“Absolutely Loved Using This”
Pros
When we rolled out our eLearning program, the onboarding flow felt incredibly smooth. Both administrators and learners say the interface is very easy to use. I am impressed by the reporting tools and how easily we can assign courses and monitor trainees' progress without any issue.
Cons
It would be great if users could reset their own PINs when they forget them, I feel adding a self-service PIN reset option would make things much more convenient for everyone.

“Familiar & simple to work with”
Pros
Having used other LMS platforms, the layout feels natural from the first time I log in, it's easy to find what I need. I'm able to upload course content, generate reports and assign trainings without hunting through support docs, everything behaves in a logical, predictable way.
Cons
I'm frustrated by the lack of customization, it feels restrictive when I need to schedule varying start times for multi-day, instructor-led sessions. On top of that, I want more automation, for example, the ability to auto-enroll learners using dynamic groups would save me from manually managing every enrollment.

“Full control but hard to use”
Pros
I can easyly tweak every setting, set up multiple groups and upload all of my own training materials.
Cons
the interface could be friendlier and less visually taxing and I find several workflows and such as adding courses and registering users and need simplification because they feel unnecessarily complex.

“Strong reports, nice for learners”
Pros
I am really impressed by the reporting tools and the overall learner experience they provide. There are a handful of small areas that could be refined to make it even better but overall I'm genuinely delighted with the software and the support team we've had.
Cons
I'd love the ability to tweak the homepage more, it currently feels quite restrictive and doesn't let us personalize it the way we'd like. Additionally there's no option to view how many students missed our sessions, being able to track no-shows would be incredibly useful for managing attendance.

“Excellent platform with great design”
Pros
level of customization lets me shape exactly how learners engage with the material, giving me full control over the experience. The system is very snappy and everything updates instantly, so I can see the results of my edits right away. We moved all of our online training onto this platform recently and to be honest, I am really pleased with how well it's performing so far!
Cons
I wish the essential LMS features we rely on were a bit more mature, since some of the capabilities we need aren't fully there yet. That being said, the team is actively working on improvements and genuinely listens to our input, which I find refreshing and encouraging.

“Strong yet simple and cheap”
Pros
I am genuinely impressed by how capable this platform is. It crams a huge range of features into an interface that's both interactive and affordable.
Cons
Getting up to speed took a while because we're still fairly new to the platform. I'd love to see greater customization options for the public dashboard's layout and appearance.

“Absorb has been an excellent LMS software.”
Pros
Absorb has many different reports that can be pulled and user data can be extracted as well. We invested in integrating with our HRIS software, which allows us to bring in multiple fields and helps in our reporting. The support we receive from our CSM, Jason May, has been outstanding. He is prompt with his replies with clear and concise content. General support has also been helpful to resolve any issues.
Cons
Retrieving data. Wait a few seconds and try to cut or copy again.

“My overall experience with Absorb has been great!”
Pros
Absorb is very user-friendly. The ability to run reports that allow us to track a learner's progress easily is one of the reasons why we chose Absorb as our LMS platform.
Cons
I can't think of anything that I don't like about Absorb LMS. We have had a few technical difficulties here and there, but the Absorb team has always provided a solution.

“Powerful tool with A+ support”
Pros
Truthfully, the number one thing I love about Absorb LMS is working with Melissa Wu! I can't put into words how incredibly knowledgeable she is, responsive, and willing to help. And this level of support doesn't end with her -- Sasha and Brad have also been incredible help throughout the process. Beyond incredible support, we also have loved working with the platform. I enjoy that there are frequent updates to improve the interface continuously.
Cons
I think the only thing I have a hold up on are some things pertaining to course creation and template design. Overall, I think they're incredible. But there may be a few areas for improvement:- The ability to switch template's departments after they are created. I've had to rebuild a few times since we're in development and making the system work best for our use cases. - In course development, it almost seems a little clunky when you have to open all menu items from the top to edit. I recognize why they're hidden, but just a suggestion.

“Whelen Loves Absorb LMS and our CSM Melissa Wu!”
Pros
1) Breadth and depth of features/functions; it serves every use case. 2) Melissa Wu is an exceptional CSM; responsive, knowledgeable, and fun to work with!
Cons
1) Not a terrible thing, but the pre-defined Administrator roles could be explained better, and more specific pre-defined roles would be helpful.

Pros
The team helping us is highly knowledgeable about their product, incredibly responsive, and goes out of their way to find solutions to issues that are unfamiliar to them.
Cons
So far, I have not encountered any areas of the Absorb LMS that I dislike. Presently we are not actively using the software, so this may be a question for later on.

“Great Client Support Service!”
Pros
I love how easy Absorb is to navigate and use. When there is something I am struggling with, Absorb support is always quick to respond and provide a solution. Compared to other LMS' I believe Absorb has the best support and is the easiest to navigate.
Cons
I think the reporting feature could be better. When pulling reports for all courses, I think it would be helpful to filter it so you can pull a report of just the mandatory courses and complete/not complete for employees. It would be helpful to just be able to report on course-->name of employee --> completed/not completed (with the date of completion). I think there are cleaner ways to be able to pull reports and gather course data. It would be helpful to be able to pull a cleaner report that is easier to read without having to pull "export all enrollment data" and have a report with a lot of information that isnt useful to us.

Pros
Absorb was the first LMS we used after launching our eLearning program. Onboarding was very smooth and the site is extremely intuitive for both Admins and Users. We love the reporting options and the ease with which we can assign and track training.
Cons
If I could change one thing it would be to give users the ability to reset a PIN number when they forget it.

“Absorb is great and the Customer Support is fantastic”
Pros
The Customer Support. Absorb has an excellent infrastructure to help its clients meet their training needs. They have the Absorb Academy, ideal for learning the product, and the Absorb Help Center, where you can learn about one-off issues. Most of all, our Client Success Manager, Joel has been great in keeping us know about different products and iterations of the LMS.
Cons
It has some bugs, and it can feel like it takes a little bit of time to get software solutions like the manager experience.

Pros

“Absorb LMS review”
Pros
Absorb LMS is flexible and constantly improving, with a variety of features and a great content library. The intelligence search feature enhances course search, and it comes with many integrations for seamless communication with external environments.
Cons
Configuration setup can be time-consuming. Course organization could be improved, and the system requires users to create modules for data import.

“Resourceful tool with great results”
Pros
Being fairly new at my organization, I find the interface very interactive and easy to use and it's user-friendly enough that I picked up both the administrative tools and the features for regular users much faster than I expected.
Cons
We're finding the attendance marking feature a bit clunky for our needs. I wish there were an extra status we could use for students who show up to a lab but haven't yet satisfied all the requirements for course credit and something more flexible than the current options.

“All in one simple solution”
Pros
It is really handy for jumping into several courses from one place. What I like most is that everything's grouped in a single centralized hub, which makes the entire learning experience much more alignd and easier to manage.
Cons
In my experience, the course pages need some attention, they would benefit from bug fixes and much smoother transitions between sections to make navigation feel more fluid and less choppy.
