“Not impressed at all

Pros

Honestly, I can't say much when it comes to pros because it didn't have exactly what we were looking for. My drivers had a difficult time finding time to log in.

Cons

One major dislike I would like to mention is that automatic renewal requires a 60-day written notice which is not ideal.

“Does exactly what it needs to do

Pros

I'm a big fan of Easyllama because once you get the hang of it, it's relatively easy to use. There is a wide range of trainings available to choose from and they're short enough. Also l like the fact that our team can pause and pick up where they left off. The integrations with Slack and email are also helpful. I must say Easyllama has definitely made improvements over the years.

Cons

Am honestly not sure if this is the best option out there. The training materials feel a bit too cheesy even though I know thats pretty common with platforms like this. Plus the billing system is quite confusing too. To top it off, I would not even know where to start if I needed help. So I feel like adding a chat support feature would really make a difference.

“A great resource for training programs

Pros

EasyLlama course content is very nicely designed and also the software is ease of use. Moreover notifications are automatic so I rarely fall behind on recertifications.

Cons

I feel like it would be better if it reports back to administration about those who have not started renewing or acknowledged emails.

“User-friendly software

Pros

Easy Llama is quite user friendly and simple to learn as an administrator. Plus I love that it notifies me of renewal dates for ongoing learning and allows me to easily send reminders through the system or share a link for email notifications. The Harassment Prevention content is updated to reflect current issues which makes it more engaging each year.

Cons

I cannot think of anything I dislike about this product. We have not tried uploading our own content yet,but it would be great if that feature were available.

“Easy to set up and fits in the budget

Pros

I love how Easy Llama's UX design makes everything so simple and easy to navigate. Also it is highly intuitive and everything feels easily accessible whether I am using it as an admin or a trainee.

Cons

Our employees seems a bit confused about why their harassment training is longer than that of others in different states within the same organization. I think it will be helpful to include an explanation at the top about why some trainings are two hours versus 30 minutes.

“Fully recommended

Pros

I cannot say enough good things about EasyLlama. We were on a deadline to switch from our old vendor and they made the whole process so smooth and quick from start to finish. I was able to upload their content right into our existing platform without any hassle and their dashboard is very easy to use. Plus they're also quite responsive and quick to sort out any problems. On top of that, everything is fully customizable which is such a rare find. I'd highly recommend them!

Cons

Easy Llama has been fantastic! Honestly we have no complaints. Whenever we have wanted changes, our amazing rep has worked with the content team or connected us directly to make those adjustments.

“A big fan of it....

Pros

I work at a startup, so am juggling a lot of roles at once. So I was looking for anything that simplifies my job. And to be honest EasyLlama does it for me. I think the llama character makes everything more fun and easy on the eyes. During a company outing, I even overheard some employees chatting about the "mascots" of the different products we use, and of course, the llama was one of the favorites. It makes it quite simple to keep track of who's completed their training. Plus it sends out reminders and gives me a weekly report on whats going on with my team. I also love that it creates a certificate for each employee once they finish their training and it's downloadable. Let's be real, any training platform that saves me from having to create content, stay on top of state laws for remote employees or act as the trainer is a lifesaver. Plus, employees can complete their training whenever it fits their schedule, so there is no need to coordinate around anyone else's availability. It is just such a relief to have a tool that works this smoothly.

Cons

I really cannot think of any downsides to this product. However it might be fun if the Llama had a voice.

“Provides great training videos

Pros

The software is easy to use with a flexible schedule which allows me to start and stop training as needed. And the topical videos are engaging and not boring at all.

Cons

I just wish I could purchase just one or two sessions for new employees as they are hired. Small companies do not always need to buy a block of five trainings.

“Exceptional HR training needs

Pros

Using Easy Llama for HR training especially for those who are not computer savvy, worked really well. I love how it tracks everyones progress once they are entered into the system, showing whether they have completed their training. After years of struggling with harassment training, this tool has been a huge time and energy saver for us.

Cons

Most of the difficulties I experienced with the product were due to my lack of knowledge not the product itself. Whenever I called customer service they were amazing as they respond on the same day. They were very helpful, friendly and never made me feel bad in any manner.

The Harassment Prevention video is not just informative but its also entertaining and keeps our employees engaged throughout.

Even though we like harassment prevention video but it seems a bit long however that might be because of state requirements.

Easy Llama is user friendly and proven quite beneficial for us. Also the format is quite enjoyable for participants while covering all the necessary topics.

“Has excellent features

Pros

For us it is important to track who's completed their training and being able to print out certificates without having to chase employees for that info. EasyLlama allow us to do this. Plus the trainings we used were really interactive, so employees actually had to pay attention to answer the questions. And assigning trainings through email invites is so convenient as it makes the whole process so much easier.

Cons

I would like to see more training subjects available.

I love the modern content and format of the compliance trainings they offer. Its so much better than the typical boring awkward training videos. I have never received so many compliments from employees about compliance training before! Its also easy to use from both a user and an admin perspective.

I love that Easy Llama made the Harassment training interactive and less painful. Also its great that employees can complete the course at their own pace instead of having to attend a company-wide meeting.

It would be great to integrate with some payroll providers. We use Paylocity and integrating the training into the onboarding process would be very useful.

Easy Llama is a simple, easy to manage training platform with a very reasonable cost per user/course. The purchase process was quick and setting it up with an upload of our users was fast. Unlike other online training options we have used, there was no complicated implementation.

Cons

For some companies, EasyLlama might not offer enough of an LMS backend. It seems to be a stand alone solution for EasyLlama content only. This was not a problem for us as the reporting function worked well for our imports into the HRIS system.

Easy Llama offers a variety of courses to choose from which I like the most. Also it is very easy to manage from an administrative perspective and the course content is relevant and up-to-date.

Cons

I did like to be able to provide logins and passwords to participants at my level. This is not a major issue though.

I love not having to keep track of my teams renewal dates. Easy Llama sends me monthly emails with updates on which team members are due for renewal!

Cost is s bit too high for us but its worth it at the same time.

Pros

I like the bilingual software option. Since we have both English and Spanish speakers, we only need to run two classes for our team. The scenarios are the same for both languages and the training is very interactive.

I wish there was an option to click ahead sometimes. For example, with the cards you have to flip over, I have to wait until the video finishes speaking before I can flip them. If I flip them over before the video is done, I still need to complete the task before moving on to the next part.

Pros

Navigating the website and assigning training to our team members is easy. It helps us keep track of who has completed training when it was done and when it will need to be done again.

Cons

We have a dedicated training computer room for new hires. It would be great if administrators could access the training links for individual trainees directly instead of them having to log in to their personal emails on the training computer to get the link.

The training content is superb, fun, highly interactive and the least painful online training I have ever experienced. Kudos to you!

It meets our needs but I was surprised by the limited number of courses offered. I did prefer a better way to organize multiple courses on the same subject, like Harassment Prevention. It would also be helpful to change due dates in bulk or on the same screen rather than dealing with a pop-up every time I change one. Also I did like to select or skip individual trainings for renewal without having to go into each learners profile. More integration with HRMS beyond just user management would be a nice addition.

Its very easy for both administrators and employees to use. Unlike other online training courses, there is no long-term commitment required before using it. We can simply purchase the necessary credits.

Previous version of Easy Llama software was better. The current version is a bit complex for me to find the functions I need. It has been updated so frequently that it confuses administrators every time we want to assign training.

The software is fantastic from both a user and administrator perspective. The onboarding process is efficient, clearly explained and easily implemented. I have also received very positive feedback from team members about the presentation of the training material. Several team members noted that the varied and interactive presentation tools helped them retain the information and were particularly beneficial for non neurotypical learners.

Cons

A small suggestion form my side and that is the search bar for assigning new trainings does not seem to let me limit results to the trainings our institution is using. This increases the time spent typing and scrolling to find the right training. It would be great to have an option to create a "short list" or library of trainings to choose from before navigating the entire list.

Other than the length of time to complete (which I think is out of their control) , no Cons come to mind.
