“Use for my training videos for chilis”
Pros
The fact that it is easy to learn and allowed me to access training materials at home or on the go greatly expedited my training at my new job. I was able to learn a lot more through this user-friendly site.
Cons
It was difficult to download PDFs saved on the site for my notes. It took me a few days to learn where my saved materials were located.

“Great software but not for the novice.”
Pros
Schoox is packed with features and functions, including tracking, reporting, and its ability to scale with our company's growth. We can customize it to fit our needs, and the integration with HotSchedules was a major selling point for us.
Cons
When we decided to establish our training program, I was assigned the task of setting it up initially. I'm not a Learning and Development Manager, so I had difficulty figuring out how to use Schoox. We had experimented with Talent LMS, which I found to be much simpler for beginners, although not as customizable as Schoox. Eventually, we chose Schoox because we realized we would eventually hire an L&D Manager who would be more proficient in using it than me, which we did. Now everything is going well, but be aware that this software is unlikely to be easily learned by a novice.

“Future Potential, But Painful Present”
Pros
The user interface is highly intuitive, and our users love how effortlessly they can navigate through the system. Most tasks are simple to complete, and re-versioning content is a breeze. With a clear vision for our organization's hierarchy and content layout, setting up the system effectively is achievable.
Cons
The support is extremely poor! We've had terrible experiences with notifications, and recently I even received a notification that I had been terminated from our academy. Another notification claimed that a former employee had added me to our academy, yet I still receive error messages when I try to access it. I haven't been able to access the system and haven't received immediate assistance from any of my support channels. Needless to say, as a super admin and the Training Manager of the organization, not being able to access the system is a MAJOR problem. While the user interface is pleasant, administrative tasks are inconsistent at best. I dislike having to rely on the Schoox team to fix and adjust things on the backend. Frankly, I am concerned about the integrity of the system, and I am not comfortable with other entities having 'back door' access to our system.

“Really Poor Support, Functionality is lacking”
Pros
I can easily log in and use the program. Many files from the company I work with are available for viewing and watching.
Cons
They provide no support and deflect it back to the company level, without adding any value. They ignore errors on the website. Many times, when I complete a course, I don't receive credit. They can't explain how the leaderboard works, and when I prove errors in the listing, they blame others. They haven't responded to several emails regarding website issues. They are truly a poorly managed company with inadequate support and even worse leadership.

“Schoox is your one stop shop for a GREAT LMS!”
Pros
Having limited experience with an LMS program and content development in my previous company, I can now see the abundance of features it offers after witnessing its utilization in another company.
Cons
With any new software, I was confident that it could offer more than what I initially knew. Therefore, it was frustrating not to be aware of all the 'higher level' offerings right from the start. So it wasn't exactly a dislike towards the program, but more of a "I wish I could have been better informed about it initially" to make better use of it.

“Learning Spanish!”
Pros
This app offers much more than just the ability to learn Spanish on the go. It provides extensive training options for work and even helps me prepare for college when the time comes.
Cons
It's just a bit slow sometimes, and it occasionally crashes after I log in. But overall, the concept is great.

“Schoox”
Pros
Setting up and navigating the software is easy for both administrators and users. The administrative tools allow for creativity in customizing the setup, and the ability to share training within the Schoox community is a significant advantage.
Cons
When integrated with another system, many of the built-in functionalities of the system are lost. It also creates confusion with certain setup elements, such as the admin setup for the organizational structure. Additionally, you need to ensure that your courses include all relevant content since the search functionality is not optimal. Ensuring that everything is in one place will resolve the issue of content not being easily locatable.

“The best LMS system in the world!”
Pros
I personally implemented this product for my company, and I absolutely love it. It has all the features I need, from course creation to curriculum development, content management, and exam creation. It caters to both companies new to an LMS and those transitioning from another system.
Cons
The only downside to this software lies in its Poll/Survey feature. It is rudimentary at best and should include a free-text/open response option.

“We switched to Schoox from an old in-house solution and should have done this years ago”
Pros
The setup and creation of new user content are incredibly easy. It seamlessly integrates with our intranet and external web applications. It includes all the features we had been waiting for in our in-house solution for years, such as assignments, reporting, and mobile apps. The mobile app is particularly useful for our target audience. Setting up business KPIs took some time, but they are now very useful.
Cons
The cost per user is expensive until you reach the 5000+ user tier, so fortunately, we were able to save a significant amount there.

“A fantastic new LMS provider.”
Pros
These guys may be new, but they have surpassed our expectations in terms of functionality, compatibility, and meeting all the essential requirements and more. Their software supports all file types, offers an online repository, an impressive mobile app, and a solid foundation of hierarchies.
Cons
The interface can be complex at times, requiring multiple button presses to reach the desired location. However, they have integrated 'walk-me' on most pages to mitigate this.

“Pretty meh. There must be a better alternative.”
Pros
It offers standard features typical of this type of software. You can easily view assigned tasks and prove completion of required courses. Creating a custom course seems relatively straightforward.
Cons
The tools for building courses could be enhanced. They aren't terrible, but there's definitely room for improvement to make course creation and content recording/creation within the system much easier. I'vealso been quite disappointed with the limited number, quality, and variety of "external" courses available. The "professional" and "business" courses seem like something you would put together in middle school. They lack polish.

“Innovative Approach To Training Your Team”
Pros
I have a genuine love for this software. It's creative and user-friendly. Managing team training and ensuring compliance can be overwhelming for many businesses. If you've ever struggled with team members not completing required trainings by the end of the year, Schoox is definitely worth considering for your business training needs. Plus, it offers excellent mobile features to keep track of employee training and align your team's efforts.
Cons
There aren't many cons to mention. I genuinely enjoy using this software. If your employees aren't tech-savvy or don't have computer access, implementation might pose more challenges. However, this software is primarily designed for professional settings, so that shouldn't be an issue.

“SchooX is powerful, but can be difficult to use.”
Pros
I really appreciate how effortless it is to create tests and the option to reward top learners. SchooX also integrates smoothly with HotSchedules, making it convenient for staff to locate.
Cons
I find it disappointing that SchooX doesn't notify me when someone finishes a course.

“eLearning Platform”
Pros
This product is excellent for social eLearning, facilitating seamless delivery of employee training, development, and certification across various social platforms.

“Razzle dazzle, less functionality”
Pros
Unfortunately, I haven't found it yet. The tasks that were easy to accomplish on the old site are now scattered across separate pages, making it difficult to navigate and perform most of the necessary actions.
Cons
I can't figure out the additional features, such as reporting, and the response team seems clueless. I don't think they even know what interrater reliability is.

“I've used Schoox to help with restaurant training.”
Pros
I like the convenience of accessing it through the web or the app. The quizzes provide an enjoyable way to expand knowledge! It's great that as managers, we can check who has completed which courses.
Cons
When using the app on my phone, my only complaint is that often, watching a video or scrolling through a document doesn't register as 100% completion unless I rotate my phone. It might be a minor glitch on my end, but other than that, no complaints!

“Perfect LMS for our company.”
Pros
It's so straightforward to utilize, and even simpler to set up and begin using. This learning management system is perfect for our company since we can have numerous users, which allows our customers to access various training videos.
Cons
The only drawback I have is that the pricing targets small to medium-sized businesses, but it's highly cost-effective, so it shouldn't discourage anyone. I believe they offer enterprise pricing for larger companies, which we aspire to become someday.

“Easy to use, but lots to master”
Pros
The interface for end users is sleek and easy to navigate. Among LMS mobile apps, the mobile app of SchooX stands out. Our employees primarily completed their training using the application on their mobile devices. Approximately 85% of our employees adopted the mobile option. One fantastic feature is the ability to set parameters for hourly employees, determining when they can access the system. Since we have a large hourly workforce, it's beneficial to restrict access to learning content during work hours or provide each team member with a designated time for learning. This feature alone has incentivized growth and development while ensuring compliance with labor laws. The finance department also appreciated it for budgeting purposes. The out-of-the-box reporting is simple and basic, but there's a built-in connection to Google Analytics. We connected it to our Google Analytics account and aggregated the data into our business intelligence tools for advanced reporting. Administration is straightforward, yet it offers a plethora of features that can be creatively utilized. We successfully ran our company-wide mentoring program through the system. It also integrates with several HRIS systems, keeping our team members up to date. I would highly recommend it and use it again. Additionally, it has an excellent content store where "filler" content can be easily purchased and downloaded.
Cons
Getting accustomed to the organizational setup takes some time, but once you're familiar with it, it's not overly complicated. Disabling the search bar feature might as well be done since finding specific content is like asking a magic eight ball for guidance. With the right structure of learning content and smart tagging conventions, you won't even need the search feature. For example, bundling content into courses and courses into curriculum, onboarding, or career development. Our motto became "no content left behind." If it's not in a course, it's not in our system.

“Schoox is a great solution for multisite learning platforms”
Pros
The system allows for the creation of multiple groups, and each group can be customized as needed. The inclusion of a built-in social platform is a great bonus. I also appreciate the capability to construct exams directly on the platform.
Cons
Building the course has a learning curve, but once you grasp it, you'll be fine. It would be great to have a personalized journal for each learner and integration with Zoom.

“Amazing software for training”
Pros
SchooX has been instrumental in maintaining consistent training within our company. We can easily track training, assign specific tasks to individuals or groups, and more. It's user-friendly, and the cost is quite reasonable. I believe there is also a free version available! Adding materials for further training is a simple process that doesn't require an administrator.
Cons
Most of the content is geared towards retail/restaurant businesses, but the option to use third-party content makes it work.
