“Extensive learning library
Pros
Studytube offers a large library of e-learning modules, along with strong support and very friendly people. The system for creating your own modules is also easy and works very well.
Cons
Honestly I cannot really think of any real downsides. If I had to mention something, it would be that employees might feel a bit overwhelmed by the large number of modules in the library, though there are ways to organize this properly.

“Proven a valuable tool
Pros
There's a wide range of external content available through DOI and the portal is user friendly for our employees. It also supports integrations with external libraries which adds a lot of value.
Cons
A few parts and features could still be developed further especially when the platform is used across multiple countries and employees have different preferred languages.

“enjoyable to use
Pros
I like the fact that there's a wide range of topics available and the system is user friendly, works reliably without issues and is genuinely enjoyable to work with.
Cons
One thing I do miss is more content around psychology in the workplace. As a psychologist, I'd really like to see additional topics focused on that area.

“packed with great features
Pros
Studytube comes with a wide range of features while still keeping the platform clear, simple and easy to manage. The team is constantly working on improvements and new features are developed, tested and rolled out quickly. Customer feedback is taken seriously and the support team responds fast and reliably.
Cons
Up to now, there has been very little to complain about. Occasionally, loading times are a bit longer when handling large amounts of content, although that may also be related to our own internet connection.

“provides us with strong learning content
Pros
Being able to create our own learning content is a big plus. It also allows us to present learning activities, such as events and e-learnings, to employees in a professional way.

“Studytube helps us grow in our "Power 2 our partners" strategy
Pros
We use this software under the name X2academy to share our own content internally and with our partner channel, fostering collective growth. The speed at which all the content can be found is impressive. The software allows us to establish a clear rights structure, bringing together various elements such as internal and external documentation, newsletters, online training with different media, and planning on-site courses.
Cons
Apart from the fact that Studytube doesn't always function well with a Firefox browser, I haven't come across any disadvantages so far.

“Usable and full of training options
Pros
It is user friendly and employees always have quick, easy access to a wide range of training courses and microlearning content. Managing everything is also simple.
Cons
We have been using it for quite a while and when the success manager came on board in 2021, it gave us a much clearer view of what the platform could actually do. It would have been better if that contact had already been in place shortly after the initial implementation.

“training setup is simple
Pros
Setting up training courses is easy and inviting participants doesn't take much effort. People can study at their own pace which is very convenient. It's also very helpful during audits because you can clearly show which training sessions have been completed. On top of that the progress reports are well organized and give a clear overview of how the trainings are going.
Cons
Because everything is handled digitally, it's easier to lose some of the personal contact with the course participants.

“offers wide range of training options
Pros
A big plus is the wide selection of external courses and training programs. The interface is clear and user friendly which makes the platform practical to work with. The reporting is simple and easy to follow and the support provided is also very good.
Cons
The Udemy integration is quite expensive. Also, the content itself, such as the free courses and videos, focuses mainly on soft skills so company-specific training options are missing.

“flexible learning options
Pros
It already starts with the simple connection to our e-HRM system and from there it's very convenient to offer every kind of learning activity. Whether it's internally organized events, online training courses, videos or even external education providers, the platform supports all of it.
Cons
The only thing to watch out for is that it can do so much that you may end up creating more administration and management than intended.

“Great interface and support
Pros
The platform has a beautiful, welcoming interface that really encourages people to start learning and developing. It's also very helpful that the first-line helpdesk is handled by Studytube.
Cons
At the moment the platform offers microlearnings, e-learnings, classroom learning and combinations of those formats. I'd really like to see games, assignments, tasks and other learning formats added as well. Right now, I can include a game as an e-learning but that doesn't really make sense for the end user. More learning formats in the platform would be very welcome.

“Extensive learning offering
Pros
Studytube is a user friendly platform where people can start learning independently right from the beginning without much guidance. From an admin perspective, it also gives me a clear overview of how the platform is being used. We're very happy with the broad learning catalog, the event tool and the DOI feature. Altogether, it saves us a lot of work and time in our daily activities.
Cons
There really aren't many downsides to mention about the platform. We use the event tool a lot and would love to see it expanded further so it can also support organizing events on a scale larger than just our own employee base.

“overall a user friendly platform
Pros
Studytube is user friendly for both learners and admins. The interface also looks polished, it is simple to navigate and they keep rolling out new features which makes the platform even more appealing over time.
Cons
One thing I have noticed is that course modules and topics involve quite a bit of clicking. It's not a major problem but it doesn't always seem necessary so hopefully that's something they'll improve in future product updates.

“flexible learning and shared knowledge
Pros
The software makes training much more accessible for everyone. It supports building education paths independently, simplifies the management of qualifications and entitlements and makes it easier to organize employee content and development plans. I also really value the digital format of the materials and the option to bring together training knowledge from multiple companies in one place.
Cons
The content creation system is quite complicated especially for beginners who are just getting started.

“our infocademy is a real asset :)
Pros
A big win for us has been improving the learning experience for our employees. Having our own online learning platform has really added value to the organization and we are genuinely proud of our Infocademy. Employees find the platform easy to use and on the HR side we've reduced a lot of administrative work by setting up automatic triggers and approval flows. The learning management system is clear, well organized and user friendly for administrators as well.
Cons
The strength of the platform is definitely the user-friendliness of the academy itself and the simplicity of the LMS behind the scenes but that also turns into a limitation. Custom-built adjustments are not possible. We work with themes for example and there is no filter option to support that. There are also settings that are available in one part of the system but not in another. For instance, employees can indicate interest in a certain learning intervention when it is set up as an event but not when it is offered as an in-company training. We have shared these requests with the product owner team.

“flexible roles won us over
Pros
In our setup, many different trainers and people from specialist departments run training sessions themselves. That made it incredibly important for us to choose a platform where responsible staff from other departments could create and upload learning content on their own. Studytube gives us plenty of options when it comes to assigning roles and permissions in the LMS and that was ultimately the deciding factor for us.
Cons
One area that could still be improved is the authoring tool for example when creating quizzes after courses. From what I understand, that should be getting better soon.
