Difficult to Learn

Pros

It presents an attractive appearance. Is there a requirement for additional information before I can proceed? I cannot express anything more positive about it.

Cons

Setting up and designing courses proves challenging; numerous LMSs are more teacher-friendly. I sought a replacement for Instructure's Canvas with free teacher services but faced issues with Latitude Learning, particularly with the free-for-teachers program lacking school setup options. While they offer a school, it raises questions without apparent answers. A more helpful approach would be automatic enrollment in a course explaining how to use their service. My attempts to figure it out led to frustration, and it wasn't worth the effort.

I am a one person training department who relies heavily on Latitude learning to help me.

Pros

It operates effectively. My learners enjoy using the system and the training it provides. The support team is outstanding, always ready to respond to queries and offer assistance.

Cons

Captivate LMS impresses with its visual interface, but changing my certification curriculum is challenging. I'd prefer templates for my site pages since I'm not an HTML programmer. Using an external tool like DreamWeaver or XD for webpage building and importing might help.

A wonderful experience using this software

Pros

I valued its user-friendly interface and lucid explanations. It left me feeling confident in understanding the process by the time I completed it.

Cons

Sometimes, the software explains things excessively, which may be useful for some but not necessary for everyone. Users might not need everything spelled out in such detail.

There is a small learning curve. Overall easy to use and very functional.

Pros

The software is user-friendly once you've grasped it, with a manageable learning curve. Uploading is a straightforward process, and the availability of a free version adds to its utility.

Cons

While there's a slight learning curve, it's manageable. The software poses challenges for Mac users and tools can be occasionally perplexing.

I like the price, but I don't like the user interface.

Pros

I appreciate the cost-effectiveness, making it feasible to launch an online training program without significant overhead. The free-tier option allows for beta testing without immediate expenses, and the ability to run reports on learner activities is a valuable feature.

Cons

The user interface is unappealing and challenging to navigate, especially for the millennial audience. It may suit certifications for plumbers, but not for engaging my primary target audience.
