“Makes for fun, remote learning; a few feature shortcomings.”
Pros
I have to use itsLearning when Im ill to make up for the work I would have missed on normal school days. Being able to ask the teacher to create tests for me when Im unwell is helpful because I might have important assessments coming up. The program, further, allows me to seamlessly connect with my professors and peers. When you visit the platform’s website, youll notice various page cards that will help you find a course quickly. You may simply locate a particular class using ClassLink, another helpful feature. Because it allows me to see upcoming deadlines, I particularly like the tool’s planner page. Through the settings, quizzes can also be taken, and they include multiple choice or lengthy response option alternatives.
Cons
There are a few drawbacks of the software, however. You can only fit so much information in it. Also, I’ve always had issues with itslearning on my schoo’sl WiFi. Constant and time-consuming updates are required for the program, for sure. Further, every time the server is down, the application crashes. In the messages area, outdated messages shouldnt be included in a distinct column, it would make more sense if we could either archive them or move them to trash.

“Useful software”
Pros
There's a really strong variety of supplemental materials in itslearning which makes it useful for adding extra work and supporting lessons.
Cons
That said I did feel that many similar extra resources could also be found for free elsewhere.

“Great resources for lessons”
Pros
One thing that really works well with this product is how many different types of resources I can add, from meetings and embedded content to videos and links for warm-up activities. It gives me a lot of flexibility when putting lessons together.
Cons
The part I don't care for is that the site spreads information across too many sections, like Overview, Plans and Resources. Students can easily click away and during at-home learning it's hard to guide them back especially when they already struggle with technology.

“assignment submission but too buggy”
Pros
Most of my classes were hosted on this platform and I mainly used it for submitting assignments.
Cons
It is quite limited in terms of how much information you can actually add. I used it back in high school but in college we switched to Blackboard and I definitely prefer Blackboard a lot more. Plus it also never seemed to work on the school Wi-Fi and it was down way too often. Overall it comes across as buggy and in need of a lot of fixes.

“Great shared learning hub”
Pros
Having one shared space where my students and I can connect for learning has been a real plus. We rely on the calendar to keep everyone on track and the messaging tool helps us stay in touch without any hassle. I can also share resources with the whole class and organize collections of learning materials so students can explore them whenever they need. As a teacher, time matters more than anything and itslearning is convenient enough that it gives me some of that time back so I can be more creative and enjoy the rest of my day.
Cons
I'd love to see this one become even more user friendly over time especially as the developers continue working closely with educators to better support our specific needs.

“google drive sync is a win”
Pros
Using the Google Drive integration has been a big plus because I can send a document to students and all of their edits are automatically saved into a folder for me to review and assess. The quick messaging feature is also really useful since it lets me communicate with students in a way that feels a lot like texting, while still staying within the school setting. On top of that the assessment tools work really well for adding digital tests and students can see their results right away which is very helpful.
Cons
One thing that bothers me is that the testing mode does not function on Chromebooks which means students can still open other tabs and search Google for answers while they are taking a test.

“helpful messaging, needs guidance”
Pros
One feature I really like is the instant messaging, since it gives students a way to ask questions even when class is over. Editing content is also pretty easy which makes updating materials much more convenient.
Cons
I'd really like to see more tutorials available so it's easier to understand all of its features better.

“Everything organized in one place”
Pros
Having both the Itslearning website and mobile app really helps keep everything together, so it's much simpler to stay on top of announcements and course content in one place. The assignment deadline column on the right, along with the events section and grade tab, does a good job of making sure nothing gets missed or forgotten.
Cons
Nothing major but I feel like communication would be much faster with an instant chat feature. Right now it works better for announcements and tracking assignments than for real-time conversations.

“reliable tools for classwork”
Pros
Right from the start this software has been dependable and consistently does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's accessible, packed with features and gives me everything I need to create, share and grade assignments for my classes without trouble. Those core tools perform really well and the many additional options are also functional and work just as advertised.
Cons
The thing that holds it back is that it's not always very easy for students to use. There are often extra steps to reach certain features and some parts feel repetitive. For instance I don't really see much benefit in having both groups and classes as separate options since they seem pretty similar.

“frustrating exams and uploads”
Pros
Signing in is simple and that's honestly the only part that works well for me.
Cons
Uploading assignments is often a hassle and taking exams on this platform is a complete mess. Even after finishing an exam the results do not get posted. Overall this software has a lot of room for improvement.

“Digitized classroom that delivers”
Pros
Staying connected with teachers is much easier on itslearning. It lets students keep track of assignment deadlines, check grades, see announcements and monitor attendance all in one place. It really works like a virtual classroom and makes the whole learning process feel more digital organized and efficient.
Cons
One thing that could be better is assignment submission. Right now it only allows direct template uploads and I'd really prefer the option to upload an assignment in advance and schedule it to be submitted automatically at a set time. As that would give me room to make last minute edits if needed and help avoid forgetting to submit before the deadline.
