“Helps manage all of the case info
Pros
I have been using TrialWorks for over 20 years. I must say it is a product that I can easily manage and learn as it provides many quick and valuable tools that simplify workflows for law firms.
Cons
The only aspect I dislike about TrialWorks is that dashboards need to be created by the company unless you know SQL which is a paid service.

“Pretty reliable
Pros
Well I am surprised that this software hardly ever crashes even while handling large files.
Cons
You need time in order to learn how it connects with other software but once I understand it, I do not face any issues.

“Has a lot to offer
Pros
Once I set up the program correctly for my company it became easy and enjoyable to use.
Cons
Well there is really nothing we dislike about TrialWorks. We love it and have been using it for quite some time now.

“Its the best
Pros
TrialWorks is very easy to use and learn. Also it is pretty self explanatory. Someone with no experience can come in and learn it in just a day.
Cons
One downside is that there is a limit on the number of cases I can have. We reached that maximum.

“Very simple to use
Pros
I found it easy to upload files and schedule calendar dates within the program.
Cons
The fact that the TrialWorks software is application based instead of browser based made remote work quite difficult.

“A helpful and powerful tool
Pros
TrialWorks integrates pretty easily with Microsoft Outlook. One of its key features for us is the ability to record emails related to a case. Filing email correspondence into TrialWorks is very simple and it has proven to be highly helpful.
Cons
Overall we have been very satisfied with TrialWorks. If I could change anything I would make the Billing section/tool more user friendly.

“User-friendly!
Pros
I find TrialWorks very user friendly. It did not take much time for me to learn and the training was simple. The help function is also very well organized.
Cons
Well I am not fond of how it generated invoices. They were difficult to view and understand especially when looking back at previous months.

“good choice for a legal practice
Pros
It works excellently. I also like the support. The employees seem to enjoy their jobs and I value that the company is open to our feedback.
Cons
I have no complaints at all. We have never had any issues. However I do wish they would include photos of their staff on their website.

“Poor customer service
Pros
What stood out to me most about TrialWorks software were the clear and unequivocal promises they made. Unfortunately it turned out to be more style than substance.
Cons
What I liked least about TrialWorks even more than the hacking incident that caused an extended shutdown, is the constant flow of empty promises and false representations both before and after. They are very good at making promises but fail to follow through and often make excuses.

“Too many interruptions
Pros
I like having all client data (theoretically) consolidated in one place.
Cons
I have experienced unacceptable service interruptions that have lasted a full week which is problematic for software intended to be mission critical. For an attorney involved in trial work or constantly on the move, this situation feels like a disaster waiting to unfold. It seems their web hosting structure is quite fragile and we have faced multiple interruptions. The latest one has been the tipping point persisting for days. We basically wasted a lot of staff time scanning and training for a system we will now have to replace.

“Needs more features but works well
Pros
I find it very easy to navigate as most people can get around with minimal assistance because of the file cabinet structure that most computer users already know.
Cons
To be honest the biggest drawback for me is the inability to link to document management software. Firms dealing with large document cases need a more advanced way to manage their documents and the file cabinets in TrialWorks just are not sufficient for handling cases with thousands and thousands of documents. We decided to leave TrialWorks for a different solution that integrates directly with Worldox.

“Love the customer support
Pros
TrialWorks is easy to use and with the search function, I can quickly find the data I need. The support team is very helpful and easy to work with.
Cons
It can be a little slow depending on the server so its important to ensure there is plenty of RAM and that SQL is updated.

“Disappointed
Pros
Multiple users can work on the same file and it updates automatically for everyone.
Cons
To me it feels like nothing more than an electronic filing cabinet. I cannot work on documents within the software. Instead I have to keep downloading and uploading them.

“Really helps with my workflow
Pros
I can save emails to cases, use a global address book and send internal hyperlinks of draft documents to team members. Also I really like that we can all work from the same document to avoid having multiple versions.
Cons
When I enter a docket into the calendar, the program adds the email addresses of every team member along with their initials. Its a minor inconvenience to have to check the invitation line for duplicates.

“A brilliant software
Pros
TrialWorks is a great case management software with an easy to navigate interface. It has all the important features for effectively tracking and executing my cases. Recently they partnered with LawToolBox Court Deadlines, so now there is no need to purchase multiple products as everything I need is available in one place.
Cons
I have no complaints here as the sales and support team is the best. They truly listen and work to find solutions for what I need.

“Should be more flexible
Pros
I enjoy real time updates from multiple computers. Its nice to be on the phone with a customer and see updates from others in the office happening in real time.
Cons
TrialWorks is not very agile to use. I constantly have to upload and download documents. It essentially serves as an electronic filing cabinet but I still need to handle all the labeling, tagging and sorting myself.

“I loved using it
Pros
TrialWorks features are impressive. When I input good information into the system I receive great results in return. It makes my job a lot easier. Also it is the best legal system I have used in nearly a decade!
Cons
I do wish it were easier to email multiple documents internally at once instead of having to open each file individually to send it.
