“Simple yet have a high-quality product

Pros

HSI provides quality content in a really easy to use format. Users can quickly get to their required training and complete it without any hassle. Supervisors can easily track progress with pre-made reports that are also simple to customize. From an admin perspective, setting up the system was simple, and now I only need to check in briefly and regularly. In short HSI has been awesome to work with as they provided plenty of helpful information during the setup phase and are quick to respond whenever I have any questions about the system.

Cons

Our organization doesn't have an email for each employee, so updating passwords requires admin intervention, but we've managed to set up a good system.

“Virtual training at its best

Pros

This training has been great for keeping track of all our compliance training and making sure we meet all the requirements. It also gave our employees the flexibility to take the training whenever it fit into their schedules. We have been using it for years and will definitely keep using it moving forward.

Cons

It didn't work well with tablets at first, but now there are very few issues.

“Happy with our choice

Pros

My experience with Vivid Learning and HSI has been really great. The variety of OSHA awareness safety courses available in the library is impressive and I love that I can either use SCORM files for direct LMS integration or just stick with the HSI LMS. Both options are excellent.

Cons

I can't really pinpoint a "least" desired feature, but for our Oil & Gas industry needs, having OSHA safety course content specific to Oil & Gas (like imagery and other topics) would be ideal. However, the courses we have are adequate, and we can build custom courses with the Vivid Learning / HSI team.

“Our go-to option for LMS training

Pros

Setting up the system to provide training to our team is very simple. They also update the training regularly to keep it current.

Cons

Some reports are not exactly what I need, but a quick call to customer service and they will run it for you.

“A reliable solution for safety education

Pros

HSI software is simple to use, and the customer service is excellent. Plus I'm excited to explore the new supervisor development training options and see how they can benefit us.

Cons

I need to get a better understanding of how the software works when I make changes to assignments. as it's a bit unclear to me right now.
