“missing too many essentials”
Pros
The basic functions like adding a user or a course are fairly simple to use. It's a streamlined, no-frills LMS in every way.
Cons
It was missing a lot of common features you'd expect such as carrying over course progress when updates are released. Every single thing needed to be uploaded into the warehouse to begin with and we could not remove old material from there like previous versions. The search function for users is pretty limited too and managing user profiles is not great either.

“It makes training more engaging!”
Pros
Regular training can often be boring and fail to hold employee attention but Schoox makes sessions more engaging. The platform is strategically designed to keep everyone focused so they actually absorb the material.
Cons
Honestly I cannot think of a single thing I dislike about it. All of its features and tools work exactly as they should without any problems.

“endless, easy-to-navigate training library”
Pros
We really like the wide variety of training options available on Schoox. Also the list of different learning topics seems endless.
Cons
From my experience, it does not really have any drawbacks. The platform is really simple to navigate and it delivers fast, precise results whenever you search for something or need information.

“Excellent course customization”
Pros
Schoox provides excellent course customization and is very user-friendly for everyone.

I felt the system was a little slow to respond when using it and my team would really appreciate it if a few more functions were added.

“well-organized hub”
Pros
All our coursework is in one spot. The system checks off completed training and shows us the percentage left for each course.
Cons
There's a bit of a learning curve when you first start using the platform. The navigation isn't immediately intuitive so it takes a few logins to really get your bearings.

“Does not save progress properly”
Pros
We use this for work training but the app does not send reminders and often does not save progress properly, so you have to restart frequently. On the plus side creating trainings and modules is easy enough and completed modules do disappear from the list.
Cons
My main issues are with how things are organized and the alert system. It can be a real challenge to locate specific modules at times. Honestly the way you navigate through the site is just not good.

“Great education platform”
Pros
The convenience of having everything accessible on a single website and dashboard makes this software straightforward and simple to grasp.
Cons
Initially, I struggled with the learning curve, but after spending some time exploring it, it became second nature to me. Just be sure to guide employees through their first experience.

“Schoox: a training allrounder.”
Pros
We have been using Schoox for a while now and can say a lot of good things about it so far. The thing we have loved the most about Schoox, despite its plenty of cool features and capabilities like tracking and reporting, is its complexity and capacity to expand along with our business. It can be made as small or large as we like. Additionally, it interacts with HotSchedules, which for us was a major factor that had us sold from the get go. We have heard others complain about their customer service, but for us, they have always pulled through.
Cons
When we first started using this system, it lacked the business functionality we needed, like the ability to merge users, mark courses as completed, and import users on a regular basis. But as we went along, they sorted out these issues. Its fantastic that they have solved them and that they keep adding new features. Additionally, this software should have a polling or survey feature. It is at best simplistic, and it would be nice if it offered a free-text or open response option. Finding the right courses can be a little difficult at times. I wish updating some of our SCORM/interactive material was simpler.

Training Manager, 11-50 employees
“Managers can launch fresh new courses using a drag-and-drop dashboard.”
Pros
There are several aspects of the Schoox system that I have come to really enjoy. The user interface is very functional and simple. Our users like the fact that it is a simple system to use. The majority of activities are rather easy to do. It is also simple to revise content! You can successfully set up the system as long as you have a clear idea of your organizations hierarchy and content arrangement. With this software, you can also easily get insights into the skill sets of your staff. It offers recommendations for thorough, specialized learning, which we really love.
Cons
Support is really our worst enemy with this one. I was told that a previous coworker had added me to our company beforehand, but I continue to get error messages when trying to access my account. Ive been unable to use the system for some time now, and none of my support channels have been able to offer me any urgent assistance. Being unable to access the system is obviously a huge concern for me, as the organizations training manager and a super admin in the system. Despite having a decent user interface, administrative duties are at best inconsistent. I dislike having to rely on the Schoox staff to make repairs.

“It offers cutting-edge technology that enables you to create a seamless experience.”
Pros
Schoox is a training technology that changes the game entirely. Anyone working in the food and beverage, hotel, or family entertainment industry is missing out on a lot without this software in their life. I personally love the numerous features and the ongoing addition of new ones. Another thing to love is their customer service, which is just excellent. Whenever I have come across any issues, they have always been on point in getting me the help I needed. They have pretty seamless software that allows us to get everything done exactly how we want it.
Cons
Just a couple of things to note about the cons. I was given the duty of starting up the training program when we made the decision to formalize it. I had trouble using Schoox because I am by no means a learning and development manager. We experimented with TalentLMS, which I found to be a bit harder than Schoox, but much easier for beginners. However, in the end, we ultimately decided to go with Schoox since we knew we would eventually need to recruit an L&D Manager who would be more adept at using it than I was, which we did.

Pros
The dashboard's functionality keeps improving, and the learning tracking efficiently manages completed courses. The ability to download documents is also a valuable feature.
