frustrating support and long delays

Pros

It lets me create SCORM files that I can upload to our training site for very specific job-related courses that are not available in the site's training library. One support agent was amazing.

Cons

Getting things working was a struggle and IT support was extremely unhelpful for months. The person I had been dealing with for over four months went on vacation and the replacement was the one who finally fixed my issue in less than a week. She was the first support person there who was both kind and actually helpful. Everyone else treated me like I didn't know what I was doing, failed to resolve my problems and only responded between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. my time even though they claimed to offer 24/7 support. The last woman was excellent, though and my criticism is not directed at her.

Ideal to online training

Pros

Turning a simple PowerPoint into an online learning module is really effective with iSpring Suite. It's a valuable option for companies that want to convert in-person presentations into digital training content.

Cons

There are a lot of features to learn so it does take time to understand everything and edit all the elements like interactivity and quizzes. The learning curve is real and shouldn't be underestimated.

Pretty easy to handle and use

Pros

Using iSpring Suite has been a really positive experience especially because the handling is easy and works well. With the helpful training and the support afterward, everything has gone without any problems.

Cons

Up to now, I have not noticed anything truly negative. If I had to mention one thing, it's that with so many available options, it can occasionally take a bit of effort to find the right solution.

Offer strong value

Pros

iSpring Suite is a very decent tool, thanks to its great, simple interface. On top of that the price to performance ratio is outstanding which makes the software even more appealing.

Cons

The biggest downside is that we cannot set up a direct integration with our HubSpot CRM. Because of that, digital leads generated through the CRM cannot be created automatically in it which is definitely a limitation.

Decent software

Pros

The part we like most about it is how effortlessly it turns PowerPoint presentations into eGuides.

Cons

What looks less convincing is that some of the interactive design seems a bit outdated like the avatars and that working together on projects can be difficult.

helpful support when needed

Pros

Whenever questions come up, the team is there with professional support which has been especially valuable for me.

Cons

Another real advantage is having access to the German explainer tutorials. They make it much easier to understand the platform and get started. I am still at the beginning so I cannot fully use every feature yet but I am learning more step by step.

powerpoint and beginner friendly

Pros

It works directly with PowerPoint includes many useful features, is easy to use and installs without any hassle.

Cons

The finished courses are made up of several files and if those files get separated or moved around, they stop working properly.

don't require extra effort

Pros

The biggest advantage of iSpring Suite is how well it works with PowerPoint. It makes it simple to transform existing presentations into interactive eLearning courses without much extra effort. The built-in quiz tools, dialogue simulations and screen recording features are simple and easy to use so putting a course together is quite quick and efficient. I also really liked the range of templates and content libraries, since they help speed up the design process while still keeping the final result polished and high-quality.

Cons

Though the package covers a lot but the video editing side is a bit limited when you compare it with software made specifically for video editing. Users who need very advanced customization or more detailed animation controls might feel those options are lacking. Still, these feel like small trade-offs given the overall value the suite provides.

user-friendly and reliable

Pros

I find it iSpring Suite very easy to use even though I had never worked with this kind of software before. It's simple to learn, easy to use and the user friendly design made the whole experience much more comfortable. The tech support has also been excellent which made a big difference.

Cons

One improvement I'd suggest is routing customer support requests based on the customer's location. It would be much better if help tickets were directed to the support team in the same country so there's less back-and-forth across time zones and fewer delays in getting a response.

perfect fit for niche training

Pros

Using iSpring Suite has been a really good experience. It's very easy to work with and that matters a lot for us because our company is pretty niche. Traditional LMS providers just don't fit what our organization needs so being able to build and create our own training setup with this tool has been a huge advantage.

Cons

The part I like least isn't really the issue of the tool itself but by our very complicated virtual systems environment. Updates tend to create issues in our setup so we often have to roll them back because they end up breaking the product in our environment.

Top tool for sure

Pros

Building courses with it is very easy to use. Since it uses PowerPoint as the starting point, putting lessons together is incredibly easy and it also makes it much easier to work with SMEs across different departments. They can send over a presentation and I can turn it into an interactive, engaging course while still applying adult learning best practices and amazing course design.

Cons

I am a bit old school so I still prefer being able to call a help line and get support by phone or video chat. That said, the support team is helpful. When I submit a ticket, I usually hear back by the next day. Sometimes the first reply doesn't fully address what I am asking so the back-and-forth can be a little frustrating but they usually get to the actual issue within one or two follow-ups.

The interface is user friendly

Pros

Turning a PowerPoint deck into a complete e-learning course with iSpring Suite is very natural. It fits right into PowerPoint, the workflow is easy and the interface is very user friendly. I also really value the interactive options like quizzes, dialogue simulations and SCORM export. It makes it possible to build polished, professional training content quickly, even without strong technical skills.

Cons

One thing I'd still like to see improved is more flexibility in quiz reporting especially when quizzes are placed throughout a course instead of grouped into one final section. At the moment, getting separate feedback or tracking for each embedded quiz is difficult when they appear between slides.

Comes with excellent quizzes

Pros

Able to use it is not a problem and the quiz feature is one of its strongest parts. The output looks polished and professional, the support team is excellent and being able to upload directly to iSpring Cloud is a really helpful bonus.

Cons

There is very little to dislike about the quiz feature in it. If anything, it would be nice if it were available as a separate standalone app for people who cannot afford the full suite. Also, it currently only works on Windows.

fast support that delivers

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is how fast their service is. Whenever I run into a question, the tech support team responds quickly and helps steer me in the right direction.

Cons

The only annoyance I have noticed is that I cannot switch between PowerPoint slides while working inside the pop-up. It's not a deal breaker but it does make things a bit inconvenient.

helpful support is my fav

Pros

The platform is very easy to use and brings together many useful tools in one place. On top of that the support team has been very helpful and always ready to assist whenever I run into difficulties with the system.

Cons

It does have some errors that can disrupt my work and there are times when it's difficult to understand what exactly went wrong.

Useful tutorials for training creation

Pros

Navigating iSpring Suite is very easy which has made building training modules much simpler for me. It also comes with plenty of tutorial videos and those have been really useful whenever I need help understanding how to use certain features in the program.

Cons

One limitation is the small number of languages it supports, since I sometimes need to translate training modules into different languages. I also wish it already had a built-in direct translation feature so I wouldn't have to rely on other software to handle module translations.

Improved my workflow

Pros

Having everything tied into PowerPoint has been a huge plus. The interface is modern for both admins and end users and publishing content is excellent. One of the biggest benefits is not having to bounce back and forth between separate applications anymore which has really improved my workflow.

Cons

The only issue I have run into is in QuizMaker. Once you're working there, you cannot jump back to PowerPoint unless you exit QuizMaker first. Since we often get PowerPoint files from SMEs with the quiz text placed on slides, copying and pasting that content into QuizMaker ends up being a bit more confusing.

ISpring -Product and Support

Pros

The ease of use is a standout feature for development purposes. To open and access the software is not an issue even for the newbie which makes it simply the best.

Cons

It took me six months of using Ispring before accidentally clicking on "Ispring" to realize where the controls were. Prior to that, it appeared to be a typical PowerPoint system.
