Simple setup and easy to navigate

Pros

It's super simple to get employee training set up and the platform itself is very user-friendly. What's great is that there are also plenty of powerful features available when you're ready to dive deeper.

Cons

The platform can be slow to load and sometimes throws errors while we are working which interrupts tasks. So I feel like the whole process could be more streamlined.

most intuitive option

Pros

Compared to other tools we've used, the best thing about this software is how intuitive and easy it is for everyone.

Cons

It is not a major issue but I have run into some glitches. Fixing them can sometimes take a lot of effort.

Flexible and collaborative platform

Pros

Schoox has a user-friendly interface that works well for both learners and administrators. I like that it also offers the flexibility to create personalized training for different job roles, along with great collaboration tools like discussion boards and forums.

Cons

One thing I noticed is that the mobile app does not have all the features of the desktop version like full content editing or settings access. The library of ready-made third-party courses also feels limited.

Easy to assign and receive tasks

Pros

I have used this app as both an admin and a learner. Assigning tasks was also easy and receiving them was just as simple and easy to understand.

Cons

The login function needs serious improvement. I am constantly getting logged out unexpectedly or having to sign back in which really slows down my progress.

Scalable for any company's growth

Pros

I believe this software is scalable for any stage of a company's growth. We can start with training for a single department or deploy it as a universal platform for everyone.

Cons

Well the support system is not the best. It is easy to get stuck in a loop where we need a support agent to step in and manually fix the problem.

A very well-designed platform

Pros

The platform is very well-designed with easy access and a great navigation layout making it a pleasure to use.

Cons

I have not had a bad experience but it would be even better if I could download courses to access them from anywhere.

Brilliant all-in-one solution

Pros

It brings together skills development and career pathing in a single platform, reducing the need for multiple HR or L&D tools. The design works for both admins and learners and I like that it offers a mobile-first experience with offline learning.

Cons

The older version has some problems with bugs and occasional crashes. Even though a newer version is available, some of us are still on the old app due to a slow rollout or company rules.

well-structured user interface

Pros

The user interface is well-structured. It shows our progress in several places, so we always know how much we have left to complete.

Cons

One thing I noticed is that the course layout is not consistent between different publishers which is frustrating. And sometimes a quiz will pop up right in the middle of a video.

A user-friendly and seamless platform

Pros

My favorite thing about Schoox is its user-friendly interface which is easy to navigate as both an admin and a learner. The course creation tools are simple to use and support many content types like PDFs, videos and SCORM files, making it easy to build a engaging learning experience. The mobile responsiveness is another big plus making learning on the go feel completely seamless.

Cons

The Zoom integration was not as smooth as I expected. Getting it set up required extra help from the tech team.

creative and engaging tool but poor support

Pros

This has been a fantastic addition for our team's development. Creating tests is really simple and we love that we can give awards to our top performers. The integration with HotSchedules makes it easy for staff to access everything, and the admin tools give us a lot of creative freedom. Another great benefit is being able to share training materials within the wider Schoox community.

Cons

The support team could not explain how the leaderboard works and when I proved the ranking was wrong, they blamed other factors. They also have not replied to multiple emails about website problems. It was frustrating not having clear information on advanced features from the start. As a large quick-service restaurant chain, we were unhappy with our previous LMS and were hoping for a better alternative.

way too simple and basic LMS

Pros

Schoox is a basic LMS that is simple to use, add users to and adjust courses on.

Cons

It is very, very basic and I noticed its missing some common features found in other LMS tools like the ability to sunset old courses when new versions are released.

Pros

We can store a huge library of training content and my team can access it from anywhere with an internet connection.

Cons

Offers wide variety of learning materials

Pros

My favorite aspects are the wide variety of learning materials and the simple interface. The self-paced learning is also perfect for managing a busy medical school schedule.

Cons

One of the biggest issue for me is the lack of medical-specific content. While it offers many learning opportunities, the material often lacks the depth required for specialized medical topics. It is challenging to find thorough, high-quality medical information compared to other platforms dedicated to medical students.

Makes training management simple

Pros

It makes training management simple. Tracking progress and following up is great and the video streaming function worked perfectly. I would give it 4.5 stars.

Cons

The video function is not interactive as you just click play and watch. You can also skip ahead by dragging the progress bar. So for this, I'd deduct half a star.

Easy to use for tracking

Pros

Schoox is easy to use, simple for tracking compliance and completion and has a user-friendly interface. The social and gamification tools have also been very popular with our team.

Cons

For now, it works best for standard training stuff and doesn't stretch too far beyond that. But I like that they're thinking outside the box, it's cool to see them testing features like coaching session trackers.
