The app is built very professionally and does a generally solid job of managing documents!

“quick to learn”

Pros

Getting comfortable with the software doesn't take long at all and the interface is simple enough to pick up pretty quickly.

Cons

A downside is that there's no helpful way to create folders or organize things within each section so it can start to feel cluttered and hard to manage.

“Reliable document access”

Pros

After many years of using this software our firm now has more than 15 years of data stored in it and it handles that large database well. Documents are easy to pull up whether they're organized by client or matter number or located through search. The search terms are more basic compared with the boolean or terms and connectors options that newer programs offer but in most cases I've still been able to find the right templates and examples when I need them.

Cons

One drawback is that the interface doesn't feel very accessible or attractive. When I first started I needed a one on one training session with our rep just to get comfortable with the basics and I still haven't had the chance to dig into the more advanced features.

After many years of using this software our firm now has more than 15 years of data stored in it and it handles that large database well. Bringing in new clients and matters from the directory structure is very simple and it also makes searching for files and locating them quick and convenient.

Cons

The indexer is not flawless and will occasionally crash without any warning which can cause problems with search although restarting it usually gets everything working again.

Pros

It handled several parts of contract drafting well. While it was never really a contract management or document storage database it did make the drafting process fairly convenient.

Cons

This was not a good system for storing completed documents or retrieving them efficiently. Other than that there is no proper uninstall process so even years after cancelling, terminating the service and removing it from the network, it can still stay tied into your system. It's incredibly frustrating to deal with software that already failed to meet expectations only to keep running into Excel and Microsoft issues years later because of hidden macros blocking normal use and not being traceable in the system. They also provide no real help when it comes to fully removing the software.

Working with this product has been pretty easy and it does a good job of keeping all of our company's files organized. Managing documents is simpler because the built in search lets you quickly find what you need right inside the software.

Saving documents tends to take longer with this software since you have to enter the document type and also select a category every time.

Getting started with this system was very easy and using it day to day has been simple as well. It gives people the tools they need to build really good websites.

Since it is a single source CMS it needs to be secured and protected properly.

It's been especially valuable how much the software can be customized to match our firm's specific needs. We've also stayed with it through several versions over the years having used it continuously since 2003.
