore new ways to use the software. That level of assistance adds a lot of value and helps me get the most out of the product for my particular needs.
Cons
One area that could be better is printing and exporting data since it usually requires creating a new report first. For example, if I'm working within a case and only want to print a simple list of invoices, the process isn't very easy.

From day one, it has been a positive experience. Sending confidential correspondence to our defense counsel is fast and easy which is especially important in my role at the insurance company. I really trust it to handle sensitive information securely and that peace of mind matters a lot when dealing with confidential data. The setup process was simple as well so getting started was not a challenge. Its usability and dependable performance have been major advantages and I'm satisfied enough with the product that I'd gladly rate and recommend it a ten out of ten.
Cons
Issue I've noticed is that when we first set up our system in Duck Creek, the information does not always transfer to it immediately.

Pros
Keeping spend visible and staying within budget has been one of the biggest benefits. We can set up specific matters with budgets and approved rates which gives both the business and the law firm full transparency. The newer AI feature flags duplicate line items so invoice review is much faster and with the added Outside Counsel Guideline alerts, checking invoices has become a much less time-consuming weekly task. I also recently integrated it with our IP docketing system and now new matters are created automatically every night which saves me time during the day.
Cons
The RFP functionality still feels limited. It would be much more useful to have a built-in template feature that could be sent directly to firms instead of relying on a more external process.
