“Difficult to Learn”
Pros
It presents an attractive appearance. Is there a requirement for additional information before I can proceed? I cannot express anything more positive about it.
Cons
Setting up and designing courses proves challenging; numerous LMSs are more teacher-friendly. I sought a replacement for Instructure's Canvas with free teacher services but faced issues with Latitude Learning, particularly with the free-for-teachers program lacking school setup options. While they offer a school, it raises questions without apparent answers. A more helpful approach would be automatic enrollment in a course explaining how to use their service. My attempts to figure it out led to frustration, and it wasn't worth the effort.

“I am a one person training department who relies heavily on Latitude learning to help me.”
Pros
It operates effectively. My learners enjoy using the system and the training it provides. The support team is outstanding, always ready to respond to queries and offer assistance.
Cons
Captivate LMS impresses with its visual interface, but changing my certification curriculum is challenging. I'd prefer templates for my site pages since I'm not an HTML programmer. Using an external tool like DreamWeaver or XD for webpage building and importing might help.

“I like the price, but I don't like the user interface.”
Pros
I appreciate the cost-effectiveness, making it feasible to launch an online training program without significant overhead. The free-tier option allows for beta testing without immediate expenses, and the ability to run reports on learner activities is a valuable feature.
Cons
The user interface is unappealing and challenging to navigate, especially for the millennial audience. It may suit certifications for plumbers, but not for engaging my primary target audience.
