“Top training platform”

Pros

One thing I liked most about Forma LMS was how flexible it is and how well it supports structured learning. It gives you great control over courses, learning paths and certifications without locking you into a complex way of working. It fits employee training really well, scales without much trouble and makes it easier to shape the platform around real business needs instead of changing your processes just to match the software.

Cons

The part I liked least about this LMS is that the interface can come across as a little dated and not always user friendly. Some configuration steps take a while to figure out and a few features involve extra clicks or manual setup. Once everything is configured, it becomes a very capable system but the early learning curve and overall UI experience could definitely be better.

Pros

Having an open-source platform gives us full control over both the data and the infrastructure which is crucial for staying compliant with GDPR. I was also really impressed by the multi-client architecture since it lets us handle different environments for multiple internal departments from a single installation. On top of that the plugin system is very friendly for developers so we can introduce new features without having to alter the core code.

Cons

Compared with more modern SaaS platforms like Docebo, the UI/UX feels a bit dated and the backend admin area can be intimidating because there are so many options packed into it. The initial setup is also far from plug-and-play for non-technical users since it takes some technical familiarity with the Linux/LAMP stack to get everything configured properly.

It helps make sure every rep receives accurate, consistent information which is really important for us. The interface is also user friendly, user management is simple and well organized and the SCORM tracking system is accurate and reliable. It gave us the ability to customize the platform in depth, adapting it to the needs of both corporate and public-sector clients. The active community and ongoing open-source development are also a big plus since they keep the system up to date and performing well.

Cons

I haven't run into any major issues. The platform works well both for our internal team activities and for managing courses intended for our clients. If I had to point to one improvement that would add even more value, it would be the introduction of an official mobile app which would make the experience even more accessible and dynamic.

The software offers a complete set of features and delivers very good value for the money. The platform is also highly customizable and it integrates fully with our legacy TMS which drives most of the LMS functionality for us.

The user-facing design is a bit dated visually. On the admin side especially for internal experts and trainers, the backend management is not very well optimized and the interface is not very user friendly.
