Pros

It is very easy to set up and whenever I need answers, there's plenty of information available online.

I really have not run into any significant drawbacks up to this point.

amazing training delivery

Pros

One thing I really like is that they're clearly committed to improving the platform. The move to a more frequent update schedule makes it feel like they genuinely support their users and keep working to make the system better. Overall it's simple thoughtfully designed and practical to use. It works very well for rolling out training across the whole company or targeting specific departments when needed.

Cons

My biggest frustration is that certain features cannot be customized at the individual learner level. Some settings are locked in and applied only at the course or curriculum level which can feel limiting. Having more flexibility to adjust those settings for each learner would make the platform much more useful.

fully customizable tool

Pros

A big plus is how feature rich the platform is, along with the fully customizable options that let it fit our organization's specific needs really well.

Cons

At this point I have not been able to identify any downside to it.

Easy rollout for compliance training

Pros

It is simple to use and rolling it out didn't take much time. Also it is very easy to train other people on how to use the platform. We were able to plug it into our training workflow quickly which has helped us stay on top of compliance requirements.

Cons

Some courses feel too similar so when you're limited to adding only 100 classes to the system, you can end up using two of those spots on classes that cover nearly the same topic.

audit ready reports are the best

Pros

The interface is user friendly and simple so creating and publishing content doesn't take much time. The platform is flexible, the overall user experience is very good and the detailed reporting works well for our audit requirements. It also helps us stay current with compliance and makes it possible to provide annual training reports without extra hassle. Setup was a big advantage too, since getting everything in place was very simple. On top of that it supports upskilling and ongoing education which is important for our internal training efforts.

Cons

One thing I'd really want added is the ability to export content from the authoring tool. Since the training we create is essentially our intellectual property, we should be able to save and keep it outside the platform. That would also give us the option to move the content to another service in the future if we ever needed to switch.

Tool that really delivers

Pros

Across a learner base of more than 20,000 people, the platform does an excellent job of delivering the right courses and content to the right audience. Since user experience matters so much at that scale, it's been a big plus for us that learners consistently respond positively and give strong feedback on the courses.

Cons

On the admin side the interface can feel a bit complex at times and often requires several clicks or steps to finish simple tasks. Bulk actions are fairly limited which becomes frustrating when you're managing hundreds of courses. Reporting is another weak spot, since building reports can be complicated and the basic reporting module often doesn't include all the data points we need.

Reliable tool

Pros

Absorb LMS has been very user friendly for us and it seems to be working really well for managing our contracts.

Cons

A few things have felt inconsistent. Since I am still new to the system, I realize some of that could be user error but there have been times when certain staff members seemed more informed than others depending on the question or topic.

pretty easy to setup

Pros

I find interface simple to navigate which made getting around the system much easier. The creator module and the Manager Interface have also been especially useful features for what I need. On top of that the initial setup process was uncomplicated so the transition went very smoothly.

Cons

The frustrating part is having to keep creating ILS sessions just so we can update employees' learning history.

modern interface and quick access

Pros

Getting users to the right content and launching it is very easy. One thing that really stood out to me was how modern its interface is compared with other LMS platforms.

Cons

I feel like the front end could use more customization options and I'd also like better support for integrating widgets.

Everything done right

Pros

Compared with other learning platforms I have used, this one has taken away a lot of the usual frustration. It really delivers a true what you see is what you get experience and the reporting is clear and simple. I also like that updates are built directly into the screens I use all the time instead of making me figure out complicated reporting tools or data manipulation workflows.

Cons

One thing I would still like is more flexible templates for the learner dashboard that are easier to manage. Right now the containers feel a bit complicated and not very adjustable. More customization options would also be nice especially something similar to the dynamic sections and pages introduced in the newer SharePoint update.

Offers excellent support

Pros

Using Absorb LMS has been a really positive experience because the platform is very user friendly. The interface is simple so both admins and learners can find their way around without much effort. The reporting capabilities and automation tools are also a big plus, since they make training management more efficient, save time and improve the overall learning experience. On top of that the customer service has been exceptional.

Cons

A couple of areas could still be improved such as I'd like to see more admins given access to the MANAGER area for handling direct reports and I'd also welcome more AI-driven assistance which I understand is already on the way with Aura.

Top tool!

Pros

Having such a broad library of built-in content available right in the system has been a huge plus for us. Being able to upload our own materials or build custom content as well, all while keeping every part of our training in one central place, has been incredibly valuable. Our Project Manager, Luke Valentine, has also been outstanding from start to finish during implementation. He often caught mistakes we had made before we even had to mention them and he was always available whenever we needed help. The way he guided us through the setup process made everything feel manageable and kept us confident the whole time.

Cons

At this point I really cannot point to any downsides because it has been such a major improvement over the system we were using before.

A complete tool overall

Pros

Being able to build our own training inside the platform to match our specific needs has been a huge plus. It brings all of our training options together in one system which makes everything much simpler to organize and manage.

Cons

There are a lot of customization features available and that can feel a little overwhelming in the beginning especially when you're still learning how everything works.

Has standout AI tools

Pros

Getting started with this platform happened much quicker than we anticipated because the interface is very clear on both the learner side and the admin side. The support and implementation teams were extremely helpful throughout the process and having a dedicated Implementation Project Manager made a big difference since they walked us through each step. The AI content creation features have been a real game changer as well, helping us produce content that looks modern, professional and consistent with our brand.

Cons

There really isn't much to complain about especially since the community can submit suggestions directly to the developers for changes customers want to see. If I had to point to anything, it would be some technical limitations around creating roles by department.

support standout to me

Pros

Our end users have been really happy with how simple the platform is to navigate and on the admin side, there's a strong set of capabilities and options to work with. More than anything, the support from the team has been excellent all the way through, from the RFP stage to implementation and now into everyday operations.

Cons

We only launched the system about six months ago so we're still getting familiar with everything. At this point we really have not come across any specific dislikes yet.

Reliable platform

Pros

The interface is very user friendly and the platform has been reliable with amazing security in place. Customer support is helpful and responsive whenever needed and managing courses and content is easy too.

user friendly platform with great potential

Pros

Absorb LMS is very user friendly for both administrators and learners to navigate which makes using the platform feel natural on both sides.

Cons

The thing I'd love to see grow further is the upcoming AI functionality. It would be really useful if learners could ask questions and automatically get pointed to the most relevant training or if AI could help tailor admin dashboard widgets and reporting.

Pros

From teams of around 100 people to organizations with more than 1,000 employees, this is the most scalable learning management system I have used. It handles growth really well and consistently delivers results as the company expands.
