It's useful that the platform allows multiple Team Leaders to manage rosters which makes sharing scheduling responsibilities much more practical.
Cons
The downside is that when something changes like a time or location, it has to be updated in several different places. There are also two separate ways to register unavailability which makes the process feel more confusing than it should be.

Connects directly with other systems and that reliability and consistency has been a real plus.
Cons
The admin side can be difficult to figure out and getting fully comfortable with the system takes time because it takes some time to get used to.

“Simple customization and integrations
Pros
Compared with other VMS platforms I've demoed, this one stands out because its customization options are on another level. Nothing else I looked at really fit the specific needs of our volunteer program the way this one does. The embed codes and wide range of integration options make it feel like one of the strongest VMS tools out there.
Cons
One area that still needs work is their built in training tools since they're pretty limited in terms of what you can actually do with them. That said it does help that you can connect an LMS or use embed codes for training content you've already created.

“helpful support but outdated workflow
Pros
Having everything in one place is really convenient and the range of functions gives the team a lot to work with. The support team has also been very helpful whenever needed.
Cons
The platform can be quite slow and most tasks take too many buttons and clicks to get through. It also needs a fair amount of training before you can really use it to its full potential.

“All in one platform
Pros
It encompasses eveything we need and that makes a big difference when it comes to handling HR, shifts, events and communication in a single system. It's really valuable being able to keep information updated efficiently while different functions work together instead of relying on separate spreadsheets and multiple messaging tools. The performance has also come a long way and the speed improvements over the past few months have made the platform much better to use.
Cons
Getting around the system can be confusing because it isn't always accessible unless someone explains it properly first. The wording inside the platform also adds to that especially terms like shift user and event shift user which make the process harder to follow. On top of that even simple actions can take too many clicks which slows everything down. Bulk updating people's shifts is also difficult and the inability to connect other important processes such as the virtual interview process feels quite restrictive.

Pros
Bringing the whole volunteer journey into one platform has made a real difference for us. Volunteers can now track how their applications are progressing, apply for other roles and sign up for shifts and volunteer events all in the same place. The support team has also been solid! They're willing to work through the best ways for us to use this platform and often suggest helpful alternative approaches.
Cons
There are still a few limitations and some features we'd like that aren't there yet. We also ran into a couple of bugs with email links. They were fixed but it was frustrating for our volunteers while it lasted. On the positive side new features seem to be released regularly and there's a way to submit feature requests. One thing we'd really love to see added is a way for volunteers to communicate with each other.

It brings rostering, communication and application review together in one complete system. There really aren't many platforms out there that handle all of those functions in such a well rounded way.
Cons
It can sometimes feel a little outdated and if you're new to the platform, it may take some time to learn how everything works.
