I really appreciate the search function since it helps me quickly locate the document I need. It's also very useful that I can hide a document from other users when necessary. Another feature I value is being able to organize documents by transaction type.

Cons

At the same time the software has been quite unstable. We've dealt with frequent crashes, problems saving documents and times when documents won't attach to an email.

Pros

Right away this software feels very easy for what it is designed to do. The system is accessible, flexible and dependable especially when it comes to searching indexed documents quickly and accurately. I would still recommend training since it helps users take full advantage of how powerful this tool can be for supporting a business or law practice.

Cons

A few of the more advanced security options can be hard to follow. While the Active Directory integration is very helpful, the Ethical Walls configuration has been somewhat confusing and definitely requires a solid understanding to set up properly. That said file security is critically important in a client server or domain environment so the complexity is somewhat understandable.

Pros

Being able to drag and drop emails straight into digital files works really well. It's also very convenient that I can select multiple items at once and move or copy them in a single action.

Cons

While you can drop emails into files, the items INSIDE a file can't be manually rearranged by dragging them up or down in the list view and that is an issue for me.

Pros

Working in a firm that handles a huge volume of documents having a system that can quickly pull up files by document type, name or even specific words within the text is incredibly valuable. It also does a solid job of keeping everything stored securely in one place that can be accessed from anywhere which makes managing and locating documents much more practical.

Cons

One issue I still run into is the loading speed along with occasional technical crashes or glitches. At times it forces me to restart the platform and sometimes even my computer which can be pretty frustrating.

Something I really appreciate about the platform is how simple the file storage system is and I like its document identification feature. The favorites setup works really well and copying or moving files is very easy.

The overall look of the software could be more attractive and offer more customization options for users. After the updates the text in file search feature changed and the previous version was actually more useful for our needs. It would also help to have a more user friendly side menu.

Keeping our client files organized with this product has been very simple and the cloud based version makes it possible to access information from virtually anywhere.

Every now and then it crashes or file updates happen after a delay which interrupts the flow of work.

It handles the basic job it's meant to do and stores documents in a shared system. That said people in my office have a hard time searching for what they need.

The overall setup doesn't feel very organized. Compared with other programs that let you sort documents by folders or by matter this one feels more like a place where files just get dumped. Because of that tracking down a specific document can be frustrating.

The only thing I can give it credit for is that it lets me use it with a lot of other people which is nice. Beyond that I honestly do not have many positives to mention because I really cannot stand this software.

Everything about it is frustrating. I barely know where to start. The software looks like it was built in 1985 and it moves about as fast as a snail. The preset configurations are incredibly annoying and constantly get on my nerves. My boss even told me the other day that if you have not used a button in a while it can just disappear. I genuinely cannot understand how a button can simply vanish. On top of that every time you try to confirm a decision it makes you verify it again which is nothing but a waste of time. It does a terrible job sorting and whenever I run a query it usually cannot find the files I am actually looking for. Saving files from my computer only works about half the time. This is easily the worst program I have ever used and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Pros

Outlook integration isn't required so you can still use it in its own separate window (unlike some other platforms such as FileSite) and that really works well for me. It's also helpful that multiple searches can be open at the same time, there are several viewing options to choose from and the automatic OCR it runs is a big plus.

Cons

I'd like to see imporvement in the the window layout where it automatically adjusts and keeps its structure when the window is resized.

Pros

Working in the legal field is much more manageable with this software. All of our cases, files and documents are stored in this platform under our numbering system so locating the exact document we need is very easy. Even though the platform includes a lot of features it's still simple to figure out when searching for something specific. One thing I really appreciate is being able to choose the type of document I'm saving such as a preservation file, pleading and more. This was recently upgraded and the updated version feels much more modern while also being beginner friendly. It's also helpful that if I forget a client number the system can pull it from the database just by entering the client's name.

Even though the advantages clearly outweigh the downsides I still feel like I'm not taking full advantage of everything the software offers. Despite being properly trained and using it for a few years there are still many features I'm unaware of. I'd really like more visibility into those functions so I can make better use of them going forward.

Pros

Using this software feels a lot like having Google for all of your documents. Being able to apply multiple filters to each document is something I really appreciate because it makes searching incredibly simple. Whether I need to run a broad search for a certain document type or narrow it down to find one exact file it makes the whole process very easy.

I don't have any complaints about it. They even keep deleted documents for a period of time which is incredibly helpful if someone on the network accidentally removes something and you need to recover

Tracking down a document with this system is the simplest process I've come across and the document number it assigns makes locating files even faster. I use it every single day and honestly wouldn't want to be without it. It also offers plenty of storage space which is a big plus.

At this point I really haven't run into anything I dislike about the system. If anything I keep discovering new ways to search for and find my documents more efficiently.

Pros

It provides a lot of detailed information that can be added to files whether for filing groups or individual documents. Administering the system can be somewhat complex but their help desk is excellent, usually responding very quickly and often resolving problems on the first call. Overall it's a very solid solution for firms.

Occasionally the system can feel a bit convoluted and because files are named using a numbered scheme, it can be difficult as an administrator to locate where something is stored if the file path is not readily available.

Pros

One of the biggest strengths of this software is its full text file search which does an incredible job of locating documents that would otherwise be very hard for end users to track down. The preview features are also really helpful since they let people move through large batches of search results quickly and narrow things down without opening every file.

On the downside applying updates has almost always been a mess for us. Before the most recent indexer update we constantly dealt with crashes that forced restarts. They have definitely been trying to make the software more user friendly over the years but even with those improvements, it still feels far from flexible for most users.

Getting this software up and running was simple even for a firm that had never used a document management system before. It usually connects smoothly with other software and their support team is very responsive whenever help is needed.

I would appreciate having more technical details available in the website knowledge base especially troubleshooting guidance and FAQ style resources.

Adding a new document takes far too many steps. Even uploading something simple means choosing several categories which ends up taking a lot of time.

One thing this software does really well is capture our firm's document metadata accurately. It also does an excellent job of making the profiling process more efficient and streamlined.

Since we added encryption to our document servers we've been dealing with slow document retrieval which has been a frustrating issue.

The way documents are organized makes a lot of sense and the search tools work really well. I'm usually able to track down exactly what I need within just a few minutes.

An ongoing frustration is that the indexer freezes pretty often so we have to get IT involved to reset it. It would also help if submatters appeared directly in the matter tree alongside the main matters.
