“Great platform for online courses
Pros
Using Amplifire Elearning has been a really positive experience because the platform is very simple to use and the courses are easy to follow. We ran into a minor issue at one point and the support team handled it very quickly. Overall it has been a big help in our daily work since it's a very great platform for delivering online courses to our students.
Cons
We have not come across anything we dislike or consider a drawback.

“A great way to enhance student grasp of concepts
Pros
With this software, students have the flexibility to spend as much time as they need with the questions in an asynchronous manner. They can repeat question sets until they achieve mastery and confidently provide perfect answers. The question sets are supplemented with additional instructions, followed by opportunities to attempt similar questions and reinforce learning. This process fosters deeper understanding and better retention. Students find this approach both enjoyable and interesting.
Cons
Creating modules has a learning curve. However, the Amplifire staff provided excellent assistance in teaching us how to develop questions and instructions. Once the modules are created, they continuously educate students without requiring further faculty time investment.

“it has customizable modules!
Pros
One thing that really works well with this product is how much it can be tailored to the material being taught. Students enjoy the challenge of getting through the weekly modules successfully and the customer support team has been outstanding whenever needed.
Cons
At the beginning, there were a few glitches with grading but those issues have since been fixed.

“detailed reporting and top support
Pros
Its biggest strength is how much reporting and learner data it gives me. I can also pull detailed statistics, track course progress and see a huge amount of information about both the course and the students. Course creation is also very easy for me almost like putting together a PowerPoint slide. My favorite part though is the support team. They are kind, professional, very responsive and always willing to help. They truly make my job easier and I like them a lot.
Cons
The SCORM workflow is the part I struggle with most because it takes quite a few steps and a good amount of time to finish. Since I only go through the SCORM process once each quarter, I usually have to look back at my notes or reach out to the team for help. There are simply more steps involved than I can realistically remember after three months.

“powerful adaptive learning insights
Pros
Amplifire has been a very effective adaptive learning platform for us and it makes the learner experience much more efficient. We've seen people finish training in about 30% to 50% less time compared with traditional eLearning. Another big advantage is how quickly it starts assessing both learner knowledge and their confidence levels. That leads to a really useful dashboard showing exactly where learners struggled by topic and learning objective including Confidently-Held Misinformation when someone believes they understand the material but actually does not. Being able to break that information down by individual learners or by groups has been incredibly valuable.
Cons
One limitation right now is that the standard reports feel a bit restricted. That said, it already has more built-in reporting on the product roadmap and expects to roll it out within the next 30 to 60 days.

“Good tool
Pros
It's a really great way to reinforce learning. When someone is having trouble with a topic, it automatically brings that subject back so the learner spends more time on what they need to improve.
Cons
Well it is a little challenging because learning itself can be difficult. Some learners may not enjoy using it for that reason, even though I do think it's necessary for certain topics.

“provide deeper training insights
Pros
The tool gives us visibility that goes well beyond simple course completion. It highlights things like confidently held misinformation, uncertainty and where learners are struggling which makes it much easier to understand how the training is actually performing.
Cons
We're continuing to expand how we use it because, at this point, we really have not come across any downsides with the platform.

“training that works
Pros
A major strength is how it pairs confidence levels with multiple-choice questions. And because it's presented as a training tool rather than a test, it works really well. The interface also looks clean and engaging and the feedback always helps learners gain something useful from each session.
Cons
The platform depends heavily on having well-built questions and answer choices so weak content can definitely limit how effective it is. That said, it does offer support to help avoid those issues and authors can be trained on the best way to create strong content.

“Targeted learning that clicks
Pros
One thing that really makes this tool work is its focus on confidently held misinformation. It identifies what learners feel sure about but actually have wrong, then zeroes in on those exact gaps. That makes the training far more precise and cuts a huge amount of time out of the learning process. Our learners are even saying things like, That was fun! and Can I take that again? responses we honestly never used to hear about training. A thoughtfully built Amplifire course takes around 40 minutes while the same material in a classroom setting would usually take 4 to 8 hours.
Cons
At this point we are hoping to combine this one with other tools that can handle full workflow sequence training. The goal is to build an effective fully remote onboarding experience for our physicians, providers and residents.

“Great learning that targets gaps
Pros
The thing I really like is being able to dig into the areas where learners are having trouble and clearly spot knowledge gaps. The adaptive course design then steers users toward the content that will actually help close those gaps. On the other hand, if someone already knows the material well, they can move through the course more quickly by showing they've mastered the content.
Cons
Getting interactive content set up was challenging. It took more HTML knowledge than I had so that part wasn't very fun for me. But he team guided me through it step by step and gave me thorough instructions for adding the interactive pieces. Even though the process was complicated, I felt supported the whole way through.

“Simplifies tracking

“Good for course building
Pros
From the admin side, Amplifire is easy to use when creating courses and it's also very user friendly for learners. The reporting is especially strong, giving managers a clear view of where learners are doing well, where they struggle and what follow-up learning should be assigned.
Cons
I have not run into anything difficult with the software itself. The trickiest part is really writing strong distractor options for multiple-choice questions, since the incorrect answers need to sound believable enough to make learners stop and think.

“powerful reporting and real outcomes
Pros
Amplifire is built on cognitive science and delivers real, measurable learning results. The reporting tools in the platform are far better than anything I have seen in other learning technology. It helps you pinpoint exactly where learners are struggling and even uncover wrong information they feel confident about something that just wouldn't be possible without it.
Cons
Honestly there aren't many downsides. The only challenge is that its approach is still new enough that it can take some time to show people how to use the platform effectively. At first glance it can seem like just an assessment engine, when in reality it combines training, assessment and remediation in one system.

“Helps with studying better
Pros
One thing that really works well is how it reinforces learning. If someone is struggling with a topic, the platform automatically brings them back to it and makes sure they spend more time studying it.
Cons
Learning isn't always comfortable and it reflects that. Because it pushes learners to keep working on the areas they struggle with some people may find it difficult or not especially enjoyable, even though that extra effort is exactly what they need.

“learning science done right
Pros
This platform really stands out for how well it applies evidence-based learning science. Test-based learning and spaced retrieval are among the most effective methods for building declarative knowledge and it's nice to see those principles used so well here.
Cons
One thing that would make it even better is having the option to export the educational content into Word files.

“Science-backed learning powerhouse
Pros
After more than a decade working in this field, I still have not found another product with this much research and evidence behind it. Add in how easy it is to use, the almost unlimited content possibilities and the built-in content libraries and it really is like a top-tier platform. Overall it is a proven solution based on learning science, with features that are both powerful and easy to use.
Cons
Honestly I am having a hard time naming any downside here as I genuinely cannot think of anything I dislike.

“faster learning, helpful team
Pros
Once you've been trained on the authoring side, creating materials is very easy. The support team is fantastic and always ready to help or offer guidance whenever needed. On the learner side, users seem to pick things up faster in Amplifire and the platform is more comfortable and flexible than traditional methods especially when speed matters.
Cons
The spell check feature still needs work and some of the formatting options could be better. Copying and pasting content can also be frustrating because special formatting doesn't always transfer properly which makes the process confusing at times.

“Onboarding game changer
Pros
Since COVID changed how organizations deliver training, bringing employees together for in-person sessions is no longer as practical as it used to be. Being able to handle onboarding through Amplifire has been a real game changer, not just for our training team but for our onboarding staff as well. We also really appreciate how well it integrates with our LMS.
Cons
I'd still like to see more ideas and examples around gamification and the different ways it could be used in that area. Other than that, I really don't have any complaints to mention.
