helpful text to speech features

Pros

iSpring Suite is pretty easy to use especially when the training already begins as a PowerPoint presentation. It includes some really nice features too, like characters and interactive elements. The standout part is the text-to-speech tool which gives access to different voices and, in many cases, produces a pleasant audio result.

Cons

The way speech is added to slides still is a bit old-fashioned since it relies on PowerPoint. I also wish there were a more modern option that gave users better control over the audio instead of only being able to click an image. It really could use a proper player.

A tool I was looking for

Pros

I find it very user friendly to work with and the built-in sample course also acting as a tutorial is a really smart touch. I was able to take PowerPoint material created by non technical colleagues and turn it into polished, fully functional SCORM course content without much effort at all which is exactly what I needed.

Cons

Though the AI voice over is excellent most of the time but it does have the occasional hiccup. Certain words can be mispronounced now and then like saying aye instead of AI, although it gets it right most of the time. I have also run into moments where the audio sounds corrupted, almost like an overly modulated phone signal rather than the usual clear voice. It still works very well overall but it does mean I have to listen through everything carefully sometimes more than once when making updates or corrections, just to make sure it is all accurate. Definitely not a deal breaker.

rich customization options are my fav

Pros

Working with it directly from the PowerPoint toolbar is a big advantage especially since slide creation and animations already fit into that workflow. Adding quiz questions and interactive elements is easy and there are plenty of options to customize the player that presents the slide deck. I also appreciated that the interactions support wrapping text around images which PowerPoint still doesn't handle well. On top of that the help guides and tutorials are put together nicely and when we emailed support, the replies came back promptly.

Cons

To me the cost is the biggest downside. Our issue with the pricing model was having to pay for 12 months based on the maximum number of learners in the plan, even though we only needed to give some people access for about 4 months. They did offer us a non-profit discount which was appreciated but even with that, the price increase ended up being more than we could justify.

Powerful training and onboarding tool

Pros

Using iSpring Suite over the years has been a really positive experience. It's a reliable and easy-to-use tool that works well for both training delivery and sharing policy information. We've used it for employee onboarding and yearly recurring training across the organization and it has handled both very well. Another big plus is the customer support team which has consistently been responsive and helpful whenever needed.

Cons

The text to speech feature can be a bit glitchy at times and takes some troubleshooting. I have also noticed that bullet points don't perform as well as full paragraphs in the text to speech section.

Very cost-effective setup

Pros

The biggest wins were the affordable pricing and how quick it was to set everything up and start using it. The customer support team was extremely helpful in getting my online classes launched fast and my students have really enjoyed them.

Cons

To be honest, I didn't run into any real challenges. The only minor issue was that one time I spoke with a representative whose accent was a little hard for me to understand but they immediately transferred me to someone else.

Has an awesome experience

Pros

Working with iSpring Suite Pro Max has been a really positive experience. It's easy to use, packed with strong interactive features and fits right into PowerPoint without any hassle. Publishing to different devices and LMS platforms is easy which makes the whole course-building process much more convenient. The price is definitely on the higher side and bigger projects can sometimes slow things down but it's still an excellent option for creating polished, engaging courses.

Cons

One issue I have with it is the price. Although there's an educational discount for non-profit organizations, it still is quite expensive. That can make things financially difficult especially when managing larger projects.

creative tools and patient support

Pros

There are lots of creative features to work with and the help desk team is always patient and ready to answer all the questions I bring to them.

Cons

One thing I am still struggling with is sharing finished projects with other people for preview. I know it can be done but I have not been able to figure out how yet.

fantastic for in house training

Pros

It's been a fantastic platform for running in-house training. The ability to upload presentations and attach a quiz to each one has been a real money saver for us.

Cons

I have not run into any problems at this point. Everything has worked exactly the way it should and I have only begun to explore everything it can do.

Pretty easy to work with

Pros

iSpring Suite is very user friendly and easy to work with. The PowerPoint integration is one of its biggest strengths and the online suite adds even more flexibility. The tools the platform provides are really useful and cover what I need very well.

Cons

It's not something that causes problems every day but the platform doesn't include highly sophisticated tools. Even so, what it does offer solves about 99% of my needs. My biggest concern is the dependency it creates, since everything I build in it and publish in HTML5 keeps me tied to the platform. That means I rely on it to stay updated and I am not sure how long I'll be able to keep the license available.

consistent onboarding across teams

Pros

Getting people started with the platform is easy and it has been really useful for our onboarding process. With iSpring Learn, we can make sure every new hire gets the same high-quality training no matter where they are located or which department they join.

Cons

Up to this point, I have not run into anything significant that I dislike. My initial experience with it has been very positive.

Well designed tool

Pros

The interface is easy to use and well designed. Features such as quiz building, dialogue simulations, interactive videos and SCORM module creation make it possible to produce dynamic, engaging training content without needing advanced technical skills. The technical support team is also responsive and helpful.

Cons

Advanced customization of interfaces and templates can feel somewhat limited unless you have additional technical knowledge.

Integrate with PowerPoint well

Pros

Working with iSpring Suite is very natural because it integrates into PowerPoint so well. On top of that the customer support team has always been fast, polite and accurate whenever I have needed help. They are also incredibly patient, even when I have come back with an issue they had already helped me solve before.

Cons

One thing I really wish it had is a printable PDF help guide. The online-only help section is hard to navigate and it takes too much effort to find the information I am looking for. Since the webpage layout doesn't allow printing, a downloadable PDF help file would be a huge improvement.

Packed with the best!

Pros

Getting courses built with iSpring Suite is very easy, yet the tool is still packed with powerful features. It makes it simple to create polished e-learning content, even if you are just getting started with instructional design. The variety of templates, quizzes and interactive elements cuts down the time spent building lessons in a big way. Its PowerPoint integration works flawlessly and the support team has been excellent. As they were quick to respond, knowledgeable and consistently helpful. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants a dependable e-learning authoring tool.

Cons

There is not much to complain about. Projects that include a large amount of media can sometimes take a little longer to publish but that is like a small tradeoff given how reliable and well the software performs overall.

able to use it without hassle

Pros

The built-in LMS integration with iSpring Suite is a real advantage. It's very easy to use and you don't need any special technical knowledge to get started. It also offers a wide variety of content formats depending on what you need and the LMS itself is advanced, polished and very well developed.

Cons

I feel like the video editing tool could still be improved especially by adding features like zoom. On the LMS side, it would also be useful to have more options for customized page layouts.

Quite an engaging tool

Pros

Being able to work directly inside PowerPoint is really convenient and the interactive features are interesting to use.

Cons

The voice over feature still needs improvement and I'd also like to see an option in the future to mix different voices within the same script.

responsive support and simple workflow

Pros

iSpring Suite is very easy to use and the support behind it has been excellent. Whenever I have run into a problem, there have been several ways to get assistance and I am always connected with a real person who stays with the issue until it's fully resolved.

Cons

There isn't much to complain about. Every now and then a small issue comes up but most of the time it ends up being user error rather than a problem with the software itself.

helpful support and sharing tools

Pros

Whenever something comes up, the support team is there to help and they always manage to find a solution. Being able to share my screen with them is especially useful because it lets them walk me through the issue clearly and effectively.

Cons

I'd still love to see more advanced features for creating interactive e-learning content. The built-in interactions in it don't feel very appealing or visually engaging to me.

Interactive training that motivates

Pros

iSpring Suite helps us deliver training in a much more engaging way thanks to its interactive features. It brings the improvement we were looking for and does a good job of keeping participants motivated throughout the learning process.

Cons

One thing that could make it even better is giving us more ways to use characters in simulations beyond just dialogue and Q&A. It would also be nice to build more advanced simulations with interconnected scenarios to add more variety and dynamism.

versatile and user-friendly

Pros

There are a lot of possibilities in this tool and it still is easy to use. We use it for e-learning content and presentations.

Cons

Nothing really negative to mention, it just takes a bit of time to get familiar with all the different ways you can use it. It offers so many options that learning everything doesn't happen instantly.
