Ideal for training

Pros

Putting together quick training videos, longer interactive courses and even a bit of friendly competition for learners is very simple with iSpring Suite. The platform is easy to use and their support team has been excellent. Just today, a support agent helped me get everything set up on my new laptop in about a minute which was incredibly helpful.

Cons

Like a lot of LMS platforms, it does require moving files around a little more than I'd prefer but honestly that's the only downside I have run into.

Pretty easy to use

Pros

iSpring Suite is very easy to use and the technical support has been excellent whenever we've needed help. It has really helped us speed up and simplify the process of creating course content for our LMS.

Cons

Honestly I have nothing much to complain about. If I had to point to one downside, it would be the price. Like a lot of software subscriptions, it is more expensive than it probably should be.

offers reliable support

Pros

Working with iSpring Suite is natural because it fits right into PowerPoint so if you already know PowerPoint, there's barely any learning curve at all. It's very easy to use, quick to learn and simple to start creating with. Another big plus is the customer support team as they respond quickly and have been consistently dependable.

Cons

There are still a few bugs that need attention. The platform also comes with some limitations. For example the player is fixed and would be much better with more customization options. On top of that the pricing is a bit high for the features currently included and the overall design is fairly basic and could use a more polished, visually appealing look.

interactive learning that delivers

Pros

Building courses with iSpring Suite has been a really positive experience. It offers interactive learning features, is like excellent value for the money and the customer support has been very reliable. Also the platform is easy to use, course creation is simple too and overall I absolutely love using this tool.

Cons

One area that could be stronger is the reporting. Also it would be much better to have more options for slicing and analyzing the data. It would also be very helpful if the system could send reminders when certifications are due for renewal or need to be completed again.

Provide the best support

Pros

iSpring Suite is very user friendly and getting started with it doesn't take much effort. Plus it offers many interactive tools and I really like how well it integrates with PowerPoint. The standout part for me is the support team as they've been incredibly responsive every time I ran into an issue and helped right away. Another big plus is that the product keeps improving with regular updates so the overall experience continues to get better over time.

Cons

Well I'd really like to see improved is narration support for the Serbian language. It would also be very helpful to have captions available in Serbian as well as other languages. On top of that adding captions for interactive slides and quizzes in general would be a very welcome improvement.

provide very engaging courses

Pros

One thing that really stands out is how fast and helpful the customer support team is whenever we need assistance. The suite gives us the tools to build interactive, animated courses and includes voice options that can sound surprisingly human. The core tools in Manage Narration are also good and user friendly to work with. I also like the variety of quiz formats which helps us put together useful and engaging e-learning content.

Cons

On the downside, certain settings are harder to locate than they should be, like turning on the caption button or requiring learners to watch the full slide before continuing. There is usually a tutorial online but finding it can be frustrating because it is tucked away deep in multiple layers of sections. Because of that, I often end up reaching out to support and while they are always responsive and helpful, it still takes extra time since I have to explain the issue and wait for them to track down the right documentation. As for the narration voices, a few of them sound very natural but most come across as robotic and not very pleasant to hear. That means spending too much time going through the options to find ones that actually fit the course.

Pricing is the best

Pros

Coming from PowerPoint, getting started with iSpring Suite was not a problem because the workflow is so similar and all those PowerPoint skills carry right over into course authoring. The built-in tools let you add gamification, role play scenarios and many other engaging elements. You can design training around one main character or use several different characters which adds a lot of flexibility. The finished courses look polished and professional and publishing straight to the LMS is easy too. There are also helpful user guides for many course creation tasks, along with short videos in the resource library when you need a quick reference. On top of that customer support has been responsive and genuinely helpful. And honestly the pricing is hard to beat.

Cons

I really don't have any suggestions for improvement. I have not explored every single feature yet but based on everything I have used so far, I have been happy with all of it.

Good for course creation

Pros

It is easy to build courses with iSpring Suite and the variety of interactive learning features really helps keep students engaged. I can quickly turn course outlines and PowerPoint presentations into full courses which saves a lot of time. On top of that the customer support team is responsive and actually helpful when needed.

Cons

Because there are so many features included, starting out can feel a bit overwhelming at first. That said, most of the tools are fairly quick to pick up once you spend a little time with them.

Has a really great experience

Pros

Working with iSpring Suite has been really positive because it offers a wide range of features to use. As a trainer, I rely on the PowerPoint integration along with the narration tools to build desktop training modules. There are plenty of customization options available which I really appreciate and overall the platform is very easy to use.

Cons

One frustration is that the audio settings or files can sometimes disappear from the PowerPoint presentation. That has caused problems for me especially when I have had to rebuild a staff training I originally created last year.

Tool that delivers

Pros

The value here is really amazing. It gives you strong course creation tools, it's easy to work with and the support team has been very helpful. Being able to move from building content in PowerPoint to creating something much more interactive through the iSpring integration is a fantastic advantage.

Cons

A few parts of the slide properties can be confusing and setting up quiz scoring so it counts toward course completion gets a bit tricky when publishing to SCORM for an LMS that isn't part of it.

Pros

Everything with it felt very simple, even as a first-time user. After watching a few training videos, I was able to build my course on my own without much trouble.

Easy to access

Pros

This program is very accessible especially if you're new to creating e-learning content. It lets me build more interactive courses without having to deal with a steep learning curve which is a big plus as a course creator. The interaction features are especially useful for online training because they help keep learners engaged.

Cons

One frustration has been the bugs that come up when uploading SCORM packages to my LMS. I have run into issues like letters disappearing from interactions and some interactions not functioning the way they should. As my course design skills have grown, I have also started wanting more flexibility and customization options within the interaction features.

Helps create engaging courses

Pros

Using iSpring has become one of my favorite ways to build engaging online courses and learning content. I was first drawn to it because it let me make the most of the PowerPoint skills I already had and then I realized it could do far more than I expected. It blends nicely into the design workflow I already use and consistently helps me create high-quality online course materials.

Cons

Honestly there are very few downsides. The character library used to make it a bit harder to find the exact match I wanted but it keeps growing and that really isn't much of an issue anymore.

Proven highly beneficial for us

Pros

Building structured online courses and quizzes right inside PowerPoint is the biggest benefit here. If you already know your way around slides, there's barely any learning curve which made rollout simple and practical for our team. The quiz tools are good too. We're able to set up question banks, randomize questions and create interactive assessments without making the workflow feel complicated. Publishing to SCORM is pretty easy and it works reliably with our LMS. Considering how much functionality is included, it is like strong value especially when course creation and assessments are the main priority.

Cons

Once projects start getting larger, keeping everything organized becomes a much more manual task. Managing big quiz banks and multiple file versions can get messy especially when several people are involved. Some of the customization settings also feel a bit restricted, particularly if you want more control over the player or page layout. And when publishing doesn't behave the way it should, troubleshooting can take a while. It's usually something that can be resolved but the platform doesn't always make the cause obvious. Clearer error messages or more built-in guidance would make the experience better.

Simple to use tool

Pros

iSpring Suite is very easy to use. Plus it supports building anything from basic lessons to more advanced, detailed courses depending on what you're trying to create. I also appreciate the good range of quiz and test question types, since it gives me more options for evaluating learners in different ways.

Cons

I'd still like to see a broader selection of background images and character assets that better fit my industry. The general AI assistant also hasn't been especially useful for what I need.

support is top notch

Pros

Right from the start iSpring Suite has been very easy to use and the customer support has been amazing. The screen recording feature makes it really simple to build learning content with voiceovers, including translated versions when needed.

Cons

Provide the best output

Pros

It is quite user friendly, approachable and thoughtfully put together and it has quickly become one of my favorite eLearning authoring tools. I didn't need a lot of training to get going which made it easy to start building polished, professional-looking content almost immediately. The text-to-speech feature has been especially valuable. It sounds natural and refined and it saves me a huge amount of time compared to recording everything manually while still delivering a high-quality experience for learners. When you combine that with the interactive quiz options, creating engaging courses that hold attention and support knowledge retention becomes much more manageable. The customization features are another big advantage. There are plenty of design tools, templates and settings available so I can adapt content to fit our branding and specific training goals. Whether I am putting together a short refresher or a larger course with multiple lessons, I still feel like I have full control over how everything turns out. Publishing is also very easy. I can export SCORM-compliant packages in just a few clicks and upload them directly into our LMS without running into compatibility problems. The whole workflow is quick, reliable and efficient. Overall, it is a capable, user friendly all-in-one platform that makes course creation feel far less overwhelming and much more enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to create professional eLearning efficiently.

Cons

One area that causes frustration is its project folder structure. The software creates a large, messy directory with lots of subfolders containing media, assets and configuration files. That may make sense technically but from a user perspective it isn't very friendly. Managing organizing or moving project files is awkward because the entire folder structure has to remain exactly as it is for the project to keep working properly. If a folder gets renamed or moved by mistake, it can easily break links or damage the project. For teams handling a large number of courses or saving projects in shared locations, this inflexible folder setup adds extra complexity that doesn't really need to be there.

Excellent value for price

Pros

iSpring Suite offers excellent value because it bundles several e-learning tools into one package such as PowerPoint conversion, quizzes, interactions, screen recording and video editing. Having all of that in a single platform cuts down on the need to purchase separate software which makes it a very cost-effective option for training and learning development teams. Building courses is incredibly easy too. Since everything works directly inside PowerPoint, the process is also familiar and quick and it's easy to get productive fast. The built-in templates, quiz types and interaction layouts save a lot of development time and make it possible even for non-technical users to put together polished, professional looking content. The interactive features, including quizzes, dialogue simulations, role plays and branched scenarios, do a lot to keep learners engaged. Instead of ending up with static slide-based training, it's much easier to create content that is active and dynamic. Another huge plus is how user friendly the whole suite is. The interface is also good, well-structured and very similar to Microsoft Office so there's barely any learning curve. Support has also been very reliable as responses are usually fast and the team gives clear step-by-step help, along with video tutorials or documentation links that make troubleshooting simple. On top of that the interface is clean, practical and uncluttered, with buttons and features placed logically so moving between tools like QuizMaker, Cam Pro and interactions was smooth.

Cons

There are still a few areas where it could get even better. Some of the more advanced options especially when it comes to customizing interactions could offer more flexibility for experienced designers. Larger course projects can also take a bit longer than expected to publish or export. And while the current design tools are good but having more modern themes and template styles would help speed up course design even more.

powerpoint to canvas works brilliantly

Pros

PowerPoint integration has been essential for creating most of our online content and publishing directly to Canvas LMS makes it simple to deliver materials across many countries. The addition of iSpring Cloud has also been a really valuable upgrade to our delivery options.

Cons

The PC-only authoring side can still be a drawback for Mac users, even though iSpring Cloud has helped reduce that limitation. A few of the interactions are also starting to feel a bit dated and I'd be happy to see more AI features added in the future.

Pros

Having it built right into the PowerPoint ribbon makes the whole process really convenient. It is natural to use, there's no steep learning curve or complicated setup to deal with. The interface is easy to use and it helps me create training content much faster and with a lot less effort.

Cons

This may partly be because I have not explored every feature yet but some commands do feel a little limited and complex. Pros

Creating learning content with iSpring is very easy. It comes with strong accessibility options and gives a lot of freedom to customize interactions. The quiz and interaction tools are flexible and the reporting choices during export are excellent. Being able to send individual quiz responses is a feature I particularly appreciate. On top of that extras like the resource section are genuinely useful to have.

Cons

There are very few downsides at this stage, though I do think the platform would benefit from more layering to support branching scenarios and better guide the learner journey. Sometimes the learning experience can feel a bit too linear but it is not a major problem.

Pros

Publishing in SCORM and sending courses to our LMS is really convenient. The color palettes and formatting options give me plenty of control so I can tailor the training to our team and keep it aligned with our company branding. The end result looks polished and works well as professional training material. It also gives me room to be creative when building interactive modules. I'd still love to see even more options added over time.

Works the best for us

Pros

Using iSpring Suite for e-learning modules and compliance materials has been a really positive experience. Its PowerPoint integration works extremely well so I can build content quickly and publish SCORM files without a lot of extra effort. Getting started was easy and I would absolutely recommend it as a 5 star product. Support has also been consistently impressive as whenever I have contacted the team, they've replied quickly, fully resolved the issue and explained the root cause clearly enough that I can often prevent or fix similar problems myself later which saves time. On top of that the ability to create interactive, engaging courses for our end users has significantly boosted completion rates and the feedback from frontline staff and supervisors has been excellent.

Cons

I feel like the area that could use some improvement is the voiceover and text to speech experience. Plue the interface is like it could be more modern and more user friendly especially when trying to figure out which voices fit certain character counts and how to generate captions more efficiently.

I use it daily

Pros

With technology constantly changing, iSpring has been a tool I truly value for building content because it keeps getting better. The ongoing updates, AI features, variety of characters, backgrounds, images and different publishing options make it incredibly versatile. It has really become an application I rely on every day.

Cons

Frustrating part is having to save files directly to my computer and disable the Microsoft 365 collaboration side of things. I know it can store content in the cloud but since I am the only person using the application, that setup does not really help me. I also wish I had kept all of my folders in one central place because now they are scattered across my desktop and cannot be moved if I want to edit anything later. On top of that rendering a video seems to require my computer to be completely unused which is odd and is very inconvenient.

Pros

Using iSpring Suite is very approachable, even if you're not a technical course creator. The PowerPoint integration fits naturally into the workflow so building content is fast and familiar while still giving you the tools to create polished, interactive e-learning modules. The quiz features are good as well.

Cons

At the same time I have run into recurring bugs and inconsistencies especially with project stability and publishing. Those problems have interrupted work more than once and led to a lot of time spent troubleshooting. Support does reply but the process has felt slow and hasn't always addressed the actual root cause. A few issues have also come back after seeming resolved which makes it harder to trust for larger or deadline-driven projects.

Very practical tool

Pros

As someone in training and development, the biggest plus with iSpring Suite is how practical and easy it is to use. The PowerPoint integration works very well too so I can build professional, interactive courses without needing advanced technical skills. The quiz tools, dialogue simulations and screen recording features are especially helpful when I need to create engaging content quickly. It saves me a lot of time, keeps learners engaged and lets me focus more on instructional design instead of struggling with the software.

Cons

If I had to point out a downside, it would be the limits around advanced customization. Even though the platform is very practical and user friendly, I do wish it offered more freedom with design choices, animations and creating more complex interactive scenarios outside the PowerPoint-based structure. For highly sophisticated projects, I sometimes have to rely on a few workarounds. Still for most training needs, it continues to be a very efficient and dependable tool.

The interactive elements especially quizzes, simulations and dialogue scenarios, make the learning experience much more engaging and effective. I also liked how polished and professional the interface looks because it keeps the content design process organized and pleasant. Whenever I needed help, customer support was responsive and useful. Overall, it is a dependable platform that makes creating high-quality training courses easy and enjoyable.

Cons

That said some of the more advanced customization options are not as extensive as what you get with more powerful authoring platforms. The design flexibility can feel a little limited when you want to create very unique or highly complex layouts. On bigger projects, PowerPoint performance can occasionally slow down as well. The cost may also seem somewhat expensive for individual creators or smaller teams. A few features, such as advanced interactions, take some time to fully learn and use well. Collaboration could also be better especially for teams that need to work on the same project at the same time.

love how it provides interactive content variety

Pros

There's a lot to love about the range of elements available for building interactive content in training courses. It gives me plenty of ways to make the material more engaging and dynamic.

Cons

One thing that could be better is the limited number of quiz types. I think adding more options would make the platform even more useful and could improve the learning experience.

helpful support during setup

Pros

Getting our licenses set up went really well thanks to the support team. We had upgraded and needed to make several updates along the way and the staff was very helpful throughout the process. One support agent and team were especially supportive and another agent and team were very helpful as well.

Cons

The only downside was having to leave a message and wait for a follow-up, since instant help would always be preferable. That said, once the message was received, they were able to follow up the next day.

responsive support and strong narration

Pros

One thing that really pushed me to leave this review was how responsive iSpring's support was. The Tech Support Specialist got back to me quickly and even followed up after I missed an email which I really appreciated. That level of speed, patience and accuracy stood out. On the product side, it has some of the best narration features I have used and the interface is clean and fairly easy especially when working with quizzes and other interactive learning elements. Building courses also is much faster than it does in tools like Adobe Captivate.

Cons

On the other hand the AI Assistant was pretty terrible. It kept giving me directions for outdated features, even when I clearly told it to only use documentation for Suite 11. I ended up wasting a lot of time with it and a quick email to support solved the issue in just a few minutes. There are also parts of the tool that could be improved like having control over line breaks in subtitles and making those breaks carry over into the exported version. I spent way too long trying to figure out why the subtitles kept exporting as a single line. The Slide Properties window is another area that is less user friendly than the rest of iy. And while the price is a bit steep for what is essentially a PowerPoint plugin, it's still fairly competitive compared with other instructional design tools available.

user-friendly with helpful support

Pros

It is very easy to use and it's usually simple to find help information, with clear ways to get in touch with support when needed.

Cons

A few features can be tricky to locate, such as the setting to hide correct quiz answers which is tucked away in a not-so-obvious place and hard to discover.

Almost no learning curve

Pros

The PowerPoint integration makes it very easy to use and keeps the learning curve very low. It offers a strong mix of interaction types, including quizzes, steps, tabs, accordions, role plays and branching so building engaging learning content is pretty easy. It has also been very useful for putting together lesson drafts and assessments faster. On top of that the publishing options are flexible, whether the output needs to go to SCORM, an LMS, the web or iSpring Cloud. It fits especially well for SMEs, consultants and teams working on fast-moving projects.

Cons

The AI-generated content still needs a careful review and some refinement before it is ready to use. Visual customization is good overall but it does have limits if you want to push the design further. It also works best for structured learning experiences rather than highly experimental course designs.

great training powerhouse

Pros

Working inside PowerPoint is a big advantage, since it fits into an environment that already is familiar. On top of that it offers a wide range of tools for training and e-learning which helps make presentations much more interactive and dynamic.

Cons

Better integration with MacBook would make it even stronger. There's also a bit of a learning curve at the beginning because the feature set is so extensive, although that really comes from how many possibilities the software gives you.

A complete tool overall

Pros

Building full courses in iSpring Cloud is very easy, even starting completely from scratch. I can handle content, images, quizzes and assessments in one place instead of jumping between different tools. That end to end setup lets me design, build and finish an entire course without needing outside platform integrations. Plus the built-in authoring features save me a lot of time and cut down on technical hassle. Being able to export the finished course as a SCORM file and upload it directly into an LMS is another big plus. Overall it gives me an all-in-one solution for both instructional design and efficient course delivery.

Cons

One thing I'd really like to see in it is a built-in way to rate courses and issue verifiable certificates. If learners could earn a certificate after completing a course and share it directly to LinkedIn, it would add a lot in terms of motivation, credibility and course visibility. That would be especially useful for professional training and continuing education, where proof of completion and recognition can matter just as much as the learning content itself.

Easy to work with

Pros

Working with it is very easy because it plugs right into PowerPoint which most people already know how to use. That makes collaboration much simpler since we can ask subject matter experts to build their content in PowerPoint, even if they do not have iSpring installed, then send it over to the L&D team. From there, with iSpring on our computers, we can fine-tune the course and publish it to the LMS without much hassle.

Cons

The area that could be better is the text-to-speech voice-over. The voices could sound a little more natural and it would also help if subtitles appeared while the narration is playing. Even with that limitation, the feature is still acceptable and I use it regularly because it helps keep learners engaged in my online courses.

offers multiple ways to stay creative

Pros

Getting started with it has been very easy and it gives me plenty of ways to bring creativity into an online course with lots of interactive features and AI-powered options. Because of a medical issue, I had to put my work on hold for a few days and when I came back and contacted customer support, they replied very quickly and treated me with truly exceptional personal attention. I had never created an online course before but to help my father I signed up for a 3-month iSpring Suite subscription and I am genuinely delighted with the quality of the course I was able to produce and with the subscription price.

Cons

As I mentioned, I am completely new to online training so the part I struggle with most is understanding how to export my work and how to publish it. I think that has more to do with my lack of knowledge in this area than with the software itself.

Simplifies workflow

Pros

iSpring Suite is very easy to use and reaching tech support is never a hassle. I was especially impressed by the step-by-step help I received while troubleshooting different features and issues.

Cons

I'd still like to see more dynamic functionality added to the platform, such as game-based options to make learning more engaging and more advanced tools for video creation.

engaging training with rich assets

Pros

Putting together interactive training in iSpring Suite is really easy and it does a good job of keeping learners engaged. There's also a large selection of assets available which makes it easier to customize content so it is more realistic and relatable to real-world situations.

Cons

The player is the part I am not too happy with. It doesn't feel very user friendly and setting up a quiz while disabling the feedback was harder than it should have been. I eventually had to reach out to support for help.

versatile course creation tools

Pros

It offers many options for creating courses along with very useful add-ons. The possibilities for building assessments and surveys are also really strong.

Cons

I am happy with everything overall. The only thing I'd like to see improved is the text box during video recording inside the suite, since it would be better if it could be enlarged to work more like a teleprompter.

Has top tools for engaging training

Pros

Creating training content with iSpring Suite has been extremely worthwhile for me. It has played a big role in helping me build engaging courses with interactive role plays, simulations and quizzes. One feature I really value is the content library, since it offers a wide range of characters, icons and backgrounds that boost creativity and make visual content development much more effective. It is a flexible resource that makes it easier to produce interactive materials especially in healthcare, where I can create scenarios tied to patient services. I also appreciate how extensive the toolset is, giving teams what they need to produce polished, modern training materials. On top of that the interface looks clean and is very easy to use so it is simple to navigate even for people who are not especially technical. Altogether, these features make it an excellent option for building advanced training experiences.

Cons

One area where it could improve is in supporting the creation of more animated and illustrative scenarios. Right now, it does not offer enough rich visuals, dynamic movement or character-led storytelling to fully hold attention and explain complex ideas in a more visually compelling way. Expanding these capabilities would strengthen understanding and retention while making the learning experience feel more immersive for the audience.
