cybersecurity training that delivers!

Pros

It offers one of the strongest gamified training options I've seen for employee learning. It works especially well for small businesses that need to make a big impact with security awareness. We used it specifically for cybersecurity and the amount of content in the library was impressive. The simulated phishing attacks were a perfect fit for what we needed! Also the support we got (from onboarding through ongoing customer service) was very attentive.

Cons

A few of the training modules came across as a bit cliche and weren't as engaging as I expected. Even so the training itself is still valuable and important.

Great Support

Pros

Using this platform has made it really simple for us to build organize and deliver all of our online training content. Customer support has also been excellent with impressively fast response times and very efficient help whenever needed.

Cons

Entering written content directly into the platform can feel a bit slow at times. There are also occasional strange layout quirks and there is no spell check feature when giving learner feedback. That said these issues are fairly easy to get around by copying and pasting from standard office programs.

Quick course management

Pros

A software that is very easy to use for both admins and learners! The interface is clean and the navigation flows well which makes managing courses fast and efficient.

Cons

A few features seem a bit limited when it comes to customization especially when trying to adapt the platform precisely to an organization's specific needs.

Smooth onboarding

Pros

Connecting it with Talent HR has made employee onboarding feel smooth. I've also been able to build out a comprehensive library of courses which has been really valuable.

Cons

I just wish it were as powerful as MINDSMITH when it comes to creating courses directly inside Talent LMS. Right now I'm building courses in MS and then exporting the SCORM file into Talent.

accessible training rollout

Pros

Rolling out internal training on policies and procedures has been pretty easy with this platform. The interface feels accessible so setting up courses doesn't take much time and the completion tracking works well. It gives us a clear organized way to manage training and keep compliance on track across the company.

Cons

Customization is a bit limited especially when it comes to more advanced reporting and shaping the user experience. A few features also come across as fairly basic when you need to support more complex training requirements.

well worth it!

Pros

Working with this software feels very user friendly and it gives really good value for the money. Adding users and courses is simple which makes managing everything much easier.

Cons

Since I run a call center with multiple campaigns we ended up needing more branches and had to upgrade to a higher plan.

simple integrations

Pros

Having BambooHR integration and access to TalentLibrary has been really valuable! The interface is also pretty customizable so we could brand the portal with our company colors, logos and even the course certificates. We've been able to build new courses, upload training content and customize the platform to fit our needs. Overall it feels like a flexible system.

Cons

At the same time the platform can be fairly technical when it comes to reviewing information and building courses. Creating reports that match exactly what I need can be a little challenging too. For instance when I want to check weekly course completions I want a simple view showing which courses were completed and by whom but getting to that data takes more digging than it should. The same goes for some of the gamification features. I also find the roughly two hour notification delay after enrolling someone in a course a bit strange since it would make more sense for that to happen instantly.

solid value

Pros

Navigation is easy and there's no unnecessary clutter. It does exactly what we need, offers really good value for the money and we're excited to keep using it more.

Cons

The home screen isn't as customizable as we'd want. It would be much better for our external users if we could show more of our own branding and style.

user friendly

Pros

The interface is very user friendly and creating courses feels easy. It also makes the learner journey simple and keeps the overall course experience easy to follow.

Cons

Platform still feels quite basic and is missing built in AI features. It would be much better if it could create a course from scratch inside the system including avatars, text, videos and fully finished video modules.

responsive customer service

Pros

It is easy to use and getting around it feels very simple. I also appreciate that it's updated regularly with bug fixes and whenever I've had questions the support team has replied quickly.

Cons

One limitation is that it doesn't display pricing in South African Rand. It's also frustrating that I can't download a hard copy of my training units or modules.

Fast setup

Pros

Getting started was quick and the platform is simple to figure out. It handles different types of content well, user management is uncomplicated and the pricing feels worthwhile for what it offers.

Cons

The customization options and reporting features feel a little limited and I've run into a few minor bugs now and then. Customer support is helpful but response times can sometimes be slower than expected.

Pros

As a small global employer we see this as a very cost effective option. Our team also really appreciates how user friendly the features are.

Cons

Something that doesn't land well is the animation style. Quite a few team members consider it unprofessional and it often comes across as annoying or childish.

great fit for us

Pros

Has been a grea fit for our team! The platform is user friendly, customizable and very easy to figure out. Switching between branches or roles is quick which makes daily use much more convenient. I also appreciate that they offer webinars and keep rolling out new features on a regular basis. Another big plus is being able to use it for customer training as well as internal employee training. On top of that the scalability and overall value for the price have been excellent.

Cons

The only issue I've run into is the occasional glitch which honestly can happen with any technology. That said their customer support team is very responsive and gets back to us quickly.

constantly improving!

Pros

It keeps getting better with regular updates, new features and bug fixes which is something I genuinely look forward to seeing in the release notes. It's very user friendly and has dramatically reduced the amount of time I spend on reporting.

Cons

At the moment leaders can't directly view the progress of their own team members. In a company with more than 300 people leaders, the only workaround is creating custom reports and managing 300 separate reports for each leader is far from practical.

Helpful guidance

Pros

Starting off with it was very easy and the platform itself has a clean and user friendly interface. Users do occasionally ask how to complete certain tasks but Talent makes it simple to share clear how to instructions and keep everyone on track.

Cons

I'd really like to see stronger custom reporting options especially with more precise dataset selection. Their built in training library is also pricey on a per user basis and many of the cartoon style videos don't feel like a good fit for my clients or leadership teams.

course management done right!

Pros

Uploading courses, handling enrollments and managing everything is really easy. Pulling reports also takes only a few clicks which makes the whole process very convenient.

Cons

There honestly isn't much to complain about. My only regret is not finding this platform years earlier because our previous LMS was outdated and difficult to work with.

accessible training library

Pros

One thing that really works well in the platform is the talent library and the range of soft skills courses available there! The security options are also a big plus especially the ability to use SSO login. Other than that the platform feels very accessible and simple to figure out which makes it pleasant to use.

Cons

A limitation is the lack of API support for setting up course content. It would also be much better if there were a more formal process for publishing our policies.

Great design

Pros

Getting around this software feels very easy even for someone brand new to the platform. The UI/UX is accessible and it covers most of the tasks we need it to handle. On top of that the onboarding experience from the early planning stage through application was excellent. Their team was wonderful throughout the process and we'll especially miss our onboarding contact who was an absolute pleasure to work with!

Cons

At certain points the installation process felt a little rushed particularly with calls limited to 45 minutes. Since the software offers so many options, longer sessions would have been helpful especially if they included hands on working time inside our own system.

positive experience!

Pros

Building courses here feels really quick thanks to the drag and drop builder. I can put together videos, quizzes and SCORM based courses within minutes and the prerequisite feature lets me automate learning paths so users follow the exact sequence I set up.

Cons

One issue is with the reporting tools especially the time on task data. The numbers are not always consistent so the engagement shown there does not always reflect actual learner activity.

effective platform

Pros

Running multiple localized courses across different business segments feels very manageable with this platform. The platform is technically solid, the support team is proactive and consistently helpful and the dashboard controls are clean, simple and well designed. It's the only option I've come across that feels truly accessible for this kind of setup.

Cons

A company really shows its value in the way it handles problems when they come up and this one does an excellent job on that front. I have no complaints!

Pros

Navigating the platform and accessing courses feels very easy thanks to the user friendly interface. The customizable features give a lot of flexibility when building and managing training programs. It also comes with a solid variety of tools for tracking learner progress and performance which is really useful. Apart from that the support team is responsive and does a good job of resolving issues quickly.

Cons

Setting everything up at the beginning can take a little extra time for administrators. The reporting tools work but they could definitely be more advanced and offer more customization.

Handy AI tools

Pros

The pricing is reasonable and having AI tools like TalentCraft included is a real plus. The customer service has been outstanding as well. Their team really went above and beyond while helping us work through the challenges of setting up our first branch homepage and that support made a huge difference.

Cons

Customization is still fairly limited when it comes to branding portals and homepages. There are also restrictions on how many sections you can add to a homepage and how many courses can appear in course galleries. Also the dual interface setup leads to broken links and creates confusion for users.

Very easy to get started with and the tech support has been outstanding! It's reasonably priced and flexible enough to adapt to all of our members training needs.

Cons

A limitation is with modules built using the TalentCraft feature since embedded videos don't have the same customization options as video- only modules such as adding subtitles. It would be helpful to have a few basic video editing tools and the option to upload multiple subtitle files at the same time for different languages.

help desk boost

Pros

Lately the Help Desk has been amazing! Responses come quickly and they stay with the issue until everything is fully resolved. The newer AI course creation feature is also really impressive. It still has room to improve but it's already making our courses better.

Cons

One issue with the e merchant function is that external clients can't submit a single order for multiple participants or multiple courses. Because of that we still have to handle those registrations manually.

Time saving

Pros

Using this platform for employee online training has really helped improve performance and keeping track of everyone's training progress is very easy. We also use it at times to conduct online interviews for applicants which ends up saving both time and money.

Cons

There really isn't much to complain about with it since it works well, feels secure and is simple to use. The only limitation I've noticed is that its online training features can be somewhat limited.
