I thought the system would be simple for my employees, but the coursework ended up taking several hours out of their day.
Cons
The sales team was deceptive and tried to get us to renew the program after we'd already told them it wasn't working for us. We paid for a year and didn't like it. As a supposed "Leader in their industry," they should have shown good faith and helped us find something that suits our company better.

The best feature of this software is its customization. The content can be adjusted to be as detailed or as general as needed for each individual employee's course enrollments. The reporting ease for compliance and performance has been extremely beneficial.

The site is very versatile and customizable, but without a solid plan for how to manage it internally, it can be overwhelming. Luckily, their support team is excellent at helping with these challenges and tailoring the site to my needs.

Assigning online training to my EMS providers is very easy. The classes are packed with useful and up-to-date information. Providers can earn CEUs for state and national recertification on their own time. They offer a broad range of topics that challenge all levels of EMS certifications.
Cons
During a training session, you can pause and resume the class overall, but not in the middle of a video. If you log out while watching a segment, you'll need to watch it all over again. Fortunately, these segments are kept reasonably short, so this isn't a huge issue.

The software makes it easy to add new employees and start their training right away. It's quite intuitive. When there are issues, customer service is great at resolving them. The content is accurate and regularly updated, with engaging storylines and animations. From an admin perspective, it allows for report generation and tracking compliance rates efficiently. It also tracks other training events not included in the software. I would absolutely recommend this training software to companies.
Cons
It would be useful to send a custom email to all users who are overdue (maybe this feature already exists, but I'm not aware of it). I know the system sends out emails for 1 day overdue, 15 days overdue, etc., but I'd like the option to create and send my own.

However, from an admin perspective, it's a bit more complex with a steeper learning curve due to the vast options available. While the flexibility is great, it can be a bit overwhelming until you figure out what you need. Overall, it's very well organized and easy to navigate.

Our organization doesn't have an email for each employee, so updating passwords requires admin intervention, but we've managed to set up a good system.

The variety of OSHA awareness safety courses in the library and the option to use SCORM files for direct LMS integration or utilize the HSI LMS are both outstanding.
Cons
I can't really pinpoint a "least" desired feature, but for our Oil & Gas industry needs, having OSHA safety course content specific to Oil & Gas (like imagery and other topics) would be ideal. However, the courses we have are adequate, and we can build custom courses with the Vivid Learning / HSI team.
