“work now manageable with this software!”

Pros

Working in the legal field is much more manageable with this software. All of our cases, files and documents are stored in this platform under our numbering system so locating the exact document we need is very easy. Even though the platform includes a lot of features it's still simple to figure out when searching for something specific. One thing I really appreciate is being able to choose the type of document I'm saving such as a preservation file, pleading and more. This was recently upgraded and the updated version feels much more modern while also being beginner friendly. It's also helpful that if I forget a client number the system can pull it from the database just by entering the client's name.

Cons

Even though the advantages clearly outweigh the downsides I still feel like I'm not taking full advantage of everything the software offers. Despite being properly trained and using it for a few years there are still many features I'm unaware of. I'd really like more visibility into those functions so I can make better use of them going forward.

“feels like google for documents with filters”

Pros

Using this software feels a lot like having Google for all of your documents. Being able to apply multiple filters to each document is something I really appreciate because it makes searching incredibly simple. Whether I need to run a broad search for a certain document type or narrow it down to find one exact file it makes the whole process very easy.

Cons

I don't have any complaints about it. They even keep deleted documents for a period of time which is incredibly helpful if someone on the network accidentally removes something and you need to recover

Pros

Tracking down a document with this system is the simplest process I've come across and the document number it assigns makes locating files even faster. I use it every single day and honestly wouldn't want to be without it. It also offers plenty of storage space which is a big plus.

Cons

At this point I really haven't run into anything I dislike about the system. If anything I keep discovering new ways to search for and find my documents more efficiently.

Pros

It provides a lot of detailed information that can be added to files whether for filing groups or individual documents. Administering the system can be somewhat complex but their help desk is excellent, usually responding very quickly and often resolving problems on the first call. Overall it's a very solid solution for firms.

Cons

Occasionally the system can feel a bit convoluted and because files are named using a numbered scheme, it can be difficult as an administrator to locate where something is stored if the file path is not readily available.

One of the biggest strengths of this software is its full text file search which does an incredible job of locating documents that would otherwise be very hard for end users to track down. The preview features are also really helpful since they let people move through large batches of search results quickly and narrow things down without opening every file.

On the downside applying updates has almost always been a mess for us. Before the most recent indexer update we constantly dealt with crashes that forced restarts. They have definitely been trying to make the software more user friendly over the years but even with those improvements, it still feels far from flexible for most users.

Getting this software up and running was simple even for a firm that had never used a document management system before. It usually connects smoothly with other software and their support team is very responsive whenever help is needed.

Cons

I would appreciate having more technical details available in the website knowledge base especially troubleshooting guidance and FAQ style resources.

Pros

Being able to save emails straight from Outlook into this platform is a feature I really appreciate. It's also very helpful that I can set up multiple matters within a file.

Cons

A frustrating part is that our indexer goes down every day. On top of that the software takes a few minutes to open when launching it for the first time.
