However I should note that some of the challenges I encountered were not directly attributed to Schoology itself but rather related to other systems we use such as single sign-on. As Schoology users we have encountered a few minor issues worth mentioning. One notable limitation is the absence of a feature that allows teachers to force-submit quizzes and tests on behalf of students who forget to submit their assessments. This creates a challenge for teachers when grading as they rely on students to manually press the submit button. Additionally another difficulty arises from the inability to rotate pages in document submissions which becomes problematic when students upload documents horizontally that need to be read vertically. Lastly the order in which Schoology displays multiple-page assignments based on their size rather than the order they were uploaded adds complexity to the grading process. Overall these issues though small can impact the user experience and workflow for teachers.

The growing adoption of Schoology by districts worldwide can sometimes result in slower software performance. It would also be great to have the option to personalize folder colors.

Schoology serves as our district-wide Learning Management System (LMS) and since transitioning to it last year it has become my go-to platform for almost all of my course work. As an advocate of the flipped classroom model Schoology enables me to effortlessly share lecture videos assess student understanding assign tasks and communicate with students and parents. The platform ensures 34/7 access to all course content allowing for various presentation methods and real-time updates. One feature that excites me is the Google Assignment App which simplifies document sharing and ensures students always have the latest version. Schoology's completion rules empower students while keeping them on track and the ability to add images to pages updates announcements and folders enhances visual information and supports student guidance. The platform's hyperlinking feature is also invaluable.

While Schoology has made commendable updates I do wish they would accelerate the pace of their advancements. For instance they introduced the "Assessments" feature to eventually replace "Test/Quiz" but even after two years it still lacks certain essential elements like individual question comments auto-correction and a question test bank option. These missing features hinder its full potential and limit its effectiveness for end-of-unit assessments and semester exams.
